We enjoyed our time sitting with Owen and Oliver. Sweet little kitties, who were so easy to care for, from the moment we arrived in Durham. They have a great routine, and acclimated quickly to us being in their home, to care for them. Kylie was a great communicator, before and during our short stay with the boys. The home was very comfortable and extremely clean. We recommend sitting for Oliver and Owen, if you are in the Durham area.
David and Elizabeth were very kind and welcomed me into their home for a 2 day sit with Bella. They were very generous and fed and watered me. David showed me around the village and the best dog walks and they provided lots of interesting local information. Bella was a delight. She was slightly nervous at first but very friendly, obedient, and loving. I would help David and Elizabeth out again in the future if circumstances permitted

Antony and Aina welcomed Alse C and I the night before they left on their trip and filled us in on all of Setsuko’s cute quirks. Setsuko is a great mix of mellow and playful. She let us know when she wanted to play by bringing a toy over, when she wanted to go out on the porch by standing near the door, and when she occasionally wanted to cozy up by sitting next to us on the couch. Setsuko sometimes needs a little convincing to get her harness on, but once it’s on she’s ready to walk as long and as far as you are. We were super comfy in the huge bed and appreciated all the open space in the large closet, dresser drawers, and bathroom to put our things. We got to see a beautiful sunset on the river downtown one night, and Antony even got us into a Lady Tigers game at LSU. We enjoyed this mostly quiet sit and miss our friend Setsuko!

Stopped by as we are transitioning our French bulldog onto raw food and thought they would have some good treats. The staff are incredibly well versed in dogs, dog health, diets etc. They were so patient despite us asking a multitude of queries. Can’t recommend this place enough for dog owners.
Never have Natures Instinct in when I go so you have to buy the more expensive raw food. Three times they have no stock. They need to get their orders up to date to match consumption
My Mojo loves it here. He's a 4 yr old English Working Cocker Spaniel I've had since 8wks of age and my 3rd furby. He used to be a bit nervous around other dogs & had terrible separation anxiety and it was a new experience as an experienced dog owner as my first two were always happy around others and to be left home alone and with other people. I was at the point of thinking I would never be able to leave Mojo with anyone. But I decided to try him in a doggy daycare and it's the best thing I ever did. He loves it. He goes every Saturday 10am to 5pm and after the first two trips he doesn't even look back when the girls come to take him to the play area and he actually pulls me up the ramp when we arrive. He is starting to get better there as they did tell me that he would get panicky and spin and yowl and bark when a dog was being taken out for collection to go home and he is quite taken with one particular staff member there and any time she left an area he was in he would yowl and react. But he's barely doing that any more. But apparently when it's close to 5 he is so used to the routine now he starts to sit by the gate as he knows it's home time and he wants his mum which is so cute. They're fab with him and even at home I notice a difference. He's much calmer and more relaxed in himself and out on walks he doesn't react to other dogs coming up to him for a sniff and a tail wag and actually goes up to others first. Our nextdoor neighbour has a dog who reacts to him when he's out in the garden and barks at him and growls and lunges through the fence and he used to react in the same way but now he completely ignores her. She's a lovely dog and when they're out front and off lead they're fine together but put a hedge or a fence between them and she is different. Territorial doggos 😂 I can't recommend enough and a bonus is that not only do they have a fab Doggy Daycare but they also have their own Pet Food Shop - Natural Cornish Pet Foods which specialises in Raw Feeding and my lad has been on a raw diet since he was a year old. I wish I knew about raw feeding with my first two babies as it is soooo much better than ghastly dry feed and those totally gross tins of dog food. He is a very healthy happy boy has no skin problems, no allergies, beautiful teeth and coat and best thing (albeit gross to mention) his poo is solid and like little nuggets as his body is getting every bit of nutrient from his diet and literally only the tiniest amount of waste which is how it should be and because he gets a lot of hydration from his diet he doesn't guzzle water back to the point he's bloated. So picking up after him is a doddle. If I could give 100 stars I would this place is fab. My only slight negative is they need to start taking pics of the dogs on Saturdays too. Not fair that us weekend dog owners don't get any.
Really lovely place today! My dogs are amazingly friendly and well behaved but sometimes they just don't listen to me and can make me quite anxious.. Having this on my door step is amazing! The dogs were free to roam, chase the ball, and I was able to fully relax with them and actually they were both on their best behaviour 😍 Henry who showed me around was informative, friendly, and just generally helpful! Thank you for a great half an hour... The dogs are now sleeping and I'm able to get on with some work at home!! We will be back...

