Long post. Our family hasn't taken a vacation in 5 years. Our Bullet boy is nervous around others and isn't always sure of strangers. I spent weeks trying to find a place for Bullet during our vacation. I then came across another post someone asking for dog boarding and someone mentioned Barks and Cuddles. I then looked them up, checked out their reviews and decided this was the place. Called and scheduled a meet-and-greet. Once Bullet sat next to Spencer and let him pet him I knew this was the place. It took him a couple days to warm up but then he got comfortable. He even made new friends. I can't express enough my gratitude for Barks and Cuddles patience, love and care they gave our fur baby while we were away. Even got daily updates and pictures. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am glad we found a place for our boy.

Barks and Cuddles took great care of our Rowdy boy!! We loved getting daily updates. They were also so accommodating when we had to extend one more day!! We will definitely have our boy stay there again!!

Barks and Cuddles are literally the best! They handled my dog with so much love and care especially being a dog with high anxiety at times. They were willing to work with him and accommodate his needs while I am always out of town! I can’t take my dog anywhere else because of how well they treat Ollie.

What a wonderful place. My two boys had a great time playing with the other pups and were happy in every picture sent to me showing them running and playing with the other dogs in the backyard. definitely recommend barks and cuddles I was scared to leave my dog since this was the first time I left him with another person besides my family. But I got daily updates on how my pup was doing. Definitely recommend. Leo loved his stay and made lots of friends

Spence was our point of contact for our dog Roxy. We were fine for 7 days the week before Christmas. Roxy appeared to get along with other dogs for the most part. We received daily updates on Roxy while she was in Spence’s care. I like how she was able to spend a decent amount of time outside enjoying the weather. I feel this is a better environment then having a dog at the big chain stores because of the personal touch, closer, daily updates, and just having a point of contact to ask questions. Instead of us having to pick up Roxy, Spence actually dropped her off at our house as in this situation, it was more convenient for him. I will add that if he is unable to keep the dog due to too many pets, he has some support of others that will help. If your dog needs to go to the farm, they will get a lot of time running around resulting in dog probably needing a bath. Very satisfied with Spence and Barks and Cuddles.

Kilo had a great time. They worked with my schedule for pick up and drop off and communicated fast/ well. I can’t wait to bring him back!

We could not be more thrilled with the results on our beloved doodle Tinsley. We’ve been using the Dog House for all our pet grooming needs for 6 months running now for our little wiggle worm after butchering her doo a couple time attempting it ourselves. Their staff of dog whisperers get her in and out and are so conveniently located here in Saginaw. Leave it to the pros over at the Dog House. Love these people!!!

My huge dog Bella was very well taken care of this past weekend! She stayed for 3 nights, got a bath, a nail cut, played with friends her own size, and enjoyed some ice cream as well. She can’t wait to go back! Thank you Saginaw Dog House for loving on her! ♥️

I am sad to report I showed up for my grooming appointment today and the business is no longer there. Door was locked. Called the phone number and mailbox is full. I wish I had received a call about the business closing and canceling my appointment. An employee at a nearby business said he saw them move out on 12/31. It is so hard to find the right groomer. I will definitely miss this place. Lorraine was the best. If you open up the business in a new location please please contact me.

The Dog House truly has a passion for animals and they take such great care of our dogs. We were refused at large chain groomers like Petsmart because we have senior dogs and they would use any reason to no longer get groom them. We struggled to find a groomer that would take them because they were over 14 but the Dog House had no reservations. Our babies come home smelling great and not stressed at all. They take their time and give our babies time if it’s too much at once. Thank you for loving and treating our babies as if they were you own!

If you need a place to take you furry children, this is the place. They treat your pets like part of their family. They took excellent care of ours at a very reasonable price. Thanks so much for your loving time and attention. They also do a great grooming job.

