First time dog owner with 5 month old pup. We found Lisa to be very helpful and kind - she gave us advice on the best way to approach a first trip to the groomers. A bath and trim later, came home looking fabulous! Would definitely recommend and of course will be returning!

My Springer Spaniel and 2 Working Cockers have been groomed by Lisa for the last 10+ years. Lisa is friendly, helpful and professional, ensuring the grooming is as requested. Lisa has also looked after my dogs, they loved her and I knew they were safe with her. I'm gutted she moved from Gloucester to Cornwall but what a great place to be. I have come down to Cornwall on holiday and booked Mia in for grooming and really pleased with it. Always a great job.

It was the first time today for my two spaniels and Lisa was excellent. The boys came back out looking very handsome and the traditional spaniel cut with feathers was perfect. Lisa obviously loves her work and the boys looked happy and relaxed. I would thoroughly recommend Lisa and have already booked for their next appointment.

Lisa groomed our Fox Terrier today which was his first since we moved down to Cornwall some months ago. Seriously, we could not be happier. Lisa was helpful with advice and tips and the whole groom left Pippin looking absolutely amazing. A great groom at a very good price. What a treasure. Many thanks Lisa .

Lisa is such a helpful and lovely lady. I rang her just before Christmas to see if she could fit my two little Affenpinschers in for a trim. She was fully booked but said if there was a cancellation she would let me know. She did indeed let me know, never having trimmed the affenpinscher breed she researched and was ready when I arrived. Both the dogs looked brilliant after her treatment. They were very proud of themselves and had obviously been pampered. Cannot thank Blossoms pet grooming enough I am very happy to recommend.

Lisa is a brilliant groomer, she was so kind and gentle with our Spanish Water Dog Roger who has a very challenging coat to cut. Great communication and excellent value, would not hesitate to recommend her and we will go back and see her again without doubt.

Despite the sweltering heat Lisa has done a brilliant job on our Cockapoo. So glad we found her and she offers lots of other services for dogs. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Lisa 👏🤗

Lisa offers a fantastic and professional service. She looked after our two cats when we were on holiday (as one of them hated the cattery so much she always came back stressed). Everything with her cat sitting service was perfect, the cats didn't seem to of even missed us. I would highly recommend!

I have been taking my son's dog a Cavapoo called Lucy to Lisa for about 4 years. Lisa has always done a brilliant job and Lucy always comes home full of beans and acting like a puppy again. I have no hesitation in recommending Lisa to every dog owner who loves their dog and wants the best for them.

They are really well organised and when I collected my Jack Russell he was in no hurry to leave. I was really happy about this that he seemed so at home there. I just called the phone number on the website and they really worked around my needs. I also really appreciated receiving emails whilst on holiday letting me know that Bosco was fine and happy. Left our two spaniels here for a couple of days so we could visit local attractions. Very tired happy dogs when we picked them up. Highly recommended.

When Stella first started going to Paws and Play she was a very timid 12 week old pup. Over the last year and a half I have watched Stella's confidence grow and I have Michelle to thank for it! Stella absolutely loves going to paws and play, in fact she drags me to her front door every time i drop her off! Michelle takes them on such lovely walks and has been amazing the whole time, offering so much advice on how we can help Stella. I honestly couldn't recommend her enough!

I cannot recommend Paws and Play enough. My 18 month old Cocker Spaniel literally pulls on his lead to get into Michelle’s - he loves it! His recall isn’t 100% so Michelle puts him on a long lead and he gets the best walks!

My 1 year old boy lochi has been going to paws and play now since he was 8 weeks old. He absolutely loves going to doggy day care and Michelle is amazing with him and he loves her and all his dog friends! Michelle is always willing to go above and behond. Highly recommended!

Took our Lab for a day as we were visiting some non dog friendly places. When she went back the day after next she couldn't wait to run down the path and into the garden as she had such a good time. Videos of her having so much fun were amazing too

Michelle came recommended to us and I am so glad we found Her. We booked our dog in for a few daycare sessions before leaving him for 3 weeks with Michelle, while away on holiday .. He was well looked after and looked like he had so much fun with the other dogs. Regular videos of their walks so we could see how he was getting on. Will definitely use Paws and Play for future holidays .