This is one of Jax favourite places to have a day to run and play with his mates and get one to one socialised wiv humans.. him being a rescue and not been socialised wiv humans he has come on leaps and bounds x thank u guys so much x

We've used the secure field a few times now and our dog loves it! Lots of space to run around without worrying about escaping. There's also bench to sit on. Would definitely recommend. Nice shop as well with lots of good treats and food. Friendly staff.
Mary at Far West is amazing. She looked after our cats perfectly. We have total trust in Mary. In fact, our cats wanted to go back !! Excellent safe and secure facilities. Mary knows cats perfectly. Very good and highly recommended.

We had to arrange to check our cat in at very short notice due to an unexpected trip. Mary was wonderful, reassuring us that our cat would be in safe hands and to go and do what we needed without worrying about her. Upon collection she was curled up fast asleep very content snuggled up in her heated bed! Would definitely recommend.

We were so lucky to find Christine when we recently had our holiday in St Erth, my two whippet babies settled so well with Christine and Lottie...much better than they ever have anywhere else. Christine accommodated us for the times we needed and really made our holiday. It was so nice to be able to go off on our own to some places which were not suitable for our fur babies Poppy and Tansie knowing we didnt need to worry at all and Christine sent lots of lovely pics and vids of the girls playing and out on walks which was great xx Thanks Christine we will certaily be looking you up when we next visit xx Penny, Mike, poppy and Tansie xxxx
I have just come back from St Ives where I was staying with my family including my two dogs: Indi - a St Bernard cross & Marnie - a Newfoundland cross. We had seen a post about Christine on a Facebook group, and can honestly say she was a godsend to us over the 2wks we were In St Ives looking after the girls. After the first intro session they took to Christine, & were so happy when she came to sit with them when we went out. She sent us lots of photos, & put me at my ease whilst she was sitting (I very rarely use sitters at home). I would highly recommend Christine to anyone who needs someone they can trust to sit or walk their dogs!
We cannot recommend Christine highly enough. She has a strong affinity for dogs and our “Lily” took to her immediately. We were away for 11 days, Christine house sat throughout. We were so worried about leaving our princess, Lottie. We hadn’t left her for a single night since pre covid and we are absolutely besotted with her. Lottie is 12 so that adds another dimension too. We had planned a very special two week holiday celebrating our wedding anniversary so really needed to feel anxiety free whilst we were away. We need not have worried! Christine came very highly recommended and she exceeded all our expectations. We received daily updates, pics and videos. We had the best holiday underpinned by knowing Lottie was having the best, and safe, time too. I expected Lottie to be hysterical with joy when she saw me but she was very happy in Christine’s arms! Proof if proof were needed, and it wasn’t, of all of Lottie’s emotional and physical needs being met. Highly highly recommend and Lottie is already booked back in for another trip!
We were struggling to find dog care for our wedding in St Ives in June and we were worried we wasn’t going to be able to take our dogs to Cornwall at all when we came across Christine’s details on social media. We messaged Christine to see whether she was available and from the off Christine’s communication was brilliant, she shared details about the pet sitting she provides and sent across all reviews and documentation to prove she is a registered pet sitter. Christine looked after our beloved staffie Skye and my mums cocker spaniel Milo. I was initially apprehensive as we have never left our dogs with somebody we don’t know, however during the wedding day Christine sent frequent updates of the dogs and how they were getting on, sending lots of photos to show how happy and content they were and how they were finding their stay. She took the dogs on a walk and the photos showed how ‘at home’ Christine made the dogs feel. We are so happy and so glad we came across Christine and would recommend her services to anybody who is struggling with pet care whilst in Cornwall. We would definitely send both dogs back to Christine when we need it, if you are hesitant then there really is no need to be.
We needed our dog watched for a few hours while we got some cycling done when on a trip to st ives, Christine was great as she was very flexible for times to take him and sent us lots of updates through out the day with pictures at the beach and in the park. Would definitely use again when in the area and recommend to anyone! Thanks again Christine!
Christine looked after our Cockapoo Baxter on two separate occasions while we visited St Ives recently so that we could do some dog-free activities. We found Christine to be very professional during the enquiry and booking process, which was very reassuring. Then when we dropped Baxter off she was very in tune with him and spent time making him feel relaxed and at home. She sent lots of updates which was also very reassuring and by his second visit he knew he was in for a nice walk and play with Christine and was very happy to see her! Christine looked after our dog for us to attend a wedding whilst we were holidaying in Penzance. Nancy can be quite anxious when we leave her but she seemed to settle very quickly. Christine was absolutely fab! I hate leaving my dog with people I’ve never met before but based on others reviews, I chose Christine. She has all the necessary paperwork and in our first conversation was rightly focussing on where she was going to take our puppy and how she was going to keep him cool… this reassured me a lot! I also loved the fact she kept me regularly updated with pictures throughout the time she was looking after him. 5 stars all round!