After searching for quite some time, I finally found a groomer close to home. They are an extremely nice and friendly staff, and my dog looks great! Love this place

I absolutely recommend Happy Tails! I have used Samantha's services since Feb 2020. She is an incredible person and care taker. She definitely has the dogs' best interests at heart. I love how the dogs have free range in the house and the choice to be on the furniture-- it is not a typical boarding facility where they are in their kennels/crates/"suites" for most of the day, limited to very short bathroom breaks, and only allowed extra play time if it was paid for. Even when I moved to Austin, I still brought my dog to her if I had to take a trip. She is the only dog sitting service I trust. I love her pupdates. And I am confident that my dog has had nothing but great experiences and felt comfortable staying there. I even worked for a dog boarding facility for a while and had access to free boarding, but I would rather drop my furbaby off at Happy Tails. I am living in San Diego now, and I still haven't found a professional and quality service like Samantha at Happy Tails.

We absolutely loved that we found Happy Tails! We travelled out of state for our wedding and had two LONG drives so decided to board our spoiled fur baby for the first time and we couldn't have felt comfortable knowing he was comfortable, safe and SO happy! Samantha is absolutely great to work with, communicates GREAT and you can tell that her and her fiance just love dogs! Every picture and "pupdate" we got, our pup was clearly so happy, relaxed and loved! We'll absolutely use her for our remainder of time stationed here!

We had a great time on our vacation. Samantha sent updates and pictures. Our pooch was in great hands. We had our choice between a pet resort and Happy tails. For more money, we could have gone with the pet resort, where our dog would have been locked in it two by two room and would only be let out four times a day to use the bathroom with no contact... plus we would have had to pay for an extra day because they don't take drop offs on Sundays. We decided to take our dog to Happy Tails. First of all, Samantha picked up our dog and dropped her off at no cost because we were within the limits. That was so convenient. She gave our pooch plenty of love, attention, and healthy treats in a clean, home environment. She had our dog there with other friendly dogs, which was a great experience for our dog. She took her on walks, gave her healthy treats, and she even sent pictures and updates.

We boarded our dog Maggie here while out of town for a little over a week and we are very happy with our experience. I would highly recommend Happy Tails if you are looking for a trustworthy place for your pup to stay. Samantha was awesome from the beginning- very quick to respond to emails/questions and she sent us updates while we were away. It took Maggie a couple days to get her energy back once she came home so we know the dog had a blast too!

I cannot say enough about Samantha And Happy Tails Dog Sitting.We have used her services For close to six years. Our dog is always Happy to see that she is visiting. Samantha has gone out of her way to offer to pick up Our dog When we had emergencies and had to go out of town. I always receive a response within four to six hours, knowing the attention is on the fur babies and their care as a priority. I would trust no other . #happytails #furbabies

It’s not often we choose to board our dogs and sometimes unforeseen circumstances can occur that leave you helpless searching for someone last minute who you can trust with your loved ones. Our dogs are our children and they mean the world to me and my wife. We can count on one hand the amount of times we’ve had our dogs stay the night at someone’s house in a 3-year span. The point is we don’t trust anybody to watch our pups, but Samantha was the exception to this rule. When I first met her she invited me over to their house and I had the opportunity to chat with them while they were introduced to Kona and Penny. We chatted for 45 minutes while the dogs ran around their beautiful and clean backyard. I felt comfortable with leaving our kiddos with them. While we were away, they would always send us updates and photos of how our dogs were doing and have accommodated us and our crazy schedules countless times. We had a traumatic event occur recently and within an hour of me saying I need to drop off the dogs and catch a flight to the other side of the country they responded without hesitation and said, “We got you!” Samantha has an extensive background with animals that puts my mind at ease in the event something weird were to happen. Cannot recommend Happy Tails enough!

We have had our Chocolate Lab- Ryno stay with Samantha and Zachary twice. Thank you for taking care of our fur baby. We can go away on vacation or whenever we need and know that he is being taken care as their own. Samantha has so much love for each dog she watches and it shows. Ryno is always happy and worn out when he gets home.

