Great sit! It was so nice to feel in the middle of nature on Lynne and Ben’s large tree-filled property, even though we weren’t too far from busier life. Lots of birds to watch and some deer visitors too. The house is light-filled and cozy. The cats are so sweet, with Teddy being more of a cuddler and Edie more independent. They are pretty low-maintenance besides opening the door to let them in and out. The house has everything you need and I bet it’s even prettier with leaves on the trees. Lynne and Ben were welcoming and even left me some homemade goodies. Recommend!
Wonderful sit!! Margit and Steve are incredibly kind and generous people. They welcomed us into their home wholeheartedly, greeting us with a delicious dinner on the first night before they left on their trip. They were very accommodating to our travel schedule, and helped us get to the airport. The house is lovely and very spacious, and the location is great! We used public transit to get all around the city and had no issues. The dogs are amazing! Parker and Bailey are such a dynamic duo. They provided us with endless entertainment and lots of love. We will miss them, and would gladly come back any time. We highly recommend this sit for anyone looking to stay in Seattle!
This was such an incredible sit! Michael and Brian are such inviting hosts, and Bowie is the most loving pup ever. Luna and Phina took a bit more time to warm up to us, but eventually it was all love! Would recommend this sit to anyone!
Ideal sit for couple who wants a base from which to explore Wellington, and to have the company of a non-demanding spoodle and the sweetest rescue tabby. If you don’t mind the odd tiny field mouse, this is a truly nice sit. Leontine and Pete genuinely care about their pets, people, and the planet. Between Leontine’s guide and Pete’s handover, I had everything required to feel confident. Skye cat is the sweetest little rescue and has grown up with Billie Moon spoodle who can behave very much like a cat — fiercely independent but affectionate at times, even a better mouser. The house is central enough that if you have a car, Billie is so well-trained and good-mannered, you can take her anywhere. There are also within about 20-minutes walking distance a couple of dog-friendly cafés where she is now well-loved. And there are some lovely dog walks in the area. Skye is polite too — first morning she’ll wait until 05:30 to wake you. Everyone has manners — even the mice whistle to announce their arrival in case you’re squeamish. (I had no idea that whistling mice was a thing but I’m not kidding — look it up.) Beautiful pets, beautiful family, central location.
I stayed with Nioki over Christmas of 2017, and we had a wonderful time together. She's the sweetest dog, and Julie & Thomas are lovely people! The apartment was perfect - bright and spacious, with everything that you need. The waterfront is just down the block, with a nice trail to a park (and dog park). Lots of compliments about Nioki's breed, as corgis seem to be rare in Stockholm! :)
Caring for Moon and Kobutsu was an absolute pleasure. They are both so easy to love, affectionate, mellow and sweet. Taking Moon on walks around the neighborhood was a magical experience because Sellwood, in my opinion, is the best neighborhood in Portland. The dog-friendly park is right down the hill, with the beautiful river, and everything you need in one area. Tess was so laid back, kind, and communicative. This has been one of my favorite sits so far. Thanks for having me!