Carol has been looking after our animals for two weeks, our family comprises of 6 dogs, 3 cats ,fantailed doves and marine fish. 4 of our dogs are on regular medication and special diets plus one cat with IBS who needs daily medication. An excellent service that is good value for money. Carol is professional and your pet's welfare is her priority. I have a dog with a medical condition and Carol went the extra mile to learn how to deal with his condition. She is a cheerful and confident dog sitter who put my dog at ease. I was happy to leave him with her without having to worry about him. Communication was prompt and easy. Carol turned up ahead of our appointment to ensure that everything was in order. Carol’s pet and home sitting service recently looked after our springer spaniel and we couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Our dog stayed with Carol and Steve for over a week and was very happy. Carol kept in regular contact and updated us on what our dog was up to. All queries were answered promptly and thoroughly which kept us very reassured. We found Carole’s pet sitting service on line. From the first point of contact we knew that our dogs would be in great hands. Carole is very professional and loves the pets like they’re her own. It gave us an opportunity to enjoy an evening at The Minack theatre and another evening at a lovely restaurant. The dogs were very relaxed and exceptionally comfortable on the sofas when we arrived back to pick them up. In fact they didn’t want to leave! Carole gives them lots of attention and stimulation whilst in her care, she has so many toys for them. The garden is wonderful and totally secure. We look forward to seeing you again soon Carole! Carol was very accommodating and great with our black lab Milly who stayed for 5 nights. She kept us updated with pictures throughout, mostly of Milly having fun playing in the garden and on the beach. Milly can be a bit of a handful but Carol managed to keep her entertained and she must have had a great time, as she didn’t seem to want to leave! Jason collected my rescue dog Bailey from South Wales and brought him down to me in Truro. He really goes out of his way to ensure your pet is transported and handed over comfortably. My rescue dog was extremely timid so Jason stayed with us until Bailey was calm and relaxed. It really is all about the animals, so if you want a pet transporter that really cares about your animal choose Jason. He is super reliable, professional but above all he will take good care of your pet. I have no hesitation recommending Animals at Home Cornwall.
Don’t know where to start really. I found this company on line and was in desperate need to get to Cave vets in Somerset at such short notice. A very nice gentle man called Jason answered the call. We arranged to be picked up 7.45. The security for my dog was outstanding, he was safe, warm, and secure, and was quite happy and slept all the way. Jason put us at ease straight away and was very knowledgeable about dogs. We arrived at Cave vets after a very smooth and safe journey. Jason waited at the vets with us until the first consultation was over, my dog had to have a mri scan so was staying the day. Jason then very kindly took my friend and myself to the local garden centre and left us there until we called him to pick us up. Back at the vets we had to wait over a hour, Jason told us not to worry how long it took. Willow was discharged later that day, and the repeat journey was as comfort and safe. We arrived home approximately 19.00 with a very sleepy dog. Thank you Jason for making our journey so comfortable and safe and putting us at ease the whole day. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for transport to contact this company.
