Kara was exceptional... in all ways! She took such good care of our kitty that she (the kitty) didn't even seem to notice we were gone. Button (kitty) warmed up to her pretty quickly which doesn't often happen. Kara also left us nice notes and photos every day to make us feel more relaxed and comfortable leaving our fur baby in her care. She also left the house very clean , watered my plants, and stripped the bed and washed them. I highly recommend her. She's very dependable , reliable, responsible and tidy.
This was and will be the best sit I will have on this site. Richard and Jess were just so lovely to chat too before the sit. We shared travel recommendations ahead of their holiday. I started a little whats app group to ease their minds while away. They were very responsive with questions I had and loved the pics I sent on of their cats. I am in love with Greebit and Gink, I was genuinely really sad to leave them at the end. Greebit is so sweet, and gentle I woke up with her on the pillow next to me first morning. I just wanted to protect her from everything. Gink is such a character, equally gentle but has a little cute bossy side. When he wants to be fed or wants some treats. He took a little while longer to get used to me, but then was sitting on my lap in the end purring away! Richard and Jess's home is so adorable and very homely, everything you need to cook. The location was perfect for me, really close to restaurants, pubs and shops. The beach is 20 min walk, but buses are close. I loved my short stay in Brighton, and will think back looking after those beautiful kitties with very fond memories to come. Would go back in a heartbeat!
David and Mary are excellent hosts, very friendly and easy going, even when we had to stay an extra night because our car broke down. The cats are similarly easy going and independent, popping in and out to the garden through their cat flap. Chai lai is beautiful but likes to keep to herself and Mira is a bit shy but fun and playful when she gets to know you. Their modern house is very comfortable and has everything you'll need. Would highly recommend and gladly stay again.
We had a lovely time house sitting for Evelyn. Her home is spacious and comfortable, and well-located for enjoying Cornwall. Her two cats Princess and Tux are very affectionate and well behaved, and we really enjoyed spending time with them. Evelyn was very friendly and communicated well both before and during the sit. We would definitely recommend her sit to others.
I'm going to miss Woody... He is so chilled, very affectionate, easy dog and a pleasure to look after. Mouse had been very accommodating. She provided a beautiful home in a lovely setting with lots of quiet walks, most comfortable bed and a cook's kitchen. We wish we've stayed longer... Highly recommended!
Rondo is the most well-behaved dog! He is sweet and loving, but can play and run unlike most dogs his age. Caroline so nicely provided us with a car seat cover for taking Rondo on road trips, which he loved. He travels like a professional! We enjoyed taking him on our hikes and day trips. We missed him as soon as we had to leave Caroline's home. Caroline is a lovely host. She spent time familiarizing us with her apartment and the entire complex. Both her apartment and the complex are very well appointed. The complex has every amenity a person would want, and more. She was easy to reach when we needed, and very relaxed. We definitely would love to return again,
