Robert and Florence were very sweet people who I was happy to have in our home and care for our babies. On our return the house was very clean and the pups were happy. We were both flexible with the leave date since our schedule had actually changed and with good clear communication, they were able to leave a few days early and we enjoyed a few extra days on vacation.
Bao and Zelda were great company, funny and cute. Bao took her time, a day to get really comfortable with us, after that she was adorable, likes having her ears rubbed. Fernando is super communicative and quick to reply to any questions over WhatsApp. The park just across the road is very nice and handy for walkies. With the big quiet shared private garden behind the house to enjoy, perfecto! The house is very comfortable, plenty of shops nearby. All in all a wonderful pet sit!
Polly is such a generous, friendly and thoughtful host. I was made to feel more than welcome and I got to spend the most beautiful cosy relaxing few days over xmas with her adorable cat Monkey. Amongst various kind gestures, Polly even left me xmas presents under her beautiful Christmas tree for me to open on xmas day. Polly really is the kindest host. Polly's house is spacious, beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. Very convenient with few supermarket and shopping options nearby. Some very nice places for walks nearby too. Lastly but definitely not the least, Monkey (I miss her) is gorgeous.. shy but also very friendly and loves being adored, she purrs very much to let you know :) Thank you Polly again for the brilliant time. I would whole-heartedly recommend this sit.
We had a lovely Easter break with the charming Mogul & Louella. They are quite independent cats and spent long stretches outside exploring their beautiful surrounds. It was fun to watch them from the house & they'd continue to drop-by for a hello, head scratch and/or food throughout the day. Mogul also loved an afternoon nap in the kitchen. They would chill with us in the evenings. Mogul & Louella were sweet, affectionate and easygoing. We enjoyed getting to know them during our stay. Helen's house is beautiful. We felt very lucky to enjoy the Easter weekend here - close enough to walk to town, shops, train station but also felt secluded and quiet. We loved having the indoor pool too. Helen made us feel right at home. She left us a delicious dinner, wine and treats which was wonderful and much appreciated. Thanks again Helen. We would love to come back!
Absolutely lovely home in the woods with loving pets
It was an absolute pleasure to look after Chilli and Pepper. Chilli is hilarious & kept us giggling throughout the stay, not to mention she’s absolutely gorgeous. Pepper was great company too. Sarah & Serge are lovely people & their home is just stunning. Communication was easy & they made us feel really welcome. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Barnes is a fabulous part of London easy transport links into the centre etc. We’d jump at the chance to return, this has been one of our favourite sits. Thank you S&S! 😊
My partner and I had a lovely stay at Claire's house. Claire communicated very well before the sit and we communicated a couple of times on the sit. The dogs were brilliant! Very well behaved, loving and obedient. A few walks a day around the garden and also onto the farmland which is right beside the garden. It also is very very quiet were the house is, and we loved that as we are city dwellers so we enjoyed the peace and a slower pace of life. The house is comfortable, clean and homey. Very spacious , as was the big bed that we loved. We also loved throwing the logs on the wood burner in the evening as we settled down to watch some tv , with the dogs happily curled up bedside us. The dogs know the drill come the end of the night that they go in their crates in the room just off the kitchen. I would get up just after 7 am to let them out to do their business, and then feed them later on. Graeme would attend to the chickens later on on the morning. Graeme and I recommend this housesit and would happily do it again. Thank you Claire and Alex for trusting us with Chewy and Gus and your beautiful home.

I have used Jessica and Emily for over a year for care for our two dogs. They are easy to get ahold of and prompt with replies when I have last minute changes or requests. We recently used Boulevard Bark for the first time, for a three week vacation out of the country. We chose the extended overnight option for our 2 large dogs and 2 cats, pet sitting from 3pm to 8am the following morning. It was a great fit. We received daily photos and updates on all our animals, which allowed us to focus on our trip. We greatly appreciated both their professionalism and affordability. This family-operated group of animal lovers is simple the best. They amazing care of my furry monsters, and both my cat and dog seem more mellow when I return than they have with past sitters. My dog is a bit of a handful (super reactive to other animals), but sweet and I trust them to handle her. They even have a vet tech on staff! They've also managed to help me last minute when my pup caught a rotovirus and couldn't stay home all day while I worked. They are professional, trustworthy, and lovely in general. The best thing about Puget Hounds is that my dearest dog, Jake, loves to go there. He gets his hugs and love from the lovely people who work there. He has his regular dog friends. It is a second home to him. He is safe, he is fed to my directions. It is a great place for a dog and a great business to work with for a dog’s owner.
