I can’t recommend Gareth’s dog walking and home boarding enough. He walked my spaniel for several years, frequently returning him ‘dog tired’. He also boarded him at home, and my spaniel was very much at home. A dedicated dog walker who delivers excellent service.

Our pup would give Gareth ten stars if he could! He greets Gareth as though he is a member of the family, and absolutely loves his walks (we can tell from watching him on the daily clips Gareth posts!) Gareth is always professional and reliable, and will always try to help if you need an unexpected extra walk or visit. Our pooch has also had several holidays at dog tired HQ when we have been away, and is looked after like a prince (we have seen photo evidence of him sleeping upside down in front of the log burner, clearly very comfortable in his holiday home!)

I am full of praise for Gareth. He's such an enthusiastic and caring individual who really cares about the dogs he walks. Willow is very happy to go for her walk and Rosie, the pup, can't wait to join the pack. 5 star recommendation from me and the dogs!

Couldn't recommend Gareth highly enough to anyone needing their dogs looked after, our dog ollie has been going walks with Gareth for years and has also spent time at dog tired HQ being looked after and spoilt. Daily videos of all the dogs together are great to watch and see how well they are being looked after, easy 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Layla looked after my 2 spaniels whilst I was on holiday for a week, they had never stayed away before so I was anxious, however I received regular updates & pictures/videos and was able to relax as I could see how happy my girls were, they were in Laylas home and being treated like her own. Layla looked after our little sausage dog Maisy whilst we were getting married down the road at Inchyra. Layla also brought Maisy to our wedding for a couple of hours so she could be there on our special day. Maisy had the best time with Layla and she could not have been better cared for. Layla sent us lots of photos and video updates so we were absolutely confident she was settled and having a lovely time. I can’t thank Layla enough and we will absolutely be calling on her again to look after Maisy in the future. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring person to look after their furry friend!

Layla looked after our 2 dogs while we were at a wedding in the area. They went on 2 pack walks and stayed overnight at her lovely home. The dogs clearly had a great time as they've done nothing but sleep since! They were really relaxed when we picked them up. Layla was in regular contact with us and she's clearly very experienced with dogs. Would 100% use again and recommend!

Tails and Trails aka Layla offers a wonderful service, she came to meet Ruby and assess her skills and interactions with other dogs before taking her on 1-1 walks, then when Ruby was behaving well off lead she introduced her to pack walks. Ruby loves her weekly pack walks and is always excited to go and tired afterwards. I highly recommend this service.

Misty adores her trips with Layla and her doggie friends and loves her holidays with Layla. Can wholeheartedly recommend Layla- lovely with our Misty and totally trustworthy.

I adopted my dog in September of last year, not knowing much about his background other than him not being good around other dogs. I was worried how my dog would be, getting taken out with Layla, but I had no reason to worry at all, as he was so well behaved & enjoyed his first ever walk with Layla & a small pack. Layla set my mind at ease with pictures & videos. I would highly recommend Layla 🐶🐾

Layla is just wonderful! If I could give her 10 stars, I would! Our dog loves her so much, he gets SO excited every time I drop him off with Layla. She always sends us pictures and videos of his walkies which just makes my day. She has such a good way with him and all of the dogs she cares for.

Suzy our sitter came over to us twice at Cardney Steading where our daughter got married this week. What a wonderful kind and caring lady and so gentle with him. What an amazing team! Blairgowrie Walkies regularly look after our 2 dogs with very differing needs. We have an old lady who likes to wander slowly sniffing as she goes and then a youngster who will run and jump all day. Both are well catered for and really enjoy their time with the different members of the team. They have taken them on short notice and helped us out when needed. I love seeing the reports on how the day has gone and I feel really confident that our dogs are getting the best care .

We hired Blairgowrie Walkies so that we could have our dog at our wedding and couldn't have been happier at the result. Lynsey was so helpful in figuring out what we needed and how it would all work. Ryan took such good care of our boy on the day and let us get him involved without adding any extra stress on our wedding day. We even have a wonderful video and photos of his day at the wedding. Blairgowrie Walkies stepped in at the last minute to look after my 5 horses, as well as my sheep. They came to meet them all the week before, which was great, as we could tell the horses liked them. The visit reports were amazing, as they gave total peace of mind that my animals were all OK. I came back to very happy animals, who had clearly enjoyed the attention they were given. I will definitely use again.

Blairgowrie walkies brought our spaniel, Flynn to our wedding for us. Flynn has the best day, and made a new best friend in Ryan. It was lovely seeing all the photos and videos of him the next day. Flynn can sometimes be nervous with new people but he was clearly very happy with Ryan, who got him posing perfectly for photos, and took him round to see all of our guests (who were clearly there to see him!!). He had two good walks and was delivered back the the kennels safely. Lynsey has been so helpful when organising everything. She understood how important Flynn is to me and made sure I was happy with all of the plans. I would highly recommend Blairgowrie Walkies if you wanted your dog to attend your wedding.

