Sitting for Allen was a pleasure, he made the process easy and was very welcoming. The dogs are gorgeous, well behaved and friendly. Allen's home is lovely and well equiped and the car made it easy to get around and visit different villages, markets etc. I would highly recommend this sit for anyone!
Norman and Beverly felt like our abroad family. They are the most generous, kind and considerate people we have ever had the pleasure to meet. They made us feel so welcome into their home and were more than accomodating to our every need. We can’t thank them enough for making our England visit an unforgettable experience. We particularly enjoyed exchanging travel stories, gaining informative advice for travelling their wonderful country, sharing family stories just having genuine conversations. Treacle (or with our mispronunciation, Trekkle) and Kizzy were lovely, well behaved pups who were great companions during our stay. We looked forward to walking both these girls each day. Kizzy provides her company while you’re at home by sitting beside you or walking around the house with you. It’s very cute! Treacle is a happy choc lab who loves being around nature & enjoys meeting other dogs in the park. She is also a loving character who particularly enjoyed giving Kayla lots of company outside while she watered the plants. She also gives you gifts when she’s excited! In our experience, it was a golf ball, shoes, blankets or oven mits :) Norman and Beverly, thank you so much. We’re incredibly lucky to have met the two of you and can’t wait for our paths to meet one day again. Until then, enjoy the wine & future travels. Kindest regards, Matt and Kayla :)
Our sit with Phantom was excellent - she is a really great cat! She has the softness fur and enjoys having her ears rubbed along with a little light massage. In between her frequent naps, she’ll let you know when she’d like her treats, meals or brushing. A few meows and pointed looks is all it takes! Hahaha Jean and Larry are wonderful hosts; we much appreciated their kindness and generosity. Communication before and during the sit was excellent and their Welcome Guide is thorough and helpful. Their home is tidy and very comfortable. It’s located in a friendly, quiet neighborhood with great views of the Santa Rita Mountains. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and on the many trails in the area. Our favorite morning routine, after we had fed and said good morning to Phantom, was having breakfast on the back patio. Listening to and watching the birds flit between the trees, cactus and flowers, with the backdrop of the Santa Rita’s, was a great way to start our days. If you’re fortunate to have the opportunity to meet Larry and Jean and care for Phantom, don’t pass it up!
Carrie & Dom were so nice and welcoming! All of the cats were so cute and had such good personalities!
I had a great time looking after Duke and Cora, they’re both lovely dogs who are just a pleasure to be around. Mike was so nice and welcoming as well 😊
Emma and Dave are awesome and we are so happy we had the chance to meet them and pet-sit for them. They’re both very interesting and entertaining - overall just a cool duo! George is an absolute sweetheart who we could not get enough of! He’s a chatty, playful, and entertaining boy who is just unbelievably adorable. Cannot wait to see him again at some stage! The donkeys, Sansa (sorry, I can’t remember where the accent is on her name) and Elenia, are lovely. We fell in love with them instantly and loved how they would just stand there for pats, cuddles, and grooming. They are our favourite donkeys in Ireland so far and it was hard to say goodbye! Womble, Maggie, and Cleo were lovely company as well and spending time with them while they were eating was a nice way to start the day. We miss all the animals and genuinely cannot wait to see them again! It’s a wonderful house in a beautiful area. Nothing but positive comments from us about this sit, would highly recommend the experience!