Jason was fantastic! I reached out to him for some support on quite a difficult situation. He was so friendly, easy to communicate with and professional from the start. The service he gave was efficient but still with the caring touch you would want for your beloved pet. Given that the situation was very delicate and not straightforward he made it so much easier. Will definitely be using Jason (Animals at home Cornwall) again and not hesitating to recommend to others who need in the future. Thank you again Jason!!
Rob has been a fantastic support for us and our cocker spaniel - Flo. His initial meet and greet left us in no doubt about his professionalism and experience. Throughout all his visits he's maintained a well thought out level of training and trust that Flo is well cared for and thoroughly enjoys all the exercise and training that we could hope for from a dog walker. We would recommend him with the highest regard to any future clients.
I must say first that I don't think that I am really good at this sort of thing, but have to honestly say that this is the most wonderful service that anyone could possibly ask for. Jason is amazing and really cares about animals and his job. I bought a kitten in Northwood, a long, long way from where I live in Cornwall. I don't drive and the thought of bringing a little animal back on the train, really didn't appeal to me. Jason was amazing from start to finish. Both the breeder and I were worried about the long journey and how it would affect the little kitten. Maybe we were both bordering on hysterics, but he kept in contact and reassured us completely. I knew when he left, stages along the way and ETA, which was spot on. He even travelled up and stayed the night so that he would be fresh to start the journey the next morning. When Jason arrived, he carried my kitten in and sat an watched him explore his new surrounding until he was satisfied that it was healthy an happy. I highly recommend this service. Jason also offers other services like cat sitting and feeding, dog boarding and walking, house sitting and many more, which I am sure he will give the same due care and diligence to. He is friendly and caring, takes time to discuss everything with us and our dog loves him. Photos and videos of their times together are a treasured treat. Thank you Jason for taking care of Simon and Pixie while we were on holiday for a week. They were happy and well cared for and didn't appear to miss us at all. He gave Pixie her tablet twice a day and sent us daily updates including pictures which reassured us. I would highly recommend Jason.
Appalling - really left us in the lurch. Would not recommend to anyone - beware. To explain Booked our cat for visits as asked via the portal which was confirmed by Jason in an email. He arranged a convenient time to come and meet the cat and what we required, ( once daily feeding), he cancelled this meeting and rearranged for the next day - never turned up, doesn’t answer phone messages or emails. Left totally in lurch with 4 days to go. If this is their standard of service, letting customers down at the last minute then please don’t put yourself through this dilemma and worry - reconsider and go somewhere else. Totally unreliable.
Always an awesome service with Animals at Home. Jason and Rob are fantastic and so accommodating with my work shifts. They are brilliant with my miniature dachshund, and I absolutely recommend animals at home in Cornwall.
Couldn't recommend more. After our dog Biggie started showing signs of aggression we weren't sure how to move forward. As we have small children and we had lost trust in him. We consulted with a vet recommended a behavioural specialist. Sheridan came highly recommended so we thought we give her a call. After one visit she stopped the aggression and taught us what we needed to do to move forward with re-enforcing good behaviours. As well as teaching us other techniques to strengthen our bond with Biggie. He is a different dog & we have full faith and trust in him again around our family. Sheridan is so knowledgeable and I could honestly not recommend her anymore.