We got Blairgowrie Walkies to look after Moss on our wedding day at Cardney Steading. It allowed Moss to be part of the day but we did not have to worry about him. Ryan was fantastic, so clam and handled Moss perfectly. Lynsey was great to deal with from start to finish, you can tell they really put the pets best interest above everything else. Knowing that Moss was looked after throughout the day and tucked up into bed afterwards put our minds at ease and let us really enjoy our day, another thing that made it so special. Well worth it! Our dog attends dog day care with Blairgowrie Walkies and has done since he was a puppy - he is almost 5 years old now. Lynsey and her team are fantastic with all the pets they care for ranging from dogs, cats, ferrits, rabbits, horses and the list goes on. Our pooch gets sooo excited when his walker comes to pick him up every day - he adores her - and I know he is well looked after and has a great time with all his furry friends. The photos posted each day are proof of how much fun he and the other dogs have on their walks. I would highly recommend Blairgowrie Walkies to look after your fur babies, they are professional, reliable and caring. They treat each pet as if they are their own. Best Dog Walker and Day care provider in my opinion and I just know our dog totally agrees.

Having hesitated to use a pet sitter for some time, We used Furr Pet's Sake service for the first time recently. I'm so glad we did! As another reviewer mentions, Rebecca is very professional, takes notes and acts on them - which counts, as we have a cat and chickens too); but over and above that, she takes time to give them warmth and affection, so important for our elderly cat in particular. She gives updates while you're away at whatever level you need, her charges are affordable and she really does offer peace of mind.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rebecca to look after your fur / feathery babies. She looked after my 16 chickens and my bunny rabbit while we were on holiday and she did a great job. She is obviously an animal lover who is passionate about her business. I was very impressed with how professional she is. All instructions had been followed and I came home to a lovely letter containing an overview of the care she had given. Rest assured you can relax and leave your animals in Rebecca’s capable hands. I contacted Working Canines as I was having issues with my 4 month old WCS. She’s a sweet girl with a great energy but she pulled on the lead so much I was worried I was going to end up causing her damage. I went for my first session with Mick, who taught me how to correct my pup properly and had her walking to heel within one session. After being back for my second session, she’s almost foot perfect with me on my own. I’m now able to have her off lead and staying close to me and even walking to heel when I need her to. Mick’s knowledge and experience makes him the perfect trainer for gun dog breeds and their owners. As Wren is my first gun dog, I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing by her and Mick has, without doubt, given me the confidence I needed. I now have a lovely, energetic but engaging pup who is biddable and well behaved. Cannot recommend Working Canines enough!!

After using a previous local trainer with no change to dog, started looking for help again we thought Mick was local to us, however on speaking with Mick we were sure that he was the guy we needed to help us, although he had moved to Blairgowrie but we were willing to travel. So we went up with caravan and stayed local for a couple of days, met up with Mick and he watched us with the dog pulling us and not listening to commands. Mick took control of the dog and within 2 minutes the dog was under control, spent some time with Mick on dog pulling on lead and behaviour problems also recall. After a few hrs with Mick he is a totally different dog very pleased with amazing results already he is a pleasure to walk as well as his behaviour and recall. Can't recommend Mick high enough, provides a second to none excellent service. Mick provided a no nonsense approach to training both dog and owner, and trust me owner training is every bit as important as dog training. Our rather large Newfoundland Dug was trained by Mick when he was a pup, and by following Micks guidance and training we soon had a fantastic well behaved young dog. Mick, without doubt is among the best dog trainers in the country.is a very honest and genuine man. If you need a dog trainer look no further.

I took my wee dog to Mick, when he lived at his former home, within 10-15 minutes, Mick had him walking to heel. He also had him running around with his own dogs and we did recall with him, which also was very good. I would definitely recommend Mick if you are looking for someone to train your dog,it is not just the dog he trains it's often the owner who needs trained!!lol

Came across Mick on Facebook and got in touch for some advice. Our black lab has just turned two and, although he isn’t bad, we have a few issues with him pulling, wanting to speak to other dogs and with barking inside the house. Started off with a zoom call and Mick gave some great advice about how to establish boundaries within the house and today we had a follow up focusing on doing heel work and recall. Getting some expert advice on how to do things properly is just invaluable and we feel so much more confident now. Will put it all into practice then going to go back and do retrieval work. Would definitely recommend Mick - down to Earth, no- nonsense but always putting the dog’s welfare first.