Can not recommend Michelle at Paws and Play enough! My Boxer Oscar started going to go day care there when he was a 5 month old puppy. Every time we pick him up at the end of the day he doesn’t want to leave, he loves it there! When we finally manage to get him in the car and home he is a very tired boy. The videos Michelle posts on social media just shows how much fun the dogs have. We wanted Oscar to get well socialised as a puppy and Paws and Play has definitely done this. Thank you Michelle. Xx

We found Michelle to loving and caring with the dogs in her care, it was the first time we had left our girls and they really enjoyed their holiday with her. It was so nice to know that the girls were really well cared for. Lovely walks in the woods,on the beach and moors. It was lovely to have this peace of mind,would certainly use Paws and Play again , would certainly recommend Michelle.

Paws and play was recommended to me and I'm so glad it was. We had a meet & greet and then we boarded Willow for 2 nights whilst we went away, this was the first time as 8 months old. Whilst away I could see pictures and videos of Willow enjoying herself having fun with other dogs, this gave me great reassurance she was having a ball. Michelle was great and I felt very much at ease leaving Willow in her care, Willow can't wait yo go again.

When we received our rescue dog Beatrice back in February this year, Michelle welcomed her to her weekly routine of doggy day care! We seen Beatrice go from anxious dog to loving life at DDC. She helped Beatrice settle into life in the UK. Michelle and her experience is a must, if you are looking for some to help with your dogs behaviour.

We have recently boarded our 3 year old Miniature Labradoodle, Buddy with Michelle at Paws & Play, for just over a week. He quite obviously had a blast! The walks that Michelle takes the dogs on are varied & lovely, even the ones in the pouring rain! 😀 When we have been away before & have had to put Buddy into kennels we have always spent the time away worrying about him. But, this time, although we missed him, none of us worried about him at all, because we knew he was in good hands. It also helps that Michelle posts videos and pictures on Facebook (if you have given consent for your dog's photo to be taken) so you can log on & see all the fun your dog has been having. The dogs that Michelle boards all have free reign into the garden, go on some fantastic walks & are not caged. Michelle is very experienced & knowledgeable & it is very clear that she has a lot of time & love for all of the dogs that are in her care. I would thoroughly recommend Michelle & Paws & Play to anyone considering boarding their dog & will most definitely be asking to board Buddy there again.

I have just picked up my two Russian dwarf hamsters Willow and Peach after a weeks stay with Helen and her family and would highly recommend her for pet sitting. She went out of her way to make sure that my hamsters were well looked after and reassured me they were ok with updates when I needed them. They have both loved their stay with her and were very happy to be in her care. When we next go away on holiday I will definitely be using Helen again.

I was over the moon to hear about Doggies Day Out. I left my puppy Wilson with them while I went away for a week and I couldn't have asked for better care for him. To go away and know your dog is being treated like one of the family allowed me to relax and enjoy myself knowing that he was having a great time too. I would not hesitate in recommending Helen and her understanding, caring nature. Wilson loved her - I think he would have liked to stay for a second week!

We left our puppy Kobe with Helen for 4 nights and he was looked after superbly! We had regular texts and photos while we were away to keep us assured he was okay. Kobe was sick and had medicine which was no problem for Helen and she was very helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Helen and her family take such good care of our Bailey. When we return, she is always out playing in the garden, happy as a lark. We feel so relaxed, knowing that our very active puppy is being so well cared for. They are a lovely family and very relaxed and you could not ask for more competent, reliable care. Bailey is smitten with their dog Toby. We feel very lucky to have found them!

My two rabbits enjoyed their stay with Helen and family. They were given a safe and caring environment to have their bunny holiday, and I would recommend Ginger and Saffron for small animal boarding. The rabbits will definitely stay with you again. Many thanks!!

