Staying at Antonia's house and looking after Eric, slipper and Edith plus the hens and sheep was great fun. All three dogs are very well behaved and wonderful company. If the weather is good, their favourite pastime is to spend be outside in the garden with you. Edith, the black Labrador, particularly enjoyed going out to sniff the air and wonder around the garden when it was raining while Eric was not so sure about the wet. Slipper just wanted to be with us all but needed a bit more time to keep up. Antonia is a wonderful hostess, the house was very welcoming and instructions for the animals very clear. What she has created in her garden in absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this sit and would go back there in a flash.
Sitting for Birdie and Bogey was a wonderful time. It was so sweet to see how these two Sisters loved and were so mindful of each other. Each day was an adventure with these fun-loving girls. Debra and Karen did a superior job training Birdie and Bogey. I have many classes and they listen well and truly enjoy with much enthusiasm their daily routines. Seeing them get excited to go on the boat and swimming was such a treat for all of us. We appreciated the Lake life and Andres couldn't get enough of shouting, "squirrels" and laughed as Birdie and Bogey ran out the door to chase them. The girls had many cute routines. Debra and Karen were the ultimate hosts and their house is beautiful decorated. I admired many of Debra's homemade wood furniture. They were gracious and picked us up at the Airport. We also shared dinner and laughs the night before to get better acquainted. Debra and Karen are thoughtful, organized, fun and appreciable communicators. We feel they are our new lifetime friends and appreciate the opportunity. Thank you Birdie, Bogey, Debra and Karen. Hope to see you again soon. Saundra and Andres
I had the wonderful experience of getting to stay at Chuck and Kelley's house and sit for a sweet Corgi (Jasper). Jasper is super friendly, fun to play with, and very obedient. We went on walks several times a day in the neighborhood and he led me where he wanted to walk to (usually to go walk out on the marina dock and look for fish in the water). The subdivision is right on the waterway, and I sat on the front porch every morning to watch the boats and the birds go by as well as the Blue Angels training flights several times a week. It is an easy 5 min drive to the State Park and a 10 min drive to Johnson Beach on the National Seashore and the quaint little restaurants, shops and beaches of Perdido Key. Kelley and Chuck were very helpful in setting me up with everything I needed in the house to spend a little over 2 weeks there, as well as making sure I was good with Jasper's habits and daily needs. Kelley was in contact with me to respond to the pictures I sent as well as any questions I had even though they were on a Cruise! What an amazing house and dog sit in a very beautiful and peaceful part of the Gulf Coast. 5 stars plus, and highly recommend this as a first-class experience in a beautiful Florida house with pool and a great neighborhood. I will miss my new best buddy Jasper for sure!
A big thanks to Lynette and Max for sharing their sweet pets and lovely house with us. Frida is adorable and super laid back when she’s hanging around the house. However, when she hits the trails and finds some of her doggy friends along the way, she is super energetic and excited to play! We enjoyed taking her to the beach and forest reserve, an easy walk from the house. Stevens the cat is super affectionate and loves to be around people. Max and Lynette were very welcoming and gave us all the details we needed. The guest room with king bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend sitting here!
We had an amazing time in Mogador. Prince and Nellie are lovely and really easy to care for. The house is very comfortable, and the garden is lush and green and well looked after. The pool, hot tub and tennis court are an absolute bonus when the weather is nice. The chickens will provide you with more eggs than you can eat, so prepare yourself for a week of amazing omelettes and other egg dishes. André and Lindsey are very welcoming and left us detailed instructions and thoughtful touches around the house. We would absolutely love to do a sit for them again!