My dog Mady seems to love all of your staff. I believe that he has a good time playing with the other dogs. I was so impressed with Amber on your staff. I am handicapped and I was fearful that my dog could get out when someone opened the front dog if he was not tight on his leash. Amber helped me put his leash and harness on. She was so thoughtful and kind. Mady is only ten months old. He is a lot for me to handle with my osteoarthritis, but no one could love him more dearly and give him a better home than me. He needs the socialization at Puget Hound that I cannot give him at home.
Earlier this year we got our pup Luna signed up. She loves going to daycare! She has made great friends and it always excited when we drop her off. She comes home tired from a day full of play. The staff are very friendly.

It was unnerving sending my fur-baby off to daycare for the first time, but the staff at Puget Hound have been very responsive to any questions or concerns that come up. Abby did our initial questionnaire for his temperament test and was super reassuring throughout the process (this helped me feel like he was in good hands!) Bandit has been going to Puget for over two years now. Not only does it give him an opportunity to run and play all day, it gives him time to interact with the other pups, which is a good thing for him. The staff are great. They clean him up on the wet days, and the always have him ready when it's time to go home. Having him somewhere that they show they care about him as much as we do is important.
Puget hound has been such a god send for me! I work from home and am always looking for an opportunity to get my little Rosie the chance to play while I’m typing away. My dog Monty absolutely loves it here! He can't wait to go "play with doggies" as I tell him! The staff is so helpful, attentive, and really love the dogs, and you can really tell the dogs are having fun too. I love that he gets indoor and outdoor play time and comes home tired at the end of the day. I haven't used their boarding yet, but I would feel totally safe leaving Monty with The Puget Hound for any length of time. As a very protective dog parent, having someplace that I can safely leave my pup for the day while I run errands, work, or do whatever needs to be done is priceless. I'm so happy I found Puget Hound and recommend them to anyone!!

I searched high and low for a place like this for my fur babies. I usually take my dogs everywhere with me , but sadly can’t take them to Hawaii. I didn’t want to leave them just anywhere and wanted my girls to feel comfortable and loved. This place is like a home away from home. They had room to run, multiple walks and loved on. Kortney sent me photos of my girls and knew they were in great hands. I will definitely be taking my girls back knowing they are well taken care of. Skagit Canine Club was wonderful! The facility and grounds are beautiful! This was our first time kenneling our pup, Cinder, and Kortney and her crew did an excellent job caring for her. The kennel facility is first class! Beautiful sleeping quarters, stalls for daytime play and indoor arena for off leash play plus daily walks on their property. Kortney texted us daily with pictures and updates, which put us at ease so we could enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in good hands. When we picked up Cinder she was clean, exercised and happy. We couldn’t have asked for a better kennel stay! We’ll be back!
I am an extremely picky parent- I usually take my babies with me everywhere, So when I can’t bring them with, I am extremely decisive about where I bring them. I could not recommend Skagit Canine Club more!! Having a high energy dog, I was thrilled to be able to add on the athlete package and lick mat and stuffed kongs for my baby while I was gone. I received pictures of my baby, roaming the woods on walks and got the cutest report card at the end with all the details of his visits throughout the day. The owner was absolutely amazing and every detail from start to finish is so thought out. They also just installed brand new 20 foot run to give the puppies more space to play and my dog absolutely loved it! DEFINITELY recommend for your fur baby!!
Can’t express enough how big of relief it is to have found Skagit Canine Club. Our dogs use to travel everywhere with us but due to our shepherd, Glacier having had multiple knee surgeries it is just too much for her and her older age anxiety to do so with us and a toddler these days. I assumed they would be taken care of but to see just how happy they were there the whole time was amazing! Not sure they even cared to come home they loved it so much! Thank you Kortney!! 🩵 🐾
My insecure dog felt so comfortable at Skagit Canine Club that she did not scratch up the door or woodwork! I dropped her off at 4:30 pm for a trial night. Kortney immediately greeted us and took Odee for a long walk on the property while I anxiously drove away. Kortney sent photos three times before the 10:00 am pick up the next day. When I returned home, I noticed Kourtney even filled out a "report card" to inform me about the overnight stay. I'm so relieved that Odee got along so well because I've booked two more stays for out of town trips without the dog.
