Leanne
I absolutely loved taking care of Winston and staying in Leanne's beautiful house. The area is so nice and quiet, just a few minutes walk from the main streets, Byres Road and Great Western Road with lots of cute shops, cafes and restaurants. The Botanic gardens and Kelvingrove Park are close by as well, i took long walks in Nature while staying there. And Winston the cat is so sweet and funny! Overall a beautiful experience!

Leigh
I didn't have the chance to meet Leigh and Fred in person, as I arrived later the day they left and departed before they returned.  They had been flexible with my arrival date to the point that they postponed their departure by a day to match my preferred arrival date. Leigh had been quick at confirming me as a sitter and kept in touch from that day on. She truely wanted me to have a good stay, and succeeded with flying colors!  Leigh provided recommendations on activities and restaurants geared towards my interests and offered the use of her tricycle and local museums pass. Getting around Key West is easily done on foot and a local bus is available on demand  for $2 a ride (check out the Key West Rides app). There's lots to see and explore! There's also pickleball everyday morning a mile away, if that's your thing (it's definitely mine and the players are very welcoming).

You can't beat the location of the townhouse, so close to the lively and popular Duval St, yet, distant enough not to be noisy. The communal pool was clean and quite enjoyable, with the other 12 townhouses being occupied mainly by visitors at the time I was there. There's a pharmacy near by, tons of restaurants on Duval and groceries less than a mile away.

Luna is the friendliest cat I've ever sat, she's purrfect. She could turn anyone into a cat lover! She loves being brushed, she followed me from room to room and spent every night curled up on the bed. She is very gentle, loves attention and greets you with a mix of meows and chirrups, and if you're willing to talk back, you can have an entire conversation with her, it's too funny! Feeding and cleaning after her is a breeze, with the use of an automatically feeder and Pretty Litter. Ozzy is more independent and seems to prefer the outdoors, coming in to be fed or for short naps. He's not supposed to be fed by the other units' owners or renters but he knows to hang out nearby for meals or treats. I had more interactions with him by the pool than indoor, as he often asked to go out immediately after finishing eating.

This is a great sit in all aspects, I highly recommend it (but not if I apply again, because I'd like less competition!). I would definitely return, given the opportunity. Thank you so much, Leigh & Fred, for having given me the privilege to hang out with Luna & Ozzy!

Charlotte & Jon
I had a great experience pet sitting for Charlotte and Jon. They were very considerate and concerned about my comfort. They allowed me to use their car since I don't have one, which made things so much easier. I was able to take Theo to the dog park, which he loved. The animals were very easy and sweet. Charlotte and Jon's home is beautiful, in a very nice area of San Mateo. I thoroughly enjoyed their home and animals and would highly recommend them to other sitters. If you get a chance to pet sit for them. Definitely do it.

Gabriela
I had such a good time getting to know Stella. I fell in love with her when I interviewed for the sit and was excited to spend more time with her. She is super shy and super sweet. It took a good handful of days to gain trust, which made it that much more joyful each time I noticed a shift. She is truly a unique and beautiful gem, and it was totally worth the wait to experience our gradually evolving connection. She’s very obedient and easy to care for. Communicating with Gabriela was simple, clear, and professional. She and Drew have a comprehensive notebook of info and instructions regarding the house and Stella, and I had plenty of space in their lovely midcentury modern home. The guest room is quiet, dark, and comfortable. Parking is easy, and the pool is wonderful. A great sit in a beautiful setting!
