Chris and Sue were wonderful and their dog Charlie was an absolute delight - very well behaved and great on and off the lead. Close to all the beautiful villages and towns in the Cotswolds with some beautiful walks all around you. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hawthorn House and would highly recommend it.
Kadia is a wonderful dog to sit for. Even though she is 70lbs she walks very slow and anyone can handle her. She loves scratches and attention and is a total love bug. The location is great and there are plenty of conveniences nearby that you can walk to if desired. Carol is awesome and will help you with anything you need.
This sit was simply fantastic. Allison and Dave were perfect hosts. They provided me with information on the care of their home as well as contact information with local friends should I need any assistance. They even arranged a get-together with friends my first night there and the night before they departed. This was an awesome idea as I got to know several people who will remain friends. And then there was Rosie, a beautiful golden retriever. She was so easy to care for and a real joy to spend time with. I loved our daily walks. I cannot say enough positive things about this sit. It was absolutely wonderful.
My partner Olivia and I had a wonderful stay in knaphill, the area is beautiful for morning walks and there are supermarkets very near by. We did have some restless nights as we are not used to having a dog sleep in the bed. Gemma is great on her walks, loves playing with the ball and is very obedient. Tiger was no problem at all and we had a lots of cuddles and of conversations together. Kevin and Leigh are amazing people, so kind and welcoming and their home was a pleasure to stay in!
What a great house sit and such a welcoming family! Polly & Cosmo are adorable and so affectionate. Highly recommended housesit!
A lovely time all around! Hosts were very welcoming and gracious, and all of the animals were real sweethearts. Largely self-sufficient but would often hang out anyway, and they were great company, both inside and outside the house in the garden space. It was a treat to spend time with the creatures in such a lovely space. Thanks!
