Don and Becky were the perfect house/pet sitters. They excelled in communicating from start to finish, left a spotless home for us to come back to, had flowers, apples from their visit to the orchard, note, bottle of wine and salad prepared. Oh and our windows washed!!!! The chickens and Callie were well cared for. Becky sent pics of Callie and the girls through out our time away. This couple loves animals and they love them! You would be privileged to have them care for your pets and home. I forgot to mention that they are warm and personable folks and we are certainly blessed to have met them. Thank you Becky and Don!!
Kaela is a bubbly, kindhearted woman. She and I chatted on a video call prior to the sit where her demeanor put me at ease, comfortable my dogs would have her attention and care. I had the privilege of meeting her the night before my departure. Though we did not have much time together as I had an early morning ahead and she needed to complete some tasks for her work, I was able to witness Kae in action. She immediately took to the dogs, giving them belly rubs from the onset. Throughout the weekend, Kae kept me updated with anecdotes and photos. She works remotely, which benefited Sasha & Kaiser since they had company during the day. She was mindful of Kaiser's medication and mobility, a new addition to responsibilities. She did alert me to a moment of anxiety for Kaiser, which is important to mention to future sitters. Her attention to the dogs' behaviors and dedication to the success of other's staying with them is a testament to her thoughtful personality. Kae is respectful of the spaces around her, as evidenced when I returned home to two happy dogs and a tidy home. She graciously shared her remaining groceries with me to avoid waste. Overall, a wonderful worry-free weekend was had thanks to Kae! She and her partner Wyatt (though he was absent this visit) are welcome back anytime!
