Would rate 6 stars if possible! Diane was a wonderful sitter. She came to Santa Fe and cared for my “big personality” wirehair dachshund, Bruno, for 8 days — and they had real fun. He was smitten with her cheerful and warm nature. We had planned the sit months in advance and we had a great call, texted a bit to coordinate and everything was very smooth. My house and car were in tip top shape when I returned and I’m just so grateful we were able to connect. I’d have her back in a heartbeat and highly recommend for your sitter needs. Thank you Diane!
Alex received us with everything ready for a perfect sit and explained us some few details about Bernie's care. She has a beautiful house located in a very quiet neighbourhood, perfect to relax. We enjoyed two beautiful days with Bernie. We went to the park and played with the ball, she is very well trained. Also she is very sweet, loves to cuddle and to run in the garden with you.
Sitting for Bettina and Jack was a wonderful experience. I would 10 for 10 highly recommend. They were very informative of everything not just for their home and fur-babies but the area as well and introduced me to a lot of their friends so I would have people in the area to hangout with and turn to if I needed anything. They were also very responsive while on their travels and we kept in touch throughout the month. It was great getting to come a day or so early to get to know them and their fur-babies before they left which I think helps the animals know they can trust me. They are very gracious hosts. They even let me stay a little longer before going to sit for their good friends over the weekend. I'm super grateful for their hospitality and kindness. I had such a blast hanging out with Max, Rustle, and Queenie and getting to know each of their personalites which kept me laughing. I was blessed to enjoy lots of snuggles and kisses from them. They love being near their people and would follow me from room to room. I loved it becuase I enjoy their presence as well and welcomed the distraction from work, lol. Caring for them was a breeze as was taking care of plant/yard watering, bird feeding, and keeping up their beautiful home. I love the ocean so being just a short 6-minute drive to a beautiful beach access to walk the beach and watch the sunset was a slice of heaven. There are a lot of fun things to do in the area like dune buggey rides, sand boarding, and beautiful ocean view hikes to name a few. If you like to run and/or cycle, there are some great routes like 126, 101, and South Jetty Road that have some amzing views. Florence is a small town with a lot to offer.
A short and sweet sit with two darling Shih Tzu's, Elvis and Darcy, in a beautiful home with a Victorian feature window. Rebecca was a warm host who picked me up from Devises, took me on a dog walk, and put a pizza in the oven for us to share whilst we chatted. Rebecca heading off mid-afternoon but not before a demo on the amazing log burner! Then, I had a cosy night in front of said log burner with the dogs being playful and affectionate. Elvis takes medication but instructions are clear and it's no fuss as he enjoys taking it. The dog's routine is broken down in an easy-to-digest format. The house is wonderful! Cosy. The local people are friendly too, saying hello to you (and the dogs) whilst you're out on walks. Rebecca returned early and I enjoyed a long gym session, before another interesting chat. The loving nature of the dogs, and the cosy home feel like a hug. Thank you for having me.
It was a pleasure sitting for Suzanne. Benny is very sweet and well-behaved and their house is beautiful. Would highly recommend this sit, and the area is super nice. Suzanne was very helpful and kind to show me all the best spots around town :)
I had the most wonderful sit at Jane's! Poppy was an absolute delight, she is incredibly cute, affectionate and loves to cuddle. I loved spending time with her and was so sad to leave her! The house is absolutely beautiful. We were incredibly comfortable, it is literally on the beach, and we had a great time exploring an area that is naturally stunning. Jane was incredibly helpful and hospitable, she left really clear instructions and made sure we were comfortable in her home. We absolutely loved this sit and are already missing Poppy and the lovely house!
This sit is a little corner of heaven. The pets, Charlie and Sybil, are indoor / outdoor cats living their best lives as roaming and lounging free spirits. They are super low maintenance animals who are a lot of fun to interact with. Even though they are low maintenance they still love pets and attention! The house is situated in a peaceful corner off a country road just 10 minutes outside “downtown New Hope”… a lovely plant-filled home with lots of cozy nooks. The owners are super friendly and prompt and efficient in their communications. Great experience I’d go back in a heartbeat!