I have had my dog for 3 years and I have never found a boarding spot I felt comfortable leaving my dog. I stumbled upon Skagit Canine Club and became instantly obsessed just from the tour. Now after having Tovee stay for 5 days, I cannot say enough good things. I got updates on her while I was gone, photos, and even the cutest report card of her stay when I picked her up today. I own a 9 year old boxer and a 3 year old border collie, and both of them have had very limited experience outside our farm. So I was a bit worried about how they would do for 5 days away from home. Freya is also quite timid and very peculiar when eating. As soon as I saw the place, I knew my dogs would do great. There is a huge arena to run around and play, very clean dog bedrooms, and great outdoors to explore. Kortney is like a dog whisperer, and both my dogs seemed very relaxed as soon as I handed them over to her. She spent time giving them physical and mental stimulation, with hide and seek for treats and walks in the woods. She sent us pictures and video with updates to let us see that the pups were doing great with their new experiences. You can tell right away by how your dogs act when you pick them up, if they had a good or bad experience. My dogs were happy and relaxed! We will bring the dogs again when we leave. I'm so happy I can go on vacation and know they are in great hands!
Our boy Brody (age 9) had his first overnight stay and he seemed to love it! Kortney sent us photos several times during his stay to keep us updated and it really put our minds at ease. The facility is clean and well kept and you can see the care she puts into it. We’ve already put in our reservations for Brody next visit and I know he’ll be so excited as soon as we pull onto the grounds. We appreciate the care and attention he received there!
Skagit Canine Club came highly recommended by a trusted friend, and we are so glad we listened! We've had two fantastic experiences with Kortney. Our pup was a little young but Kortney accommodated him, and both dogs had a blast. It can be a bit nerve-wracking to leave beloved pets with a stranger, but Kortney exceeded our expectations in every way. The online registration is easy, and the check-in process at the kennel is simple yet thorough. The facility is brand-new and beautiful, with many thoughtful touches that convey the care Kortney puts into her business. We love the add-on services like frozen lick mats, treat bowls and senior-dog one-on-one time. Kortney is meticulous in collecting vet records and pet peculiarities/preferences. Her attention to such detail provides reassurance to uneasy pet owners! She communicates often and easily, and we especially appreciated the daily photos, videos and updates. Kortney provides many activities to keep the dogs occupied and happy, and both our pup and our senior dog were engaged. We love seeing how Kortney integrates her children into the dogs' care, and it made us happy to know that our dogs got plenty of love and attention. She easily managed both dogs' medications and even administered eye drops to our wiggly pup. Our senior dog developed a minor hot spot on her last visit, and Kortney handled it swiftly and effectively. I'm confident that she can handle any medical issue or emergency that may arise. We loved getting the report card at the end of our visit, and for both stays, each item we sent was carefully packed up and returned. Kortney is easy to work with and genuinely cares about the pets who stay with her.
First time boarding our 3 year old "Velcro" dog. All the reviews, pre boarding information and our meet and greet were very reassuring that he'd be in good hands. We were still apprehensive about how he'd react. Daily progress reports let us know he was doing great, indeed better than expected. Boarders get lots of 1 on 1 attention and multiple outings a day. The facility is top notch. And Kortney is the best, very empathetic, pays strict attention to safety, our concerns, and his individual quirks. Can't thank you enough, and we'd most definitely avail ourselves of your excellent care in the future if the need arises!
I’ve never felt compelled to write a Google Review before but I need to sing Thomas’ praises! Truly one of the best caretakers and services I’ve ever experienced. Not only is excellent about staying in touch (reminder texts, checking in about anything around the house that seems amiss, sending pictures when he visits), I can tell that our cats absolutely love him. We have one outgoing kitty and one shy one, but when Thomas sends photos it’s so clear that the cats are having fun and are enjoying their time. Showing their bellies, playing, etc.! And Thomas’ pet photography is unmatched. I don’t know what we would do without him!
