Suzanne and Jeff were wonderful hosts and I really enjoyed taking care of their catPoppy. Their condo is very new and clean with all of the modern amenities and conveniently located to downtown Charlottesville. Poppy is an adorable cat who will “talk”to you and eventually allow you to pet her.
We had an amazing time sitting for Anna and Jerry in Merida. Chi Chi, Flaca and Daisy are a dream trio, incredibly easy to look after and we absolutely loved giving them cuddles and being entertained by their antics! Anna and Jerry were keen that we enjoy Merida as much as they do, encouraged us to get out and about and explore and gave us some great recommendations for things to do. Their house is stunning and we felt incredibly lucky to be able to stay there. This was a wonderful sit for us and we hope to see everyone again in the future!
Tamyra and Ben are incredibly welcoming hosts; They took the time to show me around & answer any questions. The home's backyard is to-die-for; If you like to read with serene views, then you'll love it. Kula is the absolute sweetest Golden that loves to cuddle. The only downside is realizing that at some point you have to leave & can't pet her forever. I enjoyed my sit and would 10/10 recommend to others.
My very 1st sit and it was great! Maria met with me before her travels and walked me through her home, while providing me with tips concerning her ‘guys’ Rolly, Charlie & Boo! It was a great help. The house clean, inviting and proximate to everything. My charges were absolute gentlemen LOL. Rolly, is the older, wiser brother- takes his time with everything. While Charlie and Boo, his younger brothers are more active and talkative. Nearby dog park (!), hiking & biking trails - Santos Trailhead were pluses. I will miss these fellas —especially Boo - as his name suggests he was fully I’d surprises and had the biggest personality, he is fearless!
I had such a nice time looking after Ruby! Guy and Katie made me feel very welcome in their home and walked me through everything in advance which was really helpful. Ruby is an incredibly sweet dog! She's so friendly with everyone (humans and other dogs alike) so it's always such a pleasure walking her - she always made friends everywhere we went! Finally the house is beautiful, bright, and located in a lovely neighborhood with great parks nearby. I'd highly recommend house-sitting for Guy and Katie and I'd definitely love to look after Ruby again :)
