Miko and Mocha are so playful and fun! They love their stick toys, especially the one with a mousie attached to it, but also the one with just a string. Combining stick toys with their ripple rug and they've got hours of entertainment. Mocha also loves getting out on the balcony and watching whatever's going on below. Miko wanted to come out - and he did for a few minutes - but then he gets scared and goes back inside. It took them a short time to warm up and then they'd both sit in the bedroom with me at bedtime or come onto the bed in the morning. Miko even slept at my feet one night. They both have such sweet dispositions! Julia's home is clean, welcoming, and easy to live in and I appreciated her book collection. This neighborhood is fantastic! Walkable to everything and I was surprised how quiet it is given that it's right in the city. Street parking was always available steps away from the door. Julia left easy to follow instructions and was in communication daily when I sent her pictures and updates on her boys. Highly recommend this sit.
It was both a pleasure and a delight to housesit for Michele and Ian. Communication was open, the house was clean and spacious, the area beautiful, and of course the most wonderful, most well behaved, and loveliest dog of them all, Daisy. Taking her for walks to the various parks nearby was always fun, social, and easy. We had an amazing time. Thank you both and lots of love to Daisy
Taking care of Ponto and Maisie was incredible! Alexandra and Andrew are really nice people. In addition to giving me a great welcome, Alexandra also helped me with whatever I needed. She even gave me a ride and offered to post things I forgot at the house. They also keep everything very organized as to what needs to be done. so it's very easy to follow. the house is wonderful, super comfortable and has everything you need. the location is great. They are very loving and affectionate, they love to stay in your lap. they are so cute! I already miss them! They love walking through Holand Park because there are lots of puppies there for them to pet, they love dogs and people. It's kind of a way for them to socialize. They were very happy every time they went there. In general, it was an incredible experience to be able to stay at Alexandra and Andrew's house and be able to take care of their beautiful and fluffy dogs.
We spent a week looking after Luna and Nev and we felt very welcomed by Jennifer. She welcomed us very well, showed us how everything works in the house and chatted with us for a while before leaving for her trip. The house had everything we needed and was very warm, which is important in winter. Luna is a very friendly kitten and likes attention, she will throw herself on the floor and roll around for you give her some cuddles she also loves treats. Nev is the opposite, he is very shy and spends his days in his room, playing or hiding, but after a while he gets used to you, but still prefers to stay in your space. They are both lovely and it was a pleasure to take care of them both. We hope to have the opportunity to see them again. Thanks for everything Jen.❤️
We had a wonderful time at Rachel’s house in Washington, the house and garden are beautiful. Also we fell in love with cats they were so great and loved cuddling up with us to watch TV. Also great location into the city Center.
I spent three weeks with Rumi and the experience was soooo good! He is very funny, loves playing around and spying on people from the balcony. I have weird work schedules so I sleep through the day, and he never ever woke me up. Actually, he slept at my feet most of the time. Hannah's flat is amazingly well situated. You can walk to basically everywhere in Madrid center: el Retiro, la estación de Atocha, el museo del Prado, la Plaza Mayor, la Puerta del Sol... infite posibilities to discover the city. And the Metro is 2 minutes away if you need to go a little further. The house has everything you can need and a lot of light thanks to two small balconies. Supermarkets and pharmacies are all around. It is a noisy street because of the bars and cafes, but if you close the windows you won't notice at all. I always had them open because I love the ambiance, and I think Rumi does too. I am not vegan, but I respected Hannas's request of not cooking meat at her home. It has been a good opportunity for me too to look for some meal alternatives and gave me the option to try new recipes. Hannah was always available through WhatsApp and the communication with her has been very easy and smooth, from the very first day. Thank you so much for these amazing days in Madrid, they gave me the chance to discover my own city in a different way! :)