Thomas is a great pet sitter. Very caring, reliable and professional! He is wonderful with our kitties. Even our shy kitty greets him when he comes to care for them. Thomas was very thorough in the information that he gathered to care for our kitties and home. He reconfirms scheduled services a few days in advance, sends emails and pictures when caring for the kitties and asks that we notify him upon our return so he knows that we're home to take care of everything again. Update May 2023: We picked back up with Thomas after the pandemic and his service is still wonderful. Excellent care for our cats, one of whom has a complex care routine. We've used Thomas four times since November and it's been awesome. On our most recent trip, we were delayed and had to ask for one more visit at the last minute. Thomas was flexible and accommodating. It made an already stressful situation much easier! Five stars. Original review: This was our first time using a professional pet sitter to look after our two adult cats--and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Our experience started with a home visit so that we could meet Thomas and he could meet our cats. Thomas was very accommodating of our schedules and agreed to meet on a Friday evening. His first move was to crouch down and meet our cats at their level. He treated them respectfully and non-threateningly. Then, he talked with us for about thirty minutes about our needs, our normal procedures, his normal procedures, etc. At the end of the meeting, we felt confident that he would take the responsibility seriously. He even had a number of general pet care tips that he shared with us that we hadn't heard before. A few days before we left, Thomas texted to confirm his first visit and make sure our travel plans hadn't changed. It was good to be assured that our cats were still on his radar. While we were gone, Thomas visited every day to feed and play with our cats, as well as scoop their litter boxes (daily) and water plants (per our instructions). He played with the cats more diligently than we probably do, and emailed us pictures of each day's adventures. He also left daily notes about what he'd done, what the cats were up to, etc. He even brought a few tried-and-true toys to supplement the toys we'd left. It was heartwarming to see photos of our kitties from thousands of miles away, and we were comforted to know that somebody was paying real attention to them. The day of our return, Thomas texted to make sure we were still on schedule. The plan was that if we didn't confirm that we were home, Thomas would keep visiting so that our kitties would be cared for. It made us feel good to know that if our flight was delayed--or cancelled--he would keep on taking care of the cats. We will absolutely use Pet Sitters by the Bay again when we travel. Peace of mind for a very reasonable price!
Thomas is such a wonderful pet sitter. He really took excellent care of our senior poodle, who takes medications night and day and is a picky eater as well. Thomas went out of his way to make sure she ate her food and was more than willing to carry her down the flights of stairs from our apartment because she has a weak leg. He sent us many updates during our trip so we know she was well cared for, and was very easily reached and attentive. We will absolutely be using Thomas again when we travel, and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a quality pet sitter!
We feel very fortunate to have found Thomas!!! While we were out of town, Thomas sent us an email with photos of our cat during each visit. Our apartment was immaculate when we returned home (wow!!!). It was obvious Bernadette had been extremely well taken care of (her toys were even in her favorite places). What a huge relief to be able to go away and know that Thomas will be our pet sitter and look after our little girl and our apartment!!! Thank you very much Thomas!!!!

Thomas was very professional and friendly, and did a great job with my cat. He met me for an initial consultation to get to know my pets and fill out paperwork, and my two animals -- even my shy dog who is afraid of everyone -- immediately took to Thomas. The day before my cat sitting appointment, Thomas sent me a confirmation email, and while he was at my place, he did everything we agreed on and even vacuumed around the litter box. He left a cat calendar for me to keep, and emailed me to make sure I was back home and my cat was doing okay. I definitely recommend Pet Sitters by the Bay!
Thomas was very professional and took wonderful care of our pets! We have a cat and a dwarf rabbit. Thomas came over to feed them, play with them and do some maintenance cleanup every day while we were away (for 8 days). During that time, he sent us 3 email updates with pictures of our critters, so we had no worries during our trip. When we returned home, there were detailed notes about what went on during each of his visits (plus some new catnip toys for our kitty!). He also brought in our mail every day - no extra charge. Thomas was great and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a pet sitter! We'll definitely be using his services during our next vacation.
Erik has taken excellent care of our large greyhound since we adopted our pup in March. Greyhounds can be shy and aloof to strangers, but Erik seems to have a natural intuition in engaging with my dog; this is evident during our first meeting, and our boy has maintained a bond with Erik ever since. My significant other and I both have highly demanding jobs, and Erik has been blessing to us especially in caring for our energetic boy both during the day and sometimes overnight home stays. He pays great attention to details, has been flexible with scheduling, and always provide timely updates to let us know how our dog is doing. I knew our pup was in great hands when we arranged a week-long overnight stay with Erik. We have been incredibly pleased with how professional, communicative, and passionate Erik is about taking care of our pup.

