Dog Sitters in Boars Hill

Jamie, Eve and their three daughters were the perfect house and pet sitters. Friendly, great communication - I feel incredibly lucky and priveleged to have met them. I have 2 dogs, a cat, 7 chickens, a large garden with many plants and a fish pond. When I came home, the house and garden looked incredible. Everything was super clean, the garden (which takes about an hour a day to water) was thriving in spite of some hot days while I was gone. I admit I'm a little paranoid about leaving Daisy with strangers. Although pretty active, she's 15 and has had spinal surgery. For Ursula, Polly and Amelie it was mutual love of the dogs - they had truly bonded. Both dogs are used to sleeping in the bed with me, but everyone made sure they were comfortable overnight and they happily slept in the bed with one of the girls. When I got home, I think the dogs were a little disappointed to see me! My ony concern is that they've set the bar so high. It will be difficult to find a family who will look after everything so well. I know this is their second trip to Canada. I hope that should they decide to come back, they will get in touch with me. I will arrange to go away just to have them come back to look after things here. I've had housesitters from at least 30 times over the past 12 years. Jamie, Eve and family are the best sitters I've ever had. I would for sure recommend them to anyone with pets of any kind and I'm happy for Jamie and Evie to give future potential sits my contact information if they have any questions.

Catherine was an absolutely brilliant sitter. She made the whole process incredibly easy and, from the first, I felt assured that we were leaving our dog in safe hands. Throughout the stay, Catherine sent updates with photos of the pair of them out on adventures. The house was spotless when we got back. We're so grateful to have found someone so reliable and caring.

Emma and Jan are lovely: friendly and kind. My cat Sophie took to them instantly and i completely trusted them with her. Emma and Jan are very calm and organised and keen to make sure everything was done as I’d like whilst they were staying. They kept me updated whilst I was away and i returned to a very clean and tidy home, and a happy cat. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

Claire is great, loves the pets and always looks after them and the house really well.

We were sure Anita & Jamie would be a good fit from the start. Anita’s message was so friendly & a FaceTime later we knew Tom & Jerry would be in good hands. Throughout our trip Anita sent us pictures and updates. Communication was always easy and quick. They also took care of our plants and even made sure we had a few staples in our fridge when we got home. We would love to have them back for another house sit in the future!

Zabrina and Ariel were absolutely perfect housesitters and looked after our dog Pumpkin perfectly. They kept us updated every day with messages and photos, we couldn't have asked for more. Rob, Mica and Pumpkin

Ann and Mark came to housesit for a week while we were in Scotland and they couldn't have been more accommodating. They are a delightful couple and engaged in full communication before their stay to cover all eventualities. They even visited us at home so we could show the workings of the house and introduce the animals. They are well organised and self sufficient at the same time as keeping us updated at timely intervals. Highly recommend.

Lovely petsitters, especially given our little Luna has taken a turn for the worse, they did a fantastic job looking after her. They clearly love animals and we felt very reassured with them there.

Some sitters don't seem to realize how important their application messages are. I've received applications that simply said "I'm interested." Mandy and Lee caught my attention right away with a conversation that was neither too short nor too long. It was simple, sincere, direct, and showed they had carefully read what I wrote. It convinced me they were good candidates. As we always do with sitters, we met in person and our relationship was easy and pleasant. During our trip, we chatted casually as if we had left friends at home. When we returned, everything was spotless, our girls were happy, the plants were healthy, and we even got a little gift. I highly recommend them; the experience couldn't have been better.

Isabella took wonderful care of our dog Luna and our home while we were away on a short break. She was an excellent communicator and we returned to a happy dog and an immaculate home. Thank you Isabella!

Ai is the second pet sitter I invited into my home and I could not be happier to have chosen her. She was at ease as soon as she arrived and settled straight away. My cat Cookie took to her too. During my ten days away Ai communicated with me every day to update me. I was very grateful. Ai knew Cookie loves to be brushed, it helped to become best friends!! Thank you Ai for taking good care of my cat and my home too.

Melanie stayed at our home with our pet dogs Raffles and Sydney for three weeks over Christmas and New Year. Melanie’s communication from the start was excellent. She took care of our dogs with patience and love and they looked very happy when we returned. Melanie’s communication during the sit was excellent and our home was left is a clean and tidy manner for our return. We would not hesitate in having Melanie return to our home.