Helen looked after my tortoise when we went away for the weekend, as we live close by she was able to pop round to feed him and check his welfare. We returned to a happy, contented pet who had been very well cared for. Highly recommended, thank you Helan.

My 2 dogs stayed from Thursday to Sunday dogs settled in very well. Was given the opportunity to come around before and see around. I felt totally reassured as soon as I seen the other dogs there having a great time. 100% recommend!

Ike had a lovely time with the other dogs. Steve and Helen were great hosts and were very flexible, fitting in with our holiday arrangements. Would recommend strongly.

How lovely to find a lovely holiday home for our Teddy, as our other cares had retired we thought no more holidays but Helen and her family are so caring, no worries Teddy lived as one of the family as every need is catered for, he loved the company of the family dogs., a health farm for dogs. thank you Lorna and Mark

We were really nervous about leaving our pups on their own while we went away. But Wetherham Boarding Kennels were brilliant our dogs loved every minute of being there and they were cared for brilliantly. Safe to say we will definitely be using these Boarding Kennels again. Everyone was very friendly. Our dog has just spent his 1st week at the kennels. It was so nice seeing pictures of Benji on there website. We felt very happy leaving him there. We were recommended to use Wetherham by a friend who has been using them for her dogs for a while. We haven't used their services yet but we are booked in to trial run our pup with the hopes of her having a doggy holiday later in the year. Wetherham we're fantastic at answering any questions we had, made us feel comfortable with leaving our girl with them and encouraged a trial run for her. Our girl is a rescue who suffers from separation anxiety and when I have contacted other kennels we were not given the level of care and empathy we received from Wetherham. The staff member I spoke to and met with was fantastic and very knowledgeable in her field and had a good giggle about our slobbery girl. We very much look forward to hearing all about our girls adventure with Wetherham and would highly recommend them to anyone needing to use their services.

I cannot recommend Wetherham enough. Our 22 month old Springer Spaniel, Indy, had never stayed in kennels before and a friend told us about this place, as she happily boarded her dog there. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, Indy was made to feel at ease and comfortable, and the level of care and attention is outstanding. A wonderful, rural location, small and well run. Indy absolutely loved running around the large fields, as we could tell from the fb photos posted, which made us smile when we saw them! Thank you so much to Wetherham for looking after Indy so well, and we will definitely use them again!

We have used Wetherham Boarding Kennels a few times in the past with no complaints at all. We were really happy with the services provided. We have also recommended them to others. However, we had booked our dog in for a few days as we were due to attend a family wedding up country. The week before our booked dates, my wife's 28 year old brother, passed away unexpectedly from a suspected blood clot. We got in touch with the kennels to explain the situation and to see if it was possible to swap the dates, so we could have our dog looked after while we went up to be with family. Unfortunately, they didn't have the availability, which is fair enough. So we asked if under the circumstances, they would be kind enough to refund us our deposit as the £44, would go towards our petrol of getting upto family, so we could all be together at this difficult time. This is the entire email response we received from Wetherham kennels: "Amy and Lauren If I can rebook, I can refund, we don't normally. Sorry not to be more helpful. Best Fredi" We understand that this is a business, however we hoped that they might show a bit of compassion considering the extreme situation, we have found ourselves in. My wife, who is a local dog walker, will no longer be recommending Wetherham Boarding Kennels to her clients, nor will we use there services in the future. ***EDIT: 28th September.*** Once this review was posted, we did get another email from Wetherham Boarding Kennels, offering a refund if we give our bank details, which we appreciate. Once this was done, we got a response saying: "Can you remove your review please 🙏 " However, we believe this review still stands.

Lovely staff and my dog came home happy and healthy.

First time my dog has stayed in kennels. But wont be the last. They have taken such great care of her. Shes in excellent condition and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Westerham to any of my dog friends. Kind and caring team. Put the dogs first. Thank you girls for allowing me to have a worry free holiday.