We love Happy Tails and so does our dog! We were new to town and wanted somewhere that our anxious dog would be comfortable. After just a couple trips there, she now jumps in Samantha's car & barely even says bye to us! Samantha does pickup/drop off, which is super convenient, and she sends regular updates and photos, which really helps set you at ease. Plus, our dog comes home exhausted from playing all week, which is an added bonus after a busy day of traveling. Would highly recommend for your fur babies!

Happy tails dog sitting was fantastic! My boys were right at home and had a blast. My husband and I were able to enjoy our vacation because we knew that our fur babies were in such great hands. They sent pictures and awesome updates while we were away. My boxer can have some anxiety when we leave, but not with Happy Tails, he is happy as can be, eating, playing and sleeping. Do yourself a favor and choose them, you will not regret it! - thank you!

I had to leave home for 3 weeks and Happy Tails is where my dog Dooley stayed!!!! I could not have been happier. Samantha is amazing. She made me feel so good about being away for so long. Michelle took care of our two dogs, Sammy and Layla for two nights. They’re pretty chaotic dogs but she managed them very well. She was very responsive when we texted her to check in on them, and everything was in order when we returned. She did an outstanding job!

Michelle is so awesome! She recently watched our little Boston terrier, Lola while my husband and I were away on a work trip. We loved the cute little updates she provided, and Lola was always well rested after the long walks she got under Michelle’s care. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter or walker! She is incredibly responsive, sweet, and attentive— will definitely book again.

Michelle did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Max, while we were out of town. She made sure that he had plenty of attention and activities to do. We received lots pictures updating us on his daily routine— they were so cute, and max really warmed up to her! Will definitely rebook in the future when we need a sitter!

Every day, every visit we recieve pictures and updates on how our kiddos are doing! Jan is so easy to work with. When we first moved here and started to interview Pet Sitting businesses, The Sitter of Pawz was absolutely the best fit for us. Jan was easy to talk to and completely understood what we were looking for and was more than happy to accommodate!! When we go away we know our kiddos are in the hands of people who love what they do!

Sitter of Pawz is a God send! I recently moved to this area from several states away and was worried about going away without family nearby to care for my cats. I made a profile and before I even contacted SOP, Jan texted me to welcome me to their service and setup a time to do a meet and greet (very last minute because I was leaving the next day). Jan and Katrina are absolutely wonderful and were great with my cats. You can tell they genuinely enjoy being around animals. While we were gone they sent detailed updates and pictures of each of my cats and I did not worry about them one bit. I recommend Sitter of Pawz to anyone, 100%!!!

The pet-sitting team with The Sitter of Pawz is exceptional in every way! I have a cat with a rare medical condition, and the sitters conscientiously take care of the numerous extra steps she requires. The detailed texts and numerous pictures they send after each visit makes me feel like I'm almost there with them. Plus, they go above-and-beyond in being proactive to unexpected situations, such as opening cabinet doors and leaving faucets running to keep our pipes from freezing during a surprise ice storm. Traveling is much more fun when you know your pets are in good hands and are so well loved!

We used The Sitter of Pawz for dog sitting. This was our first time leaving our babies for more than one day, and we were traveling outside of the US. Jan & her team were AMAZING!!! Jan made us feel very comfortable that our babies would be taken care of and loved on. We got daily updates with each visit including photos. Our babies got fresh water, plenty of outside time, played fetch, and received tons of love & cuddles. We are so glad we found The Sitter of Pawz and highly recommend. We are relieved we found a reliable local company that we can use again!

Jan and her team are wonderful folks. They always accommodate my last minute requests for cat sitting and spend the full amount of time if not longer! We are moving away so we can no longer utilize their services but I can not recommend them enough and their kindness with animals. 10/10!!

Jan and her team take great care of our 3 little ones every time we go out of town. We have one pup who can be unfriendly to people in our home. This required a meet and greet at a park for everyone to get acquainted and then a second one at our home. Victoria has gone above and beyond for our kiddos. We have some hyper active breeds of dogs and she does amazing with them, and always sends me updates to let me know how they are doing. I cannot recommend her pet sitting services enough!

