Paul and Alison immediately made me feel welcome in their beautiful home and Monty is a delight. I appreciated us all going for a walk together before Paul and Alison left, showing me some of their favourite walks. Monty is extremely well behaved on his lead and we enjoyed exploring some of the many footpaths directly from the door. There is an excellent farm shop only a few minutes walk away which welcomed Monty. There is also a cafe and a pub, all dog friendly. A great sit, thoroughly recommended. We really enjoyed taking care of Archie & Loki. They were both so friendly from the start. Archie can be a character with his ball, hiding it sort of and letting you know to come get it, sort of reverse fetch! Archie loved his short walks and relaxing at home too. Loki came and went as he pleased. Such a love bug and made sure you knew when it was treat time. Jan and Pete are wonderful hosts. Pete took us around town in the car and to get groceries since it was raining when we got there. Jan made sure we had all the essentials for our sit. Goodies to eat and the guest bed and pillows were so comfortable! We made some fresh orange juice and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Great communication with them during the sit too. They have wonderful neighbours, quite a few stopped to say hello while on our walks with Archie and offers of help if we needed anything while we were there... one stopped by for an offer to come to lunch and another came by to check out a small issue with Archies' paw. They honestly live in such a friendly community. Great walks to town and to the Ermita. Supermarket is about a 12 minute walk, along with some restaurants which we intended to go to but didn't get the chance so we will have to come back when we get a chance! Thank you for choosing us as your first sitters!
We have nothing but good things to say about our stay! The house is lovely, Jane and her husband were very kind, and Tangle and Rumpus were absolutely fantastic. We would happily come back anytime!
Jim and Ann are the most generous hosts you can imagine. uncomplicated, flexible, and very good communication. We had a nice guest room with a bathroom and the large kitchen that provided everything imaginable for us to cook our meals. The house is in a great gated community, a 5 minute walk to a pool and gym, 5 minute drive to shops, 15 minute drive to the beach which, by the way, is absolutely worth seeing, beautiful and almost no people there. Remmi and Bella are easy to deal with, Remmi is very sociable and cuddly. He is a true gentleman and always lets Bella go first, even when eating. Bella is a very dear princess, she prefers to be alone. You don't see her very often, but she often watches you from a hidden place and both cats drop by every once in a while when you're working at your desk. By the way, the WIFI is very good. We had a wonderful time at Vero Beach, a beautiful place with lovely people. Thanks Jim and Ann for everything, we would take care of your house and the two furry friends again at any time. 100% recommendation
Michelle's is super friendly, and my stay their was amazing. Both Milo and Murphy are super friendly dogs who love their pats and cuddles.The fish are super easy to take care of as well. The house had everything I needed, and the shops were just around the corner. My time here was really good, and I enjoyed my walks with the dogs through Springwater Park, which is beautiful.
The experience was absolutely great......... Beautiful comfortable home with Ivy as the highlight. She is the most adorable girl with loads of love to give. We had fantastic times on the beach with her and she is great with furry friends. The location is perfect in beautiful countryside with a big secure garden. Ivy pottered about safely with the back door open. The whole experience was a privilege. Thank you.