Would not hesitate to recommend this kennels. Have never used kennels and never thought I would. However was persuaded by a friend to visit Wetherham as after booking 3 weeks away then found ourselves with two dogs. They have not lived the life of a domestic animal,have had little socialisation and have poor eating habits which only added to our anxieties over leaving them. Fredi (the owner) listened to our predicament and suggested an overnight trial which proved successful, this was followed by a two night stay and we have just collected them from just over a 3 weeks stay. They are really happy and appear to have enjoyed their stay, in fact they seem like much more rounded dogs. Nothing has been too much trouble at the kennels. To prevent a reccurence of colitis, they only fed them with the food we provided and even fed one by hand when she was off her food! They have a large enclosed field where the dogs can run, the kennels are large (ours shared but still plenty of room), the facilities are purpose built and clean. Most importantly the dogs are shown affection and the photos we were sent whilst away help to put your mind at rest. Fredi and Jo are highly qualified and professional, everyone is warm and friendly and we have complete faith in them caring for our dogs in the future.

Sonic, my 15 year old choc lab has been staying at Wetherham for about 12 years, at least 3 times a year and I cannot speak highly enough of Fredi and her wonderful team. During January, 2 days into our fortnight holiday in US, she unexpectedly became very ill, and initially it was thought to be a stroke. Fredi informed me immediately and her husband took Sonic to our vet in Bodmin. The next few days were very difficult but we were sent regular updates, texts, photos and videos of her progress. Initially Sonic was unable to stand or lift her head and required a lot of individual attention which the carers gave her in heaps. This was a dog owners worst nightmare, but upon return I collected a calm, happy dog who was walking and eating well and actually seemed reluctant to leave Wetherham! She was continued to make progress at home and I would not hesitate to recommend these kennels in the highest possible manner for the love and attention they give to every single dog in their care

Lisa and the team are amazing - they genuinely care and love the dogs as if they are their own and always have the dog’s best interests at the forefront of everything they do. I always feel at ease knowing that my dog is in good hands, surrounded by people who genuinely care about his well-being and happiness. My dog has been attending since she was a puppy and loves it - displayed in how she greets members of the team. They are such a lovely group of people and are so very friendly and flexible in their approach - always helpful and endeavouring to accommodate everyone's needs. I know she is having the time of his life at day care, playing and being well looked after. After a fun and exhausting day at Park-your-Paws, she’s out for the count for the rest of the evening, as seen in the photo. Thank you

Park Your Paws is a fantastic doggy daycare. Our rescue dog has been going there for 3 years now and we wouldn’t feel happy with him going anywhere else. We were nervous at the start as we weren’t sure how he would cope with being around lots of dogs as he was still a puppy, but we needn’t have worried. Lisa, Amy and all the team are absolutely fabulous and made us feel reassured from day one at his trial. He loves going to Park Your Paws and we can happily drop him off in the morning knowing that he is in safe hands and will have a brilliant time with all his friends whilst we are at work. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Park your Paws dog day care to all my friends. Lisa and her team are always welcoming and attentive when we drop him in and you can tell they really care about all the dogs they look after. They are really flexible with drop off and pick up times which is a real benefit as found other places used when living elsewhere required pre-booking. He always comes away from there happy after spending the day playing with all the other dogs. The indoor facility is perfect for dogs and the huge yard for them to run around in is great!!

We’ve been bringing dogs to Park your Paws for several years and they’ve always been brilliant. We have one large dog and two small ones. When we brought our youngest (then a puppy) I loved how much care they took about introducing him to the other dogs and keeping an eye on him. Fortunately he took to day care like a duck to water and all three have many happy days there. Lisa and the team are all great and would highly recommend.

