What a treat to look after Chester and Borah. Olivia and Joe's place is absolutely wonderful - comfortable, immaculate, well-sourced with everything one could need and a great location. Olivia and Joe are kind, lovely people who made me feel welcome and appreciated. Chester and Borah were loving and well-behaved. I love how Borah will come back inside when you call! How many cats will do that? Chester was a joy to take on walks and especially loved the water. He was great with other dogs and easy to take everywhere. My stay was absolutely wonderful and much appreciated. I hope I have another opportunity to look after them.
Linda and Chester make for the perfect low-key and chill duo. Chester, the sweet and adorable dog, could use a bit more walking, but when he does walk, get ready for a power brisk pace....He is in a mission! As I came to give TLC to Chester, he returned it with even more love and comfort, always choosing to lay down or sit right beside me. His constant presence provided me with an unwavering sense of comfort and love that I will surely miss. Linda's home is a modern haven, ideal for productive work and healthy cooking, while still being conveniently close to famous restaurants, parks and waterfront trail as well as DC landmarks. During my stay, I truly got a feel for one of DC's vibrant neighborhoods. The top-floor suite, complete with a deck, small refrigerator stock up with water, and Lavazza coffee maker, spoiled me beyond belief. Although I had access to the kitchen, dining area, and living room, the suite offered the perfect blend of privacy and comfort. It was a haven where I could unwind and recharge. I was even treated to a fantastic view of fireworks, although poor Chester was afraid of the booming sounds. I must admit, my overall experience was truly exceptional, to the point where it made me contemplate planting my roots in DC or using it as a home base. I highly recommend this wonderful and hassle-free sit to anyone seeking an easy yet enjoyable stay in DC while getting to know a kind and fascinating dog/parent duo!
We just had a delightful time at Philippa's home. The place is located in a great neighborhood, the house is beautiful and comfortable, and Phillipa greeted us with a really warming welcome. Besides all those amazing things, we can easily say that the best part about our time there was Nessa. Certainly, she is one of the best dogs in the world. She is so smart, well behaved and considerate. We had a great time walking around and hiking with her. She is a great partner for all kind of adventures! She is so lovely, and also loves just chilling at home. We definitely loved this house sitting!
We had the pleasure of caring for two delightful cats Lochie and Isla in a beautiful apartment in Glasgow. Lochie and Isla were not only friendly and playful but also incredibly adorable. They loved spending quality time with us, and we enjoyed every moment with them. Caring for Lochie and Isla was a breeze, as they posed no problems at all. They were well-behaved and brought so much joy to our days. Isla is the sweetest cat we have ever seen. The apartment was stunning and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Although we didn't have the opportunity to meet Issy, in person, we maintained regular online communication throughout our pet-sitting experience. Issy was a fantastic and caring individual, ensuring that we had all the necessary information and support. Overall, our experience caring for Lochie and Isla in the beautiful Glasgow apartment was truly wonderful. We are grateful to Issy for entrusting us with her lovely cats. We highly recommend this pet-sitting opportunity to anyone seeking a rewarding and enjoyable experience with friendly feline companions.
We had a lovely stay with Miffy in Brixton. Miffy is lovely and she loves parsley. She is also quite low maintenance, if you are looking for a relaxing house sit. Communication was very easy with Seb and Hannah and the house is very central and easy access to the the tube.
I had the pleasure of house sitting in Dolce's lovely flat in a great location in East London, and it was an absolute delight. Dolce, is a true sweetheart. The flat was cozy and spacious enough, making my stay incredibly enjoyable. I can't recommend this house sitting opportunity enough. Vivek, Dolce’s dad is the kindest!

They do a screening test for each dog to see who they're compatible with and let them play with the dogs that match your dogs energy! We love that they go the extra mile and offer frozen treats and have parties for the dogs like Taco Tuesday, pool days and Christmas, Easter and Birthday parties! I also LOVE their instagram stories and seeing all the happy dogs 🥰 Steve comes home so tired and happy from interacting with the other dogs and staff all day! We love doggy daycare ❤️
We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog, Arlo, receives at Off the Bone. He absolutely loves this place and always has the best time! Sarah and Declan looked after him while we were away for six weeks, and they took such good care of him that he felt just at home. OffThe Bone is a great place for my Assistance Dog in Training Trix to develop his social skills, while playing and being happy. I know that my adolescent dog is in the best of professional hands and supervised with care and relevant knowledge. Sarah makes also every effort to be accommodating and flexible to suit my time table. I am glad that I found this place via the recommendation of my Assistance Dog trainer.
Off The Bone doggy daycare has been a lifesaver for us, and our separation anxiety prone dog, Scout. Declan and his caring team look after the dogs as if they were their own, and provide a fun, and safe environment. It's a great place, and our boy LOVES to go each day, and is so tired out at the end, but energised to go again the next day. Scout has stayed the weekend a few times as well, and settles in to his home away from home. The new shop at the front is an amazing addition - selling locally made pet treats. I highly recommend Off the Bone to anyone looking for great care for their fur-babies!

Declan and Sarah from Off the Bone are amazing!!! My GSD Doja Absolutley loves her two days a week, With a variety of all breeds and sizes of dogs Doja gets to socialise well. Declan and staff are so kind and real animal lovers. I highly recommend if u are needing someone to take care of your fur baby to get in contact. I have used Off the Bone for stay overs as well and Doja loves it. Always happy times with Off The Bone.
Not only a fabulous, fun place for my dog, but also a much-needed service within the area. My dog Nala loves her weekly visit, where she is looked after by Declan and his great team. They are so caring and great at what they do, and Nala comes home tired after such a fun and stimulating day. We love Off The Bone.