I love Erik and have been using him for years. We had a new rescue this year and even on the first visit he quickly acclimatised even though he was nervous with men specifically. I never have any doubts leaving my dogs with Erik.
Erik has helped me take care of my pet Blue and Gold Macaw and our family cat off and on for the past three years. He has been very reliable and trustworthy! We had long vacations where he needed to help us daily and he made friends with our very shy cat and was able to tend our parrot making our vacation worry free. Thank you Erik for your service!
Erik has watched our two cats twice now. Both times for four days. One of our cats has asthma and needs an inhaler. Erik has been able to give her this medication with ease and we are so grateful! We have been so impressed with this service. He is prompt and kind. Very communicative. The price is extremely reasonable. This most recent trip, we accidentally got the days wrong and he was able to accommodate! The cats really like him. Professionalism is at a 10! We will definitely hire him whenever we’re out of town and we recommend him to anyone!
My dogs love Erik! The are full of excitement when they see him arrive. He is very dependable and professional! I have two high energy dogs that Erik handles with ease. I highly recommend him!
We highly recommend Erik (Crazy Dog Man) for pet sitting. We have a large black lab/pit bull/Great Dane mix (Harley) that is a rescue, abused as a pup many years ago. He is therefore apprehensive around new people and takes awhile to gain trust. When Harley met Erik earlier this year, he took to him right away. Erik respects and understands Harley and his needs, especially now that he is a senior dog and has health issues. Erik stays at our house when we are on vacation and the occasional weekend, and provides Harley with exceptional care, including all his medications. Erik is definitely in tune with dogs, no matter their size.
Erik is very capable, conscientious and caring. My three horses and one donkey can be a handful but Erik handled them beautifully. He also did a great job of keeping their stalls, paddock and arena clean. I have recommended him to my friends, because they know I’m very particular about the quality of my pet family’s care. Erik provides that level of care!
Becca and her team at Furrwoods are incredible. Our dog, Bodi, is super high energy and loves to play, play, play non-stop. They always match him with other high-energy dogs and he has made some wonderful doggy-friendships over the last year and a half. He enjoys daycare so much and has been boarded there for over a week at a time and he always comes home tired, happy, and safe/healthy. Having a safe, clean, and enriching place for our dog means a ton to us. Thanks SO MUCH to Becca and staff for loving on Bodi.
Our two Boston Terriers stayed at FurrWoods for a full week and they did so well and got lots of playtime they were happy and exhausted when we got them home! The place is absolutely spotless and so clean it’s amazing! Caring professional staff as well!
We were so thankful to have found FurrWoods Kennels! We recently adopted a dog from Whatcom Humane Society. Oscar is partially blind and very reactive, as he was never socialized as a puppy. It was critical to find a kennel that was a good fit for him. We had been using another boarding facility for the past ten years and had been pretty happy with them for most of that time. Due to a detour, I happened to drive by FurrWoods and saw their sign. So, we scheduled a time to take a tour. Oscar was reactive to the owner and staff and was barking and lunging at them. They knew exactly how to greet him and put him at ease. Within minutes, he was comfortable and leaning in for ear scratches. We took Oscar out to the play yards and put him in one by himself. He immediately went to the fence and happily greeted the other pups in the adjacent yard. The play yards here are repurposed astroturf from a football field, and the surface is immaculate. The previous boarding facility has gravel yards and our previous dog would sometimes eat rocks there or be dirty from digging. There are 3 or 4 different yards so they can group dogs by size or demeanor or age to ensure everyone has a positive playtime. The kennels are also very clean! There are only 28 kennels so it is much more peaceful than at a larger facility. They provide trampoline beds and even have slow feeders if you need them, which Oscar does. They have an online reservation system which helps me keep track of my bookings. You can also sign your dog up for an activity such as individual fetch time or a walk in the woods. We have boarded Oscar at FurrWoods several times over the past few months - sometimes just overnight and for as long as two weeks. He LOVES it there!! When we arrive, he pulls me to the door and wants to go straight out to play! This speaks volumes, as Oscar normally has separation anxiety!! When I pick him up, he is clean, happy, and exhausted. Thank you thank you thank you to Rebecca and her staff for welcoming Oscar into your kennel and your hearts!!
