Ann
It was a pleasure to sit at Ann’s home and take care of little sweet Josie who was very easy to take care of …I enjoyed the time we spent together and the many walks we had together as Josie was leading the way walking me more than I was walking her! She knew exactly where she wanted to go in her neighborhood and on the lovely trail just besides her home. It was equally lovely to meet with Ann who is a very kind and generous person … the instructions were clear and communication easy… Ann’s home was very comfortable in a quiet and friendly neighborhood close to everything including a great cycle and walking trail, the beaches and all… I would return to sit at Ann’s if the opportunity presents itself so I can spend more time with lovely little Josie!

Helen
I have to thank Helen/Rob for letting me pet sit in their really nice house. It is an old house but in perfect condition with mouldings on ceiling and other touches from yester year. The house is in a perfect position with a large river at the bottom of their plot and wonderful walks in nearby country roads.
I really enjoyed most taking Peggy the well behaved dog for walks to explore these country roads. The two cats Tiki and Meg are no trouble and stay indoors. It was a very thoughtful of Helen/Rob leaving food out for my breakfast. I would certainly do pet sit again if asked.
Thanks for everything

Louise
It was an absolute delight to stay in Louise's stylish and comfortable home in the company of gorgeous, lively and funny pup Bertie and wise older gentleman cat, Ping. The 11 days flew by and I'm already missing those 2 characters. Louise and her family are friendly, generous and very hospitable - ideal hosts. I feel very grateful to have had the opportunity to meet them all and would highly recommend this housesit.

Joanne
Joanne and Tim are really lovely people and were so welcoming. They picked me up from the train station and kindly offered me lunch, before showing me around their home. There were a few things about the house and the cat's routine that were new to me, but Joanne and Tim provided clear demonstrations and explanations, so I found everything very straightforward and easy to follow. Joanne also provided a helpful welcome pack in advance of the sit which contained all the necessary information and was handy to refer back to. I also felt comforted knowing they were on hand over WhatsApp and happy to answer any questions throughout the sit if needed.

Looking after the cats Gordon and Henry was trouble free, and they were friendly, gentle and affectionate right from the start. I found Gordon to be a bit more reserved than Henry, but both cats really love head rubs, playing with their toys, and snuggling on your lap in the evening. There were even times when both cats attempted to sit on my lap (which was very cute) but sadly there was only room for one!

The house was super comfortable and has a beautiful garden. Part of the house dates back to the 15th Century (I think?), which makes it the oldest house I've ever stayed in, and all the period features and fascinating quirks were a real treat! Saffron Walden is a lovely market town with many interesting historical buildings and I had a wonderful time walking around it. I also really enjoyed wandering through the stunning Bridge End Gardens in the centre of town. Also a short walk from the house is an art gallery, museum, lots of charity shops, and cafes and restaurants. Further afield (but still accessible without a car) there are several other great places to explore including Cambridge and Audley End House.

Julie
Maggie and Stanlee were an absolute delight to look after, we had such a good time with these two! Great fun on the beautiful Arrowtown trail walks and cuddles in front of the fireplace in the evenings.

Julie was also great, welcoming us into her home, explaining everything really clearly in the welcome guide and letting us meet Maggie and Stan before the sit started. Julie’s home is also beautiful and Arrowtown is such a nice place to stay.

We’d happily sit again! 😊
