It was an absolute pleasure looking after little Cheerio. She is the sweetest little girl and full of life and energy. Being just 3 months old, she certainly kept me on my toes. She loved her walks around the neighborhood and getting tummy rubs sitting next to me in the evening. This cozy, comfortable home is in a beautiful neighborhood close to the beach and a short distance to a variety of interesting shops and cafes. Peter went out of his way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend this pet sit.
Connie and Clay were the most welcoming, gracious, amazing hosts! They cooked dinner for me and allowed me to stay the night the day before they left. Once they were off, they were communicative and quick to reply if needed, but overall very trusting and relaxed, which I greatly appreciated. They embody the ‘my house is your house’ character, which led to a lovely sit for me! Brewer was a joy, and super easy to take care of. I’d go back in a heartbeat!
Lucy and Khan’s place has everything you’d ever need! We had a lovely stay. Echo is an awesome and affectionate cat, very easy to care for.
Alfie is the sweetest pup that I have ever sitted so far. He loves his treats, walks, dog park times, and chasing his friends in the park. While I work from home, he would just rest nearby and watch you, he gets all excited when you put your jacket on, haha. Sophia is communicative and sweet, her welcome guide has everything you need to know, and her place has everything you need while your stay. Do you know there is a well known dog cafe that’s a couple of blocks away!? The neighborhood is vibrant and full of life. If you ever get a chance to sit for Sophia, I’d highly recommend it.
It was a lovely week with Betty, she really captured my heart. I’d never been to this area of London before—it’s charming and walkable with parks and forests in every direction and a high street where you can get anything you need. Delivery services also work here so a car is not needed! Some tips for future sitters: if Betty starts barking a ton at something outside she quiets down if you scoop her up and snuggle her. Also, I came in April which was lovely but also very rainy and muddy, I wish I had brought rubber boots! And some days wish Betty had them too 😂 But she is a champ in any weather, and has a particularly funny way of playing with other dogs. And humans. ❤️
Linda and her husband were very kind and even provided a hotel overnight as our flight had been delayed. Additionally, the sit included the use of a car, which we greatly appreciated. In summary, we really did enjoy our stay in Dixieland.