We can’t say enough about how wonderful Furrwood is. We leave our Luc there and know that he will have a fabulous time playing with his friends and be well loved and cared for while he is there.
We scoured the entire county for the right fit for our basset hound puppy, and Furrwoods rose to the occasion. He has specific needs and Becca has accommodated every one of them without question. This is the cleanest facility that we toured. The astroturf is much better for his skin and toes (they get yeasty, but not here). When we pick him up he usually greets us then turns right around to go back in. He definitely keeps the staff on their toes and I'm very grateful for their hard work.
Such an amazing place for my dogs. Extremely clean and organized. The staff is very professional and helpful. I always feel they make my dogs needs a priority. I would highly recommend bringing your dogs here for doggy daycare or an overnight stay.
Our dog Tanto went to Furrwoods for almost two years (we have now moved out of the area) and we could not have been more comfortable and happy with the care he received! Rebecca and her staff do a great job making sure your dog is loved and having a ball. Tanto always left Furrwoods happy and exhausted from a full day of fun. Cannot recommend enough!
My dog is always so excited when we arrive at the facility and so tired when I pick him up. The staff are very personable and seem to love my dog. They usually give me a report on how he did as well. They have cameras and an indoor/outdoor play area.
I've lived in many places and have used many kennels. I've never found a boarding facility that is as great as FurrWoods! They are kind, and accommodating, and take excellent care of our dogs. I will forever use FurrWoods and recommend them to everyone.
This is the nicest kennel in the county. I truly appreciate Becca and her staff. It is so great that we can leave town knowing our dogs will be well taken care of and have fun with the other pups there.
I LOVE Hyline. And my Sydney (German Shepherd/Akita mix) LOVES it too. I absolutely have trust in the workers, my baby comes home happy and having played well, they have a lot of extra services available, and she gets her grooming there as well. After trying another place in town where Sydney would leave panicked and stressed out (wouldn’t eat sometimes for days after) it is a relief to know she is cared for so well at Hyline. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you Hyline. Oh, and they send the best pics!!
Hyline is a great facility if you’re looking for boarding your dog while out of town. As a daily daycare it wasn’t what I thought. Dogs are in kennels for most of the day and let out for 15 min to play and do their business… for my 5 month old she deff needs more interaction with other dogs and play time. The staff was very nice and she did have fun.
Awesome service from the personnel at Hyline Hotel, they did an amazing evaluation of our beasts, put them in a play group with 5 other dogs and submitted photos. Both our dogs looked so happy to be there, our female who is more vocal talked all the way home about the fun she had. Huge difference from previous daycare, won’t mention names. Hyline Hotel is the BEST!
Hyline is definitely one of the best doggy daycare facilities I have ever taken my dog too! My dog had the best time with other daycare goers and the handlers/staff of the company. Keep up the great work! My dogs tail never stopped wagging from how much fun he had! :)
I've used Hyline Hotel for years, both for daycare and boarding. The staff are great, friendly and welcoming and really care about giving the dogs their best. One local trainer told me that Hyline is the only kennel that she would use. They are terrific.
Guys, my cat is absolutely psycho when it comes to grooming her or trimming her nails. I don’t know how they managed to turn her sassy self into a mini lion with the cutest mane and floofy tail, but they did. Have a cat or dog that needs grooming.. just take them there already. Don’t think twice.
I was very impressed with Hyline Hotel for Dogs. Our two dogs were there over thanksgiving week and we received daily updates and photos. When we picked our girls up, they were very happy to see us and napped in the car on the way home - a sign they were content with their stay and well cared for. Everyone at Hyline was super friendly and the whole check in and out process was very streamlined. Thanks again!
Friendly, kind, compassionate and thorough daycare for our Harry. The staff are always keeping a open line of communication and seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. I don't ever worry about our dogs when they are at Hyline.
Our young dog was very nervous the first couple of daycare visits, but Hyline made sure to pair her with other dogs she played well with and by the time we needed to board her there, she was confident and comfortable. They kept her safe and as happy as possible being in a different environment and I would recommend them to others as well as use them again. They are responsive and organized and kept us updated.
