We could not be happier with having Mark & Amy watch our home and our pets for the month we were traveling in Europe. We arranged for them to move in a week early so they could get to know our cats and become familiar with them and the chickens' routines. My wife kept in contact with Amy a bit during our travels and we felt so lucky knowing that everything was secure and happy at home. Amy made sure to have the house looking great for our return and we would not hesitate to invite them to return in the future.

Brooke was so lovely to communicate with. She had a warm, grounded energy and was very responsive to us and our animals. Brooke sent us little updates about how the animals were doing while we were away, which put me at ease. Would definitely have her sit again!

Sunshine loves Kelly and Alan! This is the second time Kelly and Alan have taken care of Sunshine. They are so sweet. The communication before, during and after their sit was great. They sent updates and pictures. They met with our neighbor who they will be petsitting for and Sunshine didn't leave their side. It was so nice not to worry how my pup was doing during my vacation and knowing they were taking care of her, the house and everything was ok. I feel so lucky to have met them (I was referred by good friends who they sat for their pup too) and hope it works out that they can come back again. We met Robert and Jolene for the first time when they came to housesit and care for our dog, Gator. Upon meeting them, they absorbed the information we were sharing with them and were relaxed and self-assured. Throughout our vacation, we received many photos and texts about Gator. When we returned home Gator looked very well cared for and content and the house was meticulously clean. Our pond was in great shape and our koi looked very happy - well, as happy as a fish can look! We hope that Jolene and Robert will come back in the future. We feel like we've made new friends.

Charlotte is a friendly, relaxed host. She was reachable and checked-in periodically.

Leo is a cat lover’s dream: He is vocal, affectionate, and super inquisitive. He warmed up to me instantly. His two states of being shift between lounging/cuddling and investigating. If you leave anything out (food, garbage, cables, toilet paper) he will get into it. We had a wine glass break because he loves to play in the sink/toilet/anything water. He pretends to be starving and tries to share human food. Be mindful when you are preparing a meal/using kitchen appliances because he is a dedicated sous-chef.

Charlotte’s apartment is spacious (with UK electrical outlets (FYI to visitors))--the perfect size for 1 person. While it is absent a few amenities (oven, dishwasher, blender, window blinds) it is nothing I couldn’t live without. There are no cleaning supplies because it is cleaned professionally. Her apartment building has a pool that I wish I had discovered sooner. Arjan (neighborhood) is not Dubai proper but halal cab fares are affordable. Charlotte lives next to the Miracle Gardens. The apartment is walking distance to mini-marts and a shopping promenade with a few restaurants and many cafes. During my sit, as is common in Dubai, there was active construction across the street, but it didn’t bother me much.

Dubai is an incredible city to visit—filled with wonders! The weather was warm but still tolerable this time of year. I had the luxury of visiting during Ramadan so many festivities were extended into evening hours.