My rehome 3 year old springer spaniel was let’s say head strong, no recall & a hunter ! Having attended various dog training classes with minimal success, partly due to class size I then happened upon Working Canines & Mick’s no nonsense, firm approach on a one to one basis gave me a dog that was manageable & responsive to commands. However, probably one of the most important aspects of his instruction was training me to recognise behavioural issues, set boundaries & have confidence in your actions resulting in happy owner & a happy dog. Would highly recommend Mick to train any dog …. and their humans & not every dog trainer understands how a spaniels mind works !!!

What can I say, well Mick is the best trainer not only does he train dogs he trains humans . Put in the work and stick to what Mick says and it's totally worth it. My pup is stock trained ,walks to heel and recall is great. Beep collar worked brilliant in stock training . Feel like part o the family with Mick and lovely Mandy. 100%recommend.

I took my border terrier to Mick a couple of years ago, and haven't looked back! Harris is not treat orientated, so all other trainers failed in helping me have a dog I could walk off the lead, but return to me when called (whistled!). Did I mention he is VERY prey driven! I honestly can't thank Mick enough for all his help - I can still hear his voice in my head when I even think about slowing my pace if Harris is in my path when out for a walk! It's the owners need the training!

Mick has a great common sense, logical approach to dog training and helped me enormously with my two dogs when he was living in the south of Scotland. I can't recommend him more highly and will not hesitate to go to him again.

Great service from these lovely ladies. They looked after our pets by way of home visits during our holidays. Gutted they’re only doing regular walks now but would recommend them to anyone. They’re so friendly, genuinely care about each and every animal. They put us totally at ease when we were really nervous leaving our pets for the first time.

Barking Mad is an excellent service! I have used Barking Mad for a number of years for my dogs and I've never been disappointed. Our dogs have been very well looked after and when the van pulls up to collect them there is great excitement from them about going on holiday! Elaine and John are genuinely caring towards the dogs and we leave them feeling confident that they will be well looked after and have a great time! Thoroughly recommend.

I have been a Barking Mad Host and service user for almost 20 years. Elaine and John are the third owners I have worked with and not only are they lovely people, they are by far the most enthusiastic, committed owners of the service. Not only do they ensure dogs have a fabulous holiday in appropriate surroundings, they have developed a very caring community for the Hosts. All your lovely dogs are looked after so well in their holiday homes.

After a bad experience with dog care some years ago, I thought I would never go on holiday again – until I found Barking Mad. My pooch has some quirky habits which require particular care and attention – John and Elaine came to the house to meet him, took note of everything down to the smallest detail and found the perfect host who catered for all his needs. I went to visit my family in New Zealand and had heaps of text messages, photos and video showing my dog out on lovely walks, having lots of fun and looking totally relaxed. I have already booked my next holiday and have every confidence that with Barking Mad, my dog will receive the same care, attention and love that he gets at home. I can’t rate this organisation highly enough, they are simply the best.

I cannot recommend barking mad fife enough. When your going on holiday you want your furry friend to be looked after the same way you look after them at home. You want peace of mind and reassurance, this is exactly what Elaine and John provide. No detail is missed out and they cover absolutely everything with you in a 2 hour initial meeting before they board your dog. Our dog has joint issues which can limit some activities, this issue was 100% taken on board while our dog was in Elaine and Johns care. I think it’s important to know any health issues your dog may have will be looked after correctly. You’ll receive updates with photos when you are away- chances are your furry friend is also having a 5 star luxury holiday of their own! The service is second to none and worth every penny. I cannot rate Elaine and John highly enough.

Since we first used John and Elaine at Barking Mad to look after our Gordon Setter "Floyd" for six weeks in 2017 we would not consider placing him anywhere else. He loves going with them and has the time of his life running with the pack in the hills and swimming in the sea. While he's away we get regular pictures and videos sent so we can see how happy he is. We would have no hesitation recommending them even for long stays. Peter and Maureen.

Our last dog Trey, a ‘silver surfer’ was always looked after so well and loved his holibags with Elaine and John. He was a withdrawn guide dog who had bad arthritic legs who just loved people and we worried how he would be staying with others. We needn’t have worried as he loved every second and was always cared for to our exact needs regarding his food and medication. When we lost him our two new girls who are rescue labradors now go on holiday with them too. As I am now disabled it was a huge worry for me that if I had to do anything at short notice, who would look after my dogs? I am so lucky that Elaine and John have always gone the extra mile for me when I have needed care for the girls at very short notice sometimes so that this now is not an issue. If anyone is considering dog care I would say let your dogs go on holiday with John and Elaine. You can have total peace of mind to enjoy whatever you are doing in the knowledge that your fur babies will be having a blast with the best care possible and being treated as part of a family with all their home comforts.

This is a wonderful service, run and owned by 2 devoted dog lovers. Elaine and John are friendly, caring and very professional people, they ensure that you and your dogs safety, comfort any special needs are their main priority. We were extremely happy with every aspect of the service they provided, which allowed my Wife and I to enjoy our break/holiday away, knowing that our 'Kizzi' was safe and happy! Many thanks to you both and we will be using your service anytime we ever wish to go away, when we are unable to take Kizzi.

