I can’t thank Rhia enough for that she took the initiative to meet us in person well ahead of the actual sitting period. We were planning our vacation out of UK for around 1.5 weeks and had to make the toughest decision to leave our lovely cat Grubcio alone. The thought of keeping him alone was itself nerve-wrecking for us. On top of that, our cat is diabetic and requires constant care and medication in the form of injections. Rhia stepped in at the very last minute and rescued us from all our worries. We touched base ahead of the sit and Rhia genuinely made us felt that she is the one who can rescue us from sleepless night. She quickly got familiar with Grubcio’s medication schedule and befriended Grubcio in no time. During our absence, Grubcio got his medication every day which was really important. One thing that I really liked is that Rhia was kind and diligent enough to keep a constant touch and never hesitated to contact us. Rhia indeed provided a very dedicated and proper diabetic care for our cat. All sugar level checks and insulin injections as well as other medications were given on time. Communication was great throughout with lots of jolly photos and videos. I must add that Rhia is a very thoughtful and responsible house sitter and we couldn’t have asked for a more better experience.
Apuka & Abby had a blast with Laura! Laura sent regular updates, daily photos, and got the dogs good and tired. She even caught Abby while she was trying to escape and stopped her. Her background in having dogs and fostering pets made me feel at ease to choose her. Her active lifestyle also helped keep the pups tired, stimulated, and happy. She reached out when the hot water heater stopped working (sorry!) and was able to reset it with our guidance. We came home to a tidy house, mail on the counter, clean sheets, and two happy dogs. I would recommend Laura in a heartbeat.
