Was reliable, self sufficient, and attentive to our dog. Took good care of the house and dealt thoughtfully with an internet outage.
We had a great time at Laura's home with Kayda and Bailey. The house was clean and there was everything we needed. Also, it was easy to reach out to Laura, she answered all the questions we had, she wrote down all the information for the dogs care and she also gave us recommendations about places to go around. Kayda and Bailey are very friendly and nice, and we really enjoyed spending time with them. Kayda can be reactive with some other dogs (mostly barking), but by paying attention and giving treats, everything is fine with her. At home, they are calm and just want to be around you. We recommend for sure!
I had a wonderful time housesitting for Chalmer and Billy. Both dogs are rescues from Romania and are a pleasure to work with. Both Martin and Rachel opened their beautiful home to me and provided a comfortable double bedroom in their spacious guest bedroom. They are both seasoned TH users and left a plethora of useful tips and notes around their home including a homemade info pack with information about the dogs and the local area. A thoroughly enjoyable experience with some fab new friends on 4 legs! Phil
What a wonderful stay on Orcas Island! Two cool cats, a beautiful view and perfect weather. You will have to take a ferry but don’t worry, we went on a holiday week and Paul has connections to make sure you get a reservation. The ferry ride was a highlight with great views of the San Juan Islands. On the day we arrived, we joined Paul and Tammy for a concert in the nearby park. They hosted an afterparty for the band and invited us to join them. What fun that was meeting those talented people and their friends. Adele and Hank are very friendly. Adele has a wonderful purr and she loves to knead on you to show her appreciation. Hank will come in very early in the morning to cuddle up and sleep with you. We spent most evenings enjoying the pleasant weather outside with sunsets to die for. Bring your bikes because it is a nice quick trip into town. Eastsound is small, but has some really nice stores and great restaurants.
It was a very good experience, we really enjoyed the city and Klaus, the house is very spacious located in a very quiet suburb. Lynne and Mike were very generous and friendly to us, we felt very comfortable
Maddison and Mac welcomed us upon our arrival, Maddison showed us around and made sure that we were happy with the welcome guide etc., Maddison’s apartment was super clean, comfortable making it an very enjoyable stay. Bruni & Prue were loving cats once they felt comfortable around you, wanting lots of pets and cuddles, especially Prue! The location of Columbia Heights was great, a ten minute walk to the train station, a five minute walk to the bus station, fifteen minute walk to the Zoo, plenty of restaurants and supermarkets close by as well. Thank you Maddison and Mac for our time spent caring for your home and pets, it was our pleasure and we would highly recommend this house sit to anyone. We would definitely house sit here again.
Leo is a cuddly and energetic dog and I already miss him! He loved the walks we took together near the water and at home he followed me around to see what I was doing (very cute). The area is close to the main station and all the public transport, it's very easy if you want to go outside and explore!