Excellent service provided by wonderful and devoted staff. Nothing is too much for them as in our case when our pooch has to go to the vets, as she does once a month, it is no hassle whilst we are on holiday. Her dog sitter is excellent as well and we know that the dog is being well cared for. Keep up the good work and I would recommend them to anyone.

Sam was very welcoming and professional when he met us with our dog to get to know her - she was at home and settled in straight away. Our dog Leo went to stay for the first time with Sam for two nights. He had an amazing time! He loved playing with the other Leo and he enjoyed lots of cuddles. Sam went above and beyond to make him feel at home because it was his first stay there. We will definitely be using Sam again! My brother’s dog Ava stayed at Leo’s boarding for 2 nights. She absolutely loved it. The house was clean and dog friendly. The service was professional, good value for money and most importantly-the owner has a clear love of dogs! Whilst we were away, we received videos and photos of Ava having an amazing time, running around with their dog Leo. We have her booked back in again in October! I would highly recommend them!

More than happy to leave an excellent review for Sam after minding our dog . Sam’s a lovely guy who genuinely loves dogs and will look after yours as if it’s his own . Regular updates and photos of our dog along with Sam’s own dog let us see how well he was doing without us! I would highly recommend Sam and be in no doubt your dog will be cared for exceptionally well . 5 stars from us & will for certain be using Sam’s fantastic service again .

Alfie loves his time at Leo’s Home Dog Boarding, I can leave him there with confidence which is rare with his separation anxiety. The updates are amazing and Sam is very supportive and accommodating around drop offs and pick ups.

Went in when a raw order of of mine was late they only had natures choice and a small variety. Recently went back to buy raw dog treats the fixed price treats varied in size and weight so much they should have priced individually. Slow service on.both occasions. No wheelchair accessible. Sadly won't be returning

During lockdown we have struggled to get our normal cat litter, I called pet pantry to see what cat litter they stocked, I explained the type I was looking for and although he didn't stock it he did recommend something similar. When we got to the pet pantry the owner was very welcoming, pleasant to chat to and very knowledgeable! He had a 1 in 1 out policy on the door and provided hand sanitizer. After purchase he offered to carry the litter out to our car (it was a 20kg bag of Sanicat clumping for £8.99 - bargain!) We were parked in the Sainsburys car park so I made my partner carry it! 🤣 All in all a great experience, the litter was a great recommendation and we have happy cats again so we will be returning soon for another bag and cat food!! Thank you!

Words will never fully describe how wonderful Adie Kennels and Cattery are… Stuart and Maggie are simply the BEST. From day one (almost 5 years ago) we have been made to feel welcome and nothing has ever been too much trouble. Our 9yr old golden retriever Jett has stayed with these guys a few times and always is returned to us in tip top shape. Brushed, walked and loved on - he is given medicine if necessary - you really can’t ask for more from this place. Definitely the best kennels we have ever used. We have a nervous rescue spaniel who is not comfortable with humans at all - he has been going to Adie Kennels for a few years now and he just loves Maggie & Stuart, goes off with them no problem and enjoys his cuddles and playtime with Maggie - even came home doing high fives once ! Nothing is too much trouble for them. We never have any concerns when we leave Spotty, knowing he is happy and comes home more confident with every visit. Can't recommend highly enough.

My cat Buddy is just back this morning from a 9 night stay with Stuart and Maggie. They are absolutely amazing and always look after Buddy so well. I can't recommend them highly enough, I would never put Buddy anywhere else. He's home looking fab and a happy boy. Hard to overstate the care that our dog Cara had recently at Stuart and Maggie’s! Great communication before the stay, fantastic care for Cara when she was upset during a thunderstorm and when our flight was delayed there was no problem with them having her for an extra night! Cooper's first stay at a kennel and we were delighted with the service here. From the moment we picked up the phone we were reassured with the thorough, professional and friendly voice at the other end of the phone. When we arrived, the hand over was first class - a lovely setting with great facilities. All in all, great attention to detail which put us at ease with our pup's first stay away from home. Cooper is currently a tired boy from all the excitement of his holiday. Thank you and looking forward to returning in the near future.

A massive thank you for taking such good care of Cleo while we were away. We have used a number of catteries in the past and i can honestly say she has never come back so healthly looking and been so relaxed. Even my husband has passed comment on how happy she is. She usually takes a good few days to settle back in but it's clear that she has felt safe in your care. Thank you so much x

Fantastic kennels in a lovely setting. Top class service from Maggie and Stuart. I wouldn't think of using any other kennels and Nala always goes in to and out of the kennels very happy.