I have to admit that I was so nervous about leaving our dogs before leaving on a vacation. I had never left them before and a neighbor told me about how great Hyline is. We made reservations for our pups online (a really easy and straightforward process) and, from the moment that we made the reservations, Hyline responded immediately and cheerfully to any and all questions or concerns I had. Also, when I was checking them in, I had a zillion questions and each one was answered with great patience and in great detail. It was really encouraging to know that such great people would be taking care of the dogs. During their stay, we received texts and emails daily with photos of and messages about the dogs, which was so great! The dogs looked like they were having so much fun (!) playing with the other dogs and playing ball and exercising. What a great place to bring your dogs! We will definitely bring Arrow and Bella back to Hyline for our next trip. Great place and great people who truly care about your dog's needs! Highly recommend!
I was staying in the Lyden area camping and needing an overnight facilty for my dog because we had to go fishing VERY early. I contacted Rover Stay Over and set-up a reservation. Even being from out of town, they were able to take my dog because I had all the appropriate vaccine information, etc. Bailey had a great time and was one tired pup when I picked him up. We needed some help for a few hours during a day trip across the border. Not having connections in the area, this site was a perfect resource. The process was seamless and communication was great. Tobi had a great time here and we are grateful for their services.
Rover Stay Over was able to get my dog in for a 6 day “emergency” when my regular boarder went on vacation. The facility is clean and professional. The staff clearly LOVES the dogs (I got to hear them talk to other pet parents - it wasn’t just me). I loved the report card and photos so I knew Charlie was having a great time. I’m definitely going to be a regular!!!
I was looking for a new place to groom our 2 year old cockapoo. It was suggested for me to bring him to Rover stay over for grooming, which I didn’t know they had grooming options. I was very happy to find that our dog was groomed to exactly how I had asked and was treated with care and love. Plus, the price was completely reasonable and very much within my budget. I will definitely come here again!
Our dog loves going to Rover Stay Over for their daycare playgroup! Her excitement shows when we drop her off. She gets to run off leash and play with other dogs in a fenced, supervised area, which is so good for her. The staff there is friendly and experienced. We’ve also boarded our dog there from one to several days and are happy with that experience too.
We love taking our doggos to Rover Stay Over. The dogs are super excited to get there, practically singing with glee when they see we are slowing to turn into the driveway. The staff clearly love all their charges and we love them back. The only gripe we have is regarding overnight boarding policy that if you leave your dog after 11am on the pick up day they will charge for another day of boarding rather than a day of daycare. This is a new change this year, which is why it is why I mention it. We have learned how to work with this, but we preferred the way they did it before. Thank you for being in the community and making our dogs so happy !
Our pup came home very ill with some respiratory infection, lethargic, not eating. He could barely keep his eyes open. They told us this 2 days before I picked him up early- and only because I called and inquired how he was. Only one report card after a couple days and then several days went by with no communication. I had to call and ask for one, and then they said he was coughing and they would " keep an eye on him." Said he also wasnt eating. Seems they should have realized he was getting really ill.He's been home 24 hours and looks very sick- going to vet first thing tomorrow. They need to do much better with observation, and communication potential issues. Not recommended at all. My dog was a healthy 8 month old when he went in. I'm quite concerned now.
We love Rover Stay Over and have left our dog, Briggs, in their care for many years. We love picking him up freshly bathed in his adorable bandana, exhausted, happy, and healthy.
My dog didn’t want to come home with me. I was happy and sad all at once, as he kept looking back. Once we got home, he curled up in his bed and took a nap. I could tell that he was tuckered out from so much fun. We look forward to our follow-up visit the following weekend and plan on making this part of our routine. Thank you I will recommend you to everyone I know with a canine friend.
Rover Stay Over was absolutely phenomenal! I have a dog who has quite a bit of anxiety and fear of humans and they accommodated him perfectly. The staff is friendly and let me walk my dog back to his kennel to say goodbye and partially due to his anxiety which was very helpful. I can’t recommend Rover enough and this will be the only place I take my dog moving forward.
Dewey our 16 year old Aussie Golden mix needed some TLC. Having lost our groomer we decided to try NW-K9's grooming facility. Shauna listened to our concerns intently. When Dewey was ready she told me of her skin condition and suggested our Vet have a look-see. A bit more pricey but very well worth it.
