Alex was absolutely brilliant - our cat (who is generally stand-offish with strangers!) was very content from the start and she read his personality perfectly. She sent fabulous photos, was really communicative and left the house in perfect condition. We'll always welcome her back and as our first Zeewoi she's set a very high bar!

Annie
Annie and her family were fabulous hosts! Clear written and verbal expectations, stunningly beautiful home, and great location. Lots of cute coastal towns nearby and Boston is less than an hour away.. They took Ziggy with them on this trip - (though we did get to meet him and he's a very good boy!) - so we just looked after the garden and the chickens. We had fresh eggs, tomatoes and blackberries everyday! The chickens are fun - they have quite the personalities. The rooster (Snickers) does a good job of protecting his ladies, which means you have to stay aware of him while tending the chicken coop. Highly recommend!

Leslie
Highly recommend this sit.
Leslie reached out very early on, to discuss any and all details of home, location, expectations for pet care. It was very helpful to have all this information and made the sit completely enjoyable. Pippa is a friendly pup, with very few desires, making her easy to read. Just show her the leash to make her joyful. She loves her walks and will saunter down the street, greet every dog she passes with her barks and communicate in 'gurgles' with variation of pitch to distinguish what she needs.
She wishes to be in your presence and will await your return at the stair, if you've gone onto another floor. She will search for you-so do announce your plan to move about the home. She may follow or rest as she is, as long as she's made aware of your expected moves.
There home is lovely and Leslie made sure each restroom was fully stocked with new soaps, lotions, clean towels (though we bring our own) and paper. The kitchen is a grand, with a large island making it easy to prepare multiple items concurrently. The neighborhood is peaceful with friendly neighbors and a few parks to choose from for longer walks. In one direction a small mall is just at the corner, with a convenient restaurant, chiropractor, ice creams and donuts. You could even find a new car by visiting one of dealerships down the road. In the other direction you'll find groceries and shopping area, or if you travel a few minutes by car, to downtown, you can stroll through many little stores.
We would love to come back for another visit with Pippa.

Dayton
I thoroughly enjoyed watching over Xena and Björn. Dayton and Anastasia’s home was comfortable and a perfect respite for me. It’s in an industrial area of Seattle, but I still felt safe. The cats are sweet and beautiful. If I were you, I would sit here and I hope I get the chance to again. Thank you for your fantastic communication and kindness, Anastasia and Dayton!

Verena has expressed her gratitude in the most abundant ways and so did her wonderful dogs on a daily basis. A gift from the universe :)

It was a relaxing and fun sit. Sitting Stella is probably the most relaxing sit I've ever done. She's very sweet, well-behaved, and  independent. She's pretty easy to read too as she'll give you hints when she wants treats or wants to go outside. She's popular among neighbors and passersby. Occasionally, she would walk on my keyboard while working or brush her face on my monitor when she wants to be pet. Oftentimes, I'll indulge her. But if I can't, she'll be totally happy just sleeping beside me while I work on the couch.

When it comes to Stella's parents, Kathy & Ernie were very kind & laid back hosts. They made sure that I had the best time at their place. Their instructions were clear and well-prepared. The house was newly cleaned when they left. Ernie even emptied the trash before leaving. They also set good expectations on what to expect at Alki during events - the Seattle pirates canon & 4th of July fireworks. All throughout my sit, Kathy had been responsive despite the time difference.

I really appreciate how generous they are with sharing their very beautiful home. It was a few steps to the beach, few minutes drive to multiple parks, and accessible to public transportation. I would definitely stay there again if given a chance.

We had a great time at Christine's place in Bermondsey with Happy and Billie. Christine's apartment is in an amazing location, super cool and very trendy. Happy and Billie are very relaxed dogs, they warmed up to us in literally two minutes. They love to go on walks all over the city and behave themselves well. We would definitely recommend this sit - we had a great time. Thanks Christine!