I’ve had multiple great experiences here both with grooming, doggy daycare and Saturday play group. The employees are all very kind and Misty is always exhausted but very happy when I pick her up. I chose them specifically because she can see the groomer and daycare staff regularly and have a little group of humans she trusts. Extremely happy and I highly recommend them.

We used mad paws to guarantee a sitter. You pay a premium for this. They can cancel at the last minute and have no email or contact number to reach to help manage their unreliable sitters. Mad paws pls respond. We need not just a refund of the sitter but our 3 day accommodation because you have no customer service. Be warned, mad paws all care but no responsibility, it you are planning a trip you cannot count on them.

We recently had an unfortunate experience with Adrian, who we found through MadPaws. Our 6-year-old Golden Retriever, Benji, stayed with him last week, and while the sitter had great reviews and the meet-and-greet with his Maremmano dog went smoothly, our experience was far from what we had hoped for. When we picked Benji up, we noticed a lot of blood on his thigh. At first, we thought it might be a scratch, but once we got home, we discovered five puncture wounds, which were clearly bite marks. We were devastated and rushed Benji to the emergency vet twice that night to ensure he received the care he needed. We messaged the sitter to let him know what had happened and shared photos of the wounds. Initially, he denied that his dog could have bitten Benji, claiming he always monitors the dogs. While we weren’t accusing him, we simply wanted to share our experience so he could take extra precautions in the future. Unfortunately, he did not respond to our concerns at first. After following up to express how upsetting the situation was and mentioning we would leave feedback on MadPaws to inform other pet owners, he finally apologized. However, we felt that the response lacked genuine empathy or acknowledgment of the seriousness of what happened. We are sharing this feedback not to defame the sitter but to inform other pet owners. If you are considering this sitter, please be aware of his dog’s behavior and ensure your pet’s safety. We don’t want any other pets to go through what Benji endured. Benji is recovering now, but this experience has left us deeply shaken. As pet owners, we understand how important it is to ensure our furry friends are safe and well-cared for when we’re away, and we hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.
Dont use these services, just google pet sitters and walkers and have a chat with one of them about options, all pet sitters are different and you will be able to find someone who suits your needs without letting Mad Paws take a cut for no reason at all, they provide nothing.

Terrible company, after contacting about 50 sitters who are either overpriced or keep declining I’m still yet to find someone who can look after my pets. The app is horrid and keeps crushing and the fee they want to take makes the whole sitting unaffordable. Would not recommend

Mad Paws is a fantastic service that put me in touch with great dog people. The system was really easy to use, I was able to review potential pet sitters based on their profile, reviews and proximity to my home. Booking and payment was secure and simple. Each pet sitter has looked after our puppy perfectly and sent photo updates while we were away. Our dog returned home happy and relaxed. I can highly recommend this service.
I will rate 10 stars if I can! I found them because they replied to me so quick and very polite. They arranged meet and greet before house visit so that we can see whether our puppy loves them. The answer is 100% YES! They are so kind and real animal lovers. They will meet every requirement you need. They will send you many photos to keep you updated of your fur baby. Todd is great with my Pumba, she loves going for walks with him. He is very patient with her and she is tuckered out when she gets back ☺️ Todd is also easy to deal with and kept in communications!

Todd was our pet sitter and house sitter for most of August when we were away overseas. Todd was fantastic, sent us lots of photos of our pets and kept us informed. The house was well looked after and it gave us great peace of mind to know that Todd was there looking after things. The price was reasonable and we would not hesitate to use Todd and Ruff Pet Day Care again.
Honestly hands down best in the business! I have a staffy with anxiety and Samantha comes and looks after him and he really adores her. She’s always gentle and calm with him as he stresses out a little bit so he needs someone like that. The owner Todd is also amazing to deal with stress-free experience when booking in any walks or overnight stays. I’ve had people make me feel silly about having a dog with anxiety but they honestly make you feel at ease and will do anything to help. You couldn’t recommend enough.
Todd and Jo were amazing with our 8 month puppy Nova. It was the first time we had left her with people that were not family and she had never stayed at another person's house. We did a meet and greet about a month prior and we left feeling confident Nova would be well cared for and have the time of her life, and we were not wrong. We loved the updates and following her on Instagram and seeing how lucky she was to be at a home away from home. It enabled us to have a relaxing break knowing she was being well looked after and mentally stimulated. Nova has made some new friends that I know will become part of her future as well.
Found Ruff Day Pet Care when frantically searching for last minute pet boarding. Todd was quick to respond and very flexible with pick up and drop off times. We were kept up to date with messages and photos of little Donald, he looked like he was having such a good time I didn’t think he’d want to come home! We picked up a very happy and sleepy pup! Absolutely trust Todd with Donald and will be using his service many times in the future.
Our Golden Retriever absolutely loves Todd and his team. He is a big boy with lots of energy and is always exhausted and happy when he arrives back home. Todd is awesome to work with, professional and we’re so comfortable leaving Beau in his hands. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

Todd has been exceptional from the first time we contacted him. Responds immediately and looks after our girls like his own. Annie and Chloe are going to miss Todd when we move to WA, they get so excited when they see him and know they’re going for a walk that will tire them out!
