I very much enjoyed house sitting for Dori, Bruce and Luna. Luna is a very well behaved, beautiful dog that loves to play fetch with a frisbee or tennis ball. Playing catch with soft snowballs or going for walks along the lake was also fun. Dori and Bruce were very welcoming and introduced me to a few neighbors in their community which was very nice. Communication during their stay was easy and frequent. They left me perch fillets from ice fishing in the lake for my first nights supper! Delicious. Their home is lovely with everything you need for a comfortable stay as well as good WIFI. It is two blocks from the lake and one block from an open space where you can play with Luna without having to worry about vehicles or a bunch of other dogs. I would not hesitate to house sit Luna again should the need arise. Sue
Wanda & Eric shared their comfortable home with a fantastic view of Okanagan Lake with us for the whole month of June! We enjoyed our stay with their 4 Spanish Water dogs while Wanda & Eric visited France and Spain. Thank you for the welcome basket on arrival, Wanda, nice touch! The dogs kept us company during our daily walks/hikes, even the rainy day ones. The ladies; Opium, Cha Cha and Rumba were wonderful and the one boy in the pack Campe, is a very playful boy. Campe loves his red ball and the kongs. We couldn’t get over the changes in the gardens in the 30 days that we spent here. Even had some fresh garden produce, strawberries and lettuce. We also enjoyed some local cherries, yum! Oh, and the song birds! We thought Eric left tonnes of seed to keep the feeders full. We are amazed at how much seed they went through, ferocious eaters! We even went out & purchased additional seed just to keep the feeders replenished. We think Rumba would have preferred we hadn’t, lol. We pet sat for Oriel and Mick taking care of the cutest spaniel - Sibyl for a week. She was a pleasure to take care of. She is a very loveable dog who loves people's attention, loves her walks and enjoys both outdoors activities and indoor relaxation. Oriel and Mick are very generous, tidy, clean and great communicators. Their home is beautifully renovated and well equipped. The kitchen has everything you will ever need. The TV has numerous apps to choose from. The guest bedroom is very nice with a comfortable bed located on the top floor with a nice bathroom next to it. The home is located in a very central area of Cambridge within walking distance to anything you could possibly want. There is a private parking for your car, which is essential for this location. We would be very happy to return should the opportunity arise and can highly recommend this sit.
We had a great time with Suki. Mark and Julie live in a lovely cottage in a pretty village, and took the trouble to make sure we were comfortable and properly introduced. They even told us where the best seal watching was to be found. Suki was well-behaved and easy to care for and walk – she would go as far as we did with no complaint and is affectionate at home. Would sit again.
It was such a pleasure to look after Harry Houdini- they are both playful and very cute! Melissa’s place was wonderful- super clean and modern, and right on the river. Good train and bus links. Thank you!!
Alessia is a very hospitable hostess. She provided all the necessary, gave all the instructions. I was just pleased to communicate with her since she is an interesting person and a good conversationalist. Masik is a completely charming cat. He knows that he is handsome and knows how to use his charm. I had a wonderful time and will miss Masik and Alessia . Alessia thanks for everything. Hope to ever hug you and Masika again.
