These are great cats- very fun, social, and sweet to be around! It is a beautiful lake house in a quiet area, with lots to do nearby. Owners were very helpful, left clear instructions and communicated well.
Adam & Lydia have a beautiful home, and a lovely dog in Molly, it was an absolute pleasure to dog-sit for them. Their communication was always friendly and concise and I felt very well prepared, supported and welcomed into their home. Their house is stylish and comfortable and the loft bedroom is like a little boutique hotel room. The neighbourhood is very accessible to public transport, and dog parks and felt very safe. Molly was understandably a little anxious the first few days, and barked on occasion at night, but soon settled down and we had such a lovely time together. She's playful and very smart, so loves toys, chasing the ball, and stimulation. She's absolutely gorgeous, so we made lots of friends on our walks, she walks very well off the lead, and is a great brunch companion. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the week in Putney with Molly, I felt right at home. I look forward to the next time.
My sit at Joanna‘s was spectacular! She has a beautiful home and stunning yard. The whole neighborhood is just so peaceful. Roxy, Raven and Ziggy are so fun and easy. They can move freely in the yard and it made me so happy to be with cats who can go outdoors and roam. You can walk Roxy right in the neighborhood (it’s hilly and a great workout) or within a few minutes drive there are various regional parks that transport you to a different world. Raven and Ziggy are probably the most elegant cats I’ve seen. Black panthers with long legs and athletic bodies. Now Roxy just stole my heart! She has this wise human quality and she’s such a cuddle bug! ? Finally the bedroom feels like a 5 star hotel. I haven’t slept this well in years. You can leave the slider open to the yard for fresh air, they have a weighted blanket and great mattress. If you are lucky you’ll also get some pet snuggles to top it off. Amen
I loved looking after Killian, he is an adorable soul who will give you so much love and fill your days with happiness. Colleen's flat in the Paddington area is really comfortable and the location was absolutely perfect to reach anywhere in London. Colleen was really warm and responsive, communication was very easy and reliable. I absolutely recommend this housesit!
We had an amazing experience with Atlanta! She cuddled with us every night. She loves to play, loves to chat (if you meow at her, she will meow back!), and loves to snuggle. She is very well-behaved and sits on the balcony like a princess, guarding the house when the sun is shining. We really loved being with her and she provided us with such wonderful company during our time in Gümlingen. We missed her right when we left from the train and hope to see her again soon! Nick and Thea were incredibly kind welcomed us to their flat with open arms. Nick was gracious enough to meet us at the train station to make sure we arrived well. We spent the morning of our arrival with Nick, Thea, and their son. Each of them made us feel very welcome and ensured we were well-informed about caring for Atlanta, caring for the house, and details of the area. They were communicative while they were away and the neighbors were also very friendly and open to helping us if we needed it. We felt very secure during our stay and more well taken care of than I could have imagined It goes without mentioning, the area is also really amazing. I didn’t realize how close to Bern we actually were with the incredible mountain views and natural landscapes. I only realized how close we were to the city when it only took us about 20 minutes to get to Bern via tram, and not much longer by bike (which Nick and Thea were kind enough to also share with us!) We couldn’t be more grateful for the experience we had during this housesit. We sincerely hope we will be lucky enough to cross paths with you all and Atlanta in the near future :) thank you for everything.
I am sorry to say I am very late in sharing what a wonderful time we had in Goadby. Jane and Charles were very kind and easy to communicate too. We enjoyed dinner with them and lunch before they left. Their beautiful house on the hill with views of green fields in every direction is a walkers delight. I sat and enjoyed watching all the birds just outside the dinning window. It is a small village with and 12th century church and very kind neighbors. We drove to a small village everyday and had a pub lunch and they were all great and full of friendly people. I can say that their dear Bonnie has won my heart over in the first few minutes and she was one of the most sweet natured dogs I have ever met. It was very hard to leave her. Jane told neighbors and mailman and many others we were coming so it seemed everyone knew us. Thank you for a most delightful housesit. We would return anytime.
