Oh my...what wonderful pups Joey and Boris are! Well behaved, smart, funny, and great personalities...we fell in love with them and are looking forward to caring for them again in December (we miss them already!) They enjoy their play time outside and with their balls, but are equally content to chew on their bones or snuggle with people inside. Because we live nearby, we met Jane, Matthew and the pups before our sit, so when we came for the housesit it was like seeing old friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with Jane and Matthew: interesting, generous, and fun people! Communication and instructions were timely and detailed. Their home is clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. We felt right at home. Highly recommend sitting for Boris and Joey!
Julia is so accommodating and left the place spotless for us! The puppers Marilyn and Isabel are SO adorable! Great location, wonderful recommendations, super comfy bed and pillows, very nice bathroom, what more could you ask for?! Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
We had an very quality time with Monty and Joe. Both Monty and Joe were very loving and they loved to be around. Every day we had a routine of a loong walk with Monty and we all really enjoyed it. He is just the best for exploring the neighborhood. He is always ready to go and curious. Joe has awesome personality, full of energy and always ready to play. It was a pleasure to play and just spend time with both of them. Jane and her partner were very easy-going. Everything was well organized. The home is beyond comfortable and well-equipped and in a great location (and those views) with easy access to a lake and the center. We felt so welcome and would like to come again in the near future. Definitely a wonderful time. Thank you for the opportunity!
Wonderful cats, hosts, and house! The Maine coons are mellow, affectionate, and fun. Lisa and Jeff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to make the house clean and comfy, even providing breakfast food and coffee. There’s a spacious, well tended yard and garden. House furnishings are comfy and tasteful mid century modern. Kitties are well loved with a Litter Robot litter box, raw food diet, and lots of toys. Five stars! :-)
Richard and Kate were so warm and welcoming we immediately felt at ease. They were kind enough to pick us up from and to the station and spoil us with some delicious food!! They were both quite flexible allowing us to stay an additional night to keep to our travel plans. Richard nicely showed us around the town of Marple explaining some of the history and showing us many walking routes to take. Kate took us dog walking with the lovely Sid to show us one of his favourite parks and to check out his awesome ball catching skills. The area is absolutely beautiful to explore and walking distance to the main street. You will fall in love with Sid and Susie instantly- I know we did. Both Sid and Susie are so easy going and to experience their different personalities was so much fun. Sid is full of beans but also a big snuggle monster and Susie the same and will sleep on your lap the whole sit if given the chance. We cannot recommend this house sit enough! Thank you Kate and Richard for a wonderful time! 🙂
