Sitting for Juanita and John Barnes was a great experience. Juanita is a kind, lovely woman. John Barnes is calm bundle of love. He’s happy to sit and observe the garden from the kitchen window or engage in a bit of play with his treasured feather wand. He is very food motivated and knows when it is time for his meals. His special diet food preparation was easy and straightforward. Before and after meals, he was open to play with the feather wand a bit. I found that being up and moving around him would engage him more and keep his interest. He also would crouch and pounce if you slowly pulled the wand out of the room and into the hall. Juanita’s flat is cute and cozy. It’s a short walk into the quaint town with dozens of shops and restaurants. There is a great street market on Saturday with loads of vendors and food trucks. I would be happy to sit for Juanita and John Barnes again.