I have been coming to this groomer since in was called Northwest Kennels back in 2019. I cannot speak to their daily boarding services, but I just had an unfortunate chat with someone from their business after I had to cancel a groom last minute (40 minutes notice). My son woke up with a fever and ear infections and I needed to get him to urgent care. I was informed that I would need to pay the full costs of the canceled groom ($120-$130, so has gone up quite a bit) before they would allow me to schedule again. I have never canceled last minute before. Interestingly, at our previous scheduled appointment back in 9/2022, there was a miscommunication between the staff members at the facility once we had already arrived, and we were told our groomer did not show up for our dog’s appt. We had to turn around and take our dog home. We took about a 9 month break of using them after this; as I had driven an hour from Everett to get my dog there, just to leave with no groom. I explained the situation that occurred last time, and asked if we could waive the double full groom fee, seeing as we didn’t get one last time - I was told “This is our groomer’s livelihood and last minute cancellations (30 min) before appointment time leaves them with half of their day unfilled with no time to fill the appointment, thus the 24 hour cancellation policy. At this point regardless we are booking out into August for large dog grooms that aren’t on a regular schedule. We appreciate your past patronage.” The grooming services themselves were fairly consistent and we were happy with it. To their credit, the manager did try to call and reach out after the above ^, but we will just be looking to find another facility. Hopefully other’s interactions will be smoother.
We entrusted Northwest Kennels with our little Cooper for a 4 day stay, doggie daycare and grooming. Let just say this, I dont think we've ever picked him up after an extended stay any happier than he was this time. We will trust them to care for our fur baby anytime. My dogs have been going here for years and absolutely love it. They get extra interaction with people and dogs all day, which has helped with their socialization. They come home exhausted, which is amazing for preventing destructive behavior and boredom at home. The difference since they started going is massive. The staff is super friendly and good with the dogs. I've never had any issues, and the payment and booking system is easy. Highly recommend!!!
Our Daisy girl loves this place! We travel internationally quite a bit and they always update us with photos of our baby and are quick to reply whenever we ask them how she’s doing. The staff also has a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and temperament and ensure all the pups at the daycare are happy and safe. They are also very straight forward with pricing and have great, friendly customer service. We are picky with our pets and are super thankful we found this spot!

We take our two Aussies here every four weeks for grooming and I can't express my gratitude enough. They've been getting groomed every month since they were 8 weeks old and always loved our groomer back in Wisconsin and never had any fear. However when we moved to Washington we took them to a groomer that came "highly rated" and after only a few grooming sessions my little boy would do everything to stay in the car and not get groomed. He would be shaking and terrified and curl up in the corner of the vehicle. I don't know what that other groomer did to him to make him like that, but after going to Northwest K9 just once he's no longer afraid and hops right out to get groomed again. They do a great job every time with their grooming and the dogs love going in again. Thank you guys so much!
We just had our Akita Suki groomed by Stephanie at NW K9 Inn & Spa and was very happy. Suki has always been a tough dog to groom, especially mail clipping. We have had two groomers and one vet office not able to groom her - until Stephanie. She was able to gain Suki’s confidence easily. Upon dropping Suki off, Stephanie was thorough with questions to better understand not only our hopes but to gain an understanding of Suki. One question was how she does with a dryer and I indicated we have never been able to use a dryer. To our surprise Suki tolerated the dryer to being almost dry. This was a total break through. We also boarded Suki for 1-night a month ago with good results. The staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The prices for services are reasonable. I highly recommend NW K9 Inn & Spa.
The reason I bring my dog to Northwest K-9 Inn and Spa are a number of reasons- dog lovers work there, my dog genuinely loves going there, and the customer service is great. There is one more reason, and that was reinforced yesterday when I picked up my dog. The very nice person who released my dog to me asked me is it was alright if she had clipped his nails. I said "great". It's this personalized care that I really like. Thank you very much.
We've taken one of our dogs here many times for grooming. She's a German Shepherd with a thick undercoat. Not only does she look great when she is done, she seems to genuinely enjoy her time there. We took our other dog here for the first time too recently. She's small and generally terrified of new experiences, but seemed comfortable from the moment we dropped her off. Both dogs came home looking and feeling great! We will definitely be taking both of them back!
