We had such a fun time caring for Oscar and Yuki on Jeju island! Johanna and Geoff are wonderful cat parents who made sure we had everything we needed to care for their sweet kitties. Plus, they made sure we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly on the island. Their welcome guide was chock-full of health and wellness info for us and the cats, as well as all the food reccos and activity guidance you could ever want (with map links!!!!). From the moment we met Johanna and Geoff online and then in-person, we felt like we had made wonderful new friends. They cleaned the (huge!) house so nicely before our arrival and made sure we had everything on-hand to be comfortable in their home. And what can we say about Oscar and Yuki? What a pair! Yuki would sleep with us every night and Oscar would come for some bedtime snuggles before sleeping in the window above our heads. During the day, they were always in the same room with us, keeping us company. Both cats stole our hearts and were such fun to photograph! We would welcome the opportunity to spend more time with Johanna and Geoff and care for their “kids” again. Much love from us. S&T
My teen and I loved sitting for the brothers, Jarvis and Franklin. They were so sweet together and kept each other entertained. Playing with them definitely helped them burn off energy. June’s instructions are detailed, organized and easy to follow. I appreciated meeting ahead of time so we could have a walk through. She responded quickly when necessary and made sure all ran smoothly. The location was fabulous. We could hear the waves! Proximity to old town was great. This sit is 5 stars all around. So glad we could do it AND we would do it again. If you get a chance, take it!!
It was a pleasure to meet Deva Laya the evening before she left for her trip. This gave us the chance to get to know Sulis and Tatters, and go over the things that Deva Laya had mentioned in her online guide. We had a very comfortable week at Deva Laya’s lovely house with its large garden and porch, her kitchen was well equipped and contained everything you could need. Sulis is a very sweet elderly lady who is very independent and is easy to care for, although she does like company at night. Tatters came twice a day to be fed and seemed to enjoy cuddles as much as the food! There are plenty of restaurants nearby and Deva Laya gave us her recommendations which helped to narrow down our choices. There are lots of places to visit in the area, we particularly enjoyed visiting Cartegena and El Castill de Guadelest, whilst the beaches were great for walks ...particularly during the mini heatwave we had. This was a great sit and one we would gladly recommend.
It was a delight to sit for Corvi, Sasha and Pepa. Corvi greeted us as though we were long lost friends from the outset. Sasha and Pepa liked their own space, but were very happy to let us know when they wanted cuddles. The house and gardens were beautifully presented and very peaceful. Everything was ready for our visit, including preparing another room to accommodate our children. All instructions for looking after the pets very clear and easy to follow. A nice, relaxing house and pet sit. Thank you to Lisa and family!
We enjoyed our time in Great Leighs. Nicola and Chris were great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Their home was extremely comfortable and had everything you could need. Nicola even leant me her bicycle! Misty and Roxy were very easy cats to look after. Misty was really self-sufficient, liking his own space and Roxy was more affectionate, needing human company. Great Leighs is a quiet village with some nice walks nearby and all the amenities at nearby Great Notley. Would highly recommend this sit.
Nathalie was super communicative and thoughtful as a host. She came up with a contingency plan when initial plans fell out. Both Ginger and Pako are very independent and easy to care for. Her high-floor flat not only has a breathtaking view of Rotterdam, but is very spacious, organized and well equipped. The location is just within walking distance of everything I wanted to visit. I very much enjoyed this sit and would not hesitate to do it again if possible :)