We would absolutely recommend Park your Paws for anyone looking for daycare or home boarding. Having bought our sprollie to day care since he was only a few months old Lisa and the team have been brilliant with him! He is a high energy dog and comes home absolutely knackered every time having had the best time! His social skills have hugely improved since attending as-well. We love seeing the daily photos of him and the dogs having fun on the Facebook page and is always the highlight of my working day checking in on it to see how he’s getting on! We have also had experience with the home boarding side and genuinely wouldn’t want him to go anywhere else he loves being there and they look after him so well. My dog has been coming to park your paws for 3 years now he absolutely adores both the area and all the staff! He does regular daycare and boarding and I wouldn’t trust anyone but Lisa and her team with him! He would rather stay at daycare than come home says it all ❤️ very appreciative of all the amazing services the team offer we wouldn’t be able to day trip or have weekends away without them! We love you and rolo loves you all 💞🥰

Our puppy loves it here so much..it's so reassuring knowing he is happy. He runs in everyday to see his big doggy mates. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Love catching up with the photos on Facebook in the evening of what the dogs have been up to that day. So happy we found such a great place for a pup and for us. Thank you

We use both the day care and boarding services at Park-your-paws and our dog is always happy to stay and well looked after. The care provided is excellent and there are no jail-like cages used. Lisa and her team do a fantastic job.

Our pooch has been going to Park your paws daycare for about a year now and loves it...she is always shattered after her day of fun! Great staff and so easy and convenient to book! She has also been for boarding, always so helpful and great to see the daily photos on social media.

Yesterday we left a review which we hoped would shed some light on some of the potential issues that could be faced by a not overly confident dog and hopefully the day care would take this on board and see it as a chance to improve their service to cater for everyone. As when it comes to dogs it’s never a one size fits all scenario. Following this we received an unprofessional phone call asking us to REMOVE OUR REVIEW. Clearly this shows that all they care about is positive reviews rather than taking on board anything that was said. Their response stated that they have so many dogs each month that they can’t possibly remember every dog’s information which raises the question, why do they ask for a registration form to be completed if they’re not going to use it for reference when a new dog comes into their day care? For all they knew, the registration form could have said “Aggressive and will bite” but they wouldn’t have checked the form and would have let them in with 20 other dogs anyway. On their website they state: “We vet each dog to ensure that they will be a happy addition to our family. Each dog is assessed for social skills, aggression and flight instinct, and most importantly, to see if they want to be a part of our family. We consider whether your dog is right for the environment and whether the environment is right for your dog.” So, when they asked if we should have done more research, we very much put our trust in their process of assessing our pup. As their website says “Trust is everything when it comes to leaving a valued member of your family with us. We have created a safe, loving and fun environment for your dog to enjoy spending time with us giving you total peace of mind.” And we can safely say they lost our trust. We are only trying to make people aware of the environment so they can see if it is the best fit for their dog, and we don’t want other people to make the same mistake we did so we will keep our review up to allow other dog owners to make their own minds up based on all positive and negative reviews from other experiences.

Rachel is absolutely amazing, she's looked after our pup poppy numerous times while my partner has been in hospital. To recommend Rachel totally, all I can say is poppy wants to go and say hello everytime we pass rachel's. Poppy has even spotted rachel's van in the village and gone and sat by her drivers door and not wanted to move till she saw Rachel.

Cannot recommend Rachel more highly. She is dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly. Our rescue springer Walter has benefited from spending time with Rachel and the gang and we always feel happy leaving Walter with Rachel.....he has so much fun we often wonder if he'll want to come home!

Our dog Max spent a wonderful week at Yeovale Kennels. He was well looked after and was a very Happy little boy when I collected him. It was wonderful to see photos on the website of Max enjoying his playtime with the other dogs which put our minds at rest whilst we were away. I don't think he missed us much! My Jess spent another wonderful holiday at Yeovale last week, this was her third visit. She has a wonderful time playing and running around and making friends. The way the dogs are treated is so caring . I now feel at ease when I leave my girl behind in such capable and loving hands. Thank you to Jude and Andy.

Absolutely amazing and personalised care of my two dogs. The dogs have lots of exercise and socialisation time which in turn eases the anxiety of the separation from their owners. My young collie 'Ted' had an amazing time making new friends and playing around having fun. I did have worries about my 12 year old spaniel as she had never been in kennels. I shouldn't have worried, again she had plenty of exercise doing her own thing, usually following Jude around looking for cuddles. The establishment is quiet with no barking, this only says one thing! that the dogs are happy. Thank you Jude and Andy for providing a high level of care!