We asked Sheridan for help with our 8 month old Jack Russell Terrier, specifically to address his walking on the lead issues. She totally exceeded our expectations! She's very knowledgeable, patient, friendly and even helped us with techniques to correct other issues. Our pups lead manners have improved dramatically after only one session. We can't recommend Sheridan enough!

We use the paddock for my three beautiful rescue dogs who love to spend their time in the paddock running like crazy and barking like mad to let off steam. The staff at the centre do such a wonderful job.

I have recently bought a 4 month old puppy and knew that 5 days after getting him, my partner and I would be going on a 2 night stay away. I was so anxious about leaving him this soon, especially when I didn’t know how he would be with other dogs etc… but from the very beginning Tracey made me feel at ease. I was crying when I left him but had nothing but smiles when I got regular updates including photos and videos. He was treated like any other member of the family and that meant so much at such an early stage. I’m glad I chose to socialise him and throw him in at the deep end and could not have wished for a better place to have him experience that! Currently writing a list of all dates he can go for another doggy holiday when we have things booked. Could not recommend enough. <3
Our pup Toby has been going here for about a year. Tracey has a natural affinity with dogs, and Toby adores her. All the dogs are treated as if they were her own dogs, and she makes them so welcome in her home. The place is on a farm and there is a safe, enclosed garden where the dogs can run, and also a secure field where she takes the dogs for longer runs and play. I always know that Toby is going to be safe and cared for here, and he always has so much fun. He comes home very tired and very content. At £15 for a whole day you will not find better value for money. We wouldn't take Toby anywhere else, it's fantastic.
Tracey’s home is a home from home for our pug and she has been going there since she was a baby and loves it!! She’s well looked after, tracey is professional, reliable and flexible and our pugs time there has helped her to become an amazingly sociable and friendly dog! Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Bracken our old labrador has stayed twice with Tracey, whilst we've been away on holiday. I can honestly say that we wouldn't leave him with anyone else now. They are taken in as part of the family, staying in the kitchen of their family home and have plenty of space to run around, in the garden and the field. Tracey always texts us, to let us know that he is ok. He always comes back, very happy and well cared for.
Tracey is lovely and so is her family. Use Tracey alot for my dog woody for home boarding. Woody loves going there. He has a great time and very well looked after. Home from home. Wouldn't take him anywhere else. I use Tracey alot when I go away for weekends. Your dogs will love it.

Nice secure space large enough for a good run around. There is also fresh water, somewhere to sit when dry, and a shelter for when the weather isn't quite so good! Nice gravel area to park, a bin for poo bags, and a sanitizer dispenser. All in all a good safe space, also have boarding kennels for a longer stay
Tracey looked after Milo our sprocker puppy for his weekend away. She was amazing at keeping us up to date with how he was doing, sending videos etc. Milo loved the open space. Highly recommend
Dropped our dog's off for 12 nights and had nothing to worry about as we was updated with texts and photos. The staff and owners are so helpful and friendly. When we collected the dogs they didn't want to leave. I can't recommend them enough, got to be the best kennels in Cornwall. Thank you so much for looking after our boys and will be seeing you soon.

Have been bringing my dogs here for over 5 years,Several times a year. Always been happy with the service and communication. However I am disappointed with their most recent stay as I was quoted back in march 2023 a price which clearly stated extra charges for the Xmas period! When the dogs were dropped off my husband received the invoice which had doubled for the extras for Christmas without any prior notice. I Queried the price with the owners to be told it was a typing error on their behalf. And they didn’t honour the original quote.
First stay for my two dogs under new owners, stayed 17 nights whilst we were away. As always dogs had a good stay always happy when drop them off, they stay in same pen at discounted price which is great value. Kennels clean and staff friendly and obviously love the animals. Great feedback on how dogs have behaved and things they have done during their stay. Highly recommended.
Odie Loved his stay i dont think he wanted to leave.Would definitely recommend this place to leave your beloved pet, the owners and staff are friendly and accomodating and offer alot of advice on the local area.
A sad day today for me at Truthwall Mill when Ian informed me he is moving on. Im sorry to see you go Ian and will always remember our chats, not forgetting your dear wife Helen of course. You, Helen and your staff always showed such professionalism when taking great care of our dogs over the past 15 years or so and they always enjoyed their stay I wish the new owners well but they have a tough job to follow you guys.
