Cocoa is the sweetest girl. Ever. She loves going for a hike and is great off leash. Their home is surrounded by trails - making it very easy. She'll hang by your side the rest of the day. She is very well behaved and was great around other dogs. Natalie and Mike are wonderful hosts! They are lovely people and their home is beautiful.
We had an amazing time housesitting for Caroline. Her house is very comfortable with plenty of space. Scruffy was an absolute joy to take care of, full of energy, entertaining and very affectionate. The surrounding area is beautiful with lovely walks and a train station nearby. We were really lucky with the weather and spent lots of time in their fantastic garden, we even had a couple of deer visit the garden. Caroline gave us clear and detailed instructions which were very helpful, and the bottle of wine kindly left for us in the fridge was unexpected and lovely. We would love to take care of Scruffy again in the future and will miss him.
Beatrice was completely kind to us, the first day she welcomed us with delicious Irish food. Pandy and Pearl are totally adorable, not at all demanding, they just want caresses and playing. The house has a beautiful park and view. We enjoyed our stay there and we would definitely go again.
Jane and Ziggy are simply wonderful and their home is a delight, full of light, plants and a happy feeling. Ziggy is sweet kitty, a little cautious at first but very loveable! Thornbury is a great area, close to public transport and gorgeous little shops, bars and cafes nearby. I felt calm and peaceful petsitting here and am very much looking forward to coming back.
My stay in Kill was an absolute pleasure! Martina's home is lovely, cosy and comfortable. Martina is a delightful person, very warm and friendly. We formed a very nice connection. We went hiking together and she took me for a drink at a local pub my birthday! Max is the sweetest little old dog. I fell for him hard :). It's difficult to believe he is 14 years old! He wasn't interested in walking much but he loved to go across the street to the green space 2 or 3 times a day to sniff to his hearts content. I was without a car but the public transportation was very efficient and ran many times a day into Dublin. This is a sit I would do again in a heartbeat.
Shonnel and her family live in a beautiful apartment overlooking Magnetic Island and The Strand. The guest bedroom was just lovely, the bed very comfortable and a spotless bathroom to use. The cats, Winston, Millie and Edith were very easy to look after. Edith was a little shy, however Winston and Millie, were very friendly enjoying pats and playing games on their cat towers. Thank you for the opportunity it’s to share your home and enjoy the company of your pets. Shonnel left a complete and easy to read guide on how to look after the three cats and their home. The other unit owners were always friendly to talk to. There is a spacious and safe lock up carpark with easy access to the lift. There are great restaurants, hotels and coffee shops within easy walking distance. The local Coles is also very close. You do not really need to leave the area. It is all here. A great house and pet sit. I would highly recommend this wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable housesit. I truely enjoyed my time here and most grateful for the experience. Thank you.