I have used Daisy Pet Services twice now. Fees are very reasonable. My last trip was for 10 days. I've always had to board my dog, cat and parrot and I nervously decided to try a service. It's been FANTASTIC. Every visit I get photos of my animals via text along with an update on how they're doing. Without a doubt, my pets are happier and far more comfortable at home; I am able to relax and have a great time on my vacations. I HIGHLY recommend DPS and will be using them again soon!! 🐾❤️

We were looking for a pet sitter for our 13 yr old dog when we moved here a few months ago, and after looking into a few companies, I met Victoria and was very happy with her/Daisy pet services. She was very professional, treated my pup with TLC, and is super responsive (email & text). As she is getting her dog bakery set up, Hayley has been a happy taste tester too! We are looking forward to our upcoming overnights with her!

I am beyond happy with my service here. Debra is so sweet and kind. I love her! My dog has bad anxiety and she made sure to give my dog some extra loving so she’ll be comfortable. When I dropped my dog off she was so anxious, when I picked her up, she was walking all over the place like she owned it. Also, Debra sends you pictures of your dog throughout the day. She’s very reasonable and understandable!

we just boarded our three dogs last minute for a two-day boarding stay and i’m so glad we did! i always feel so guilty leaving my dogs at kennel boarding facilities where they get little-to-no attention and are cooped up the entire time. i was immediately interested when i stumbled on rub my belly, and the rave reviews is what caught my attention. as soon as we parked to come in we saw a gang of little dogs in the back yard all running and playing together (and barking excitedly at our trio when they noticed them) and when we went through the front door we knew this was the place for our pups. it smelled like cleaning chemicals and maybe laundry - it had a strong scent of a place that was being constantly cleaned. it did not have a “dog” smell or a urine smell like another reviewer mentioned. there is some older furniture that the dogs have free reign of, and lots of things both inside and outside for them to jump and climb on. the facility is like a small house turned doggy playhouse. i love that the dogs have freedom to run around and roam and just be dogs! it seemed like the most fun little canine vacation. miss deborah took an immediate interest in our dogs and made sure she knew their names and asked a lot of questions about them! it was obvious she is passionate about what she does, and she was really warm and kind. she sent us a few pictures too which made my day while we were traveling! i would definitely recommend rub my belly to anyone looking for a unique, kennel-free place where you want your dog to play with other dogs and have direct interest and attention from someone who cares. i definitely plan to return my dogs to rub my belly in the future! thank you for taking such good care of our babies!

New to the city. I was referred to Deborah and I am so grateful for her. She has definitely blessed me and my lil one's life. Excellent service and care she gives, physically and emotionally for me and my 2yr old fur-baby. I know Kingzton is safe and well taken care of. ❤

Deborah is a caring dog owner and is helpful, flexible and affordable compared to bigger shops. Her groomer has done a great job spiffing up my pups, turning them from rags to riches! Friendly and personable. Recommend!

The owner is very nice person and I believe she loves dogs. So I scheduled to board my dog with her. When I went to drop off my pet I knew I had made a mistake because as soon as I walked in the place smelled strongly of urine and appeared generally unclean. I did not want to leave my dog but it was to late to make other arrangements. This was a lesson for me. I will never make arrangements for my pet with a place I have not personally visited prior. This was my mistake. Thank goodness my pet was fine . My lesson has been learned and I will never make this mistake again.

If I can give this place a 10 star rating, I WOULD! I just got my pup, (13 weeks) my work sent me out of town last minute and they forgot I have a fur baby... they didn’t check if the hotel they booked me was pet friendly. It wasn’t, Deborah answered so kindly, gave me all the info I needed, we agreed on a time that I would be dropping my pup off the next morning, well, I had to leave earlier than anticipated. I called Debora at 6am, she answered and was ok with me dropping off my pup at 6:30am!!!!❤️❤️ Such a life saver!! She sent me pictures of my pup on a daily basis and when I went to go pick up my pup... my pup was all over her but obviously jumped off of her as soon as my pup heard me!! I highly recommend this place!!
