Karen & Matt was such a great host, they took the time to show me the house and made me a great chicken risotto (my first time trying risotto). Kitty & Teddy, such adorable cats, love to snuggle and make sure you feel loved. Their home is something out of a designer magazine, full of beautiful eclectic design. I couldn't help to take pictures. Love the fact that their home is walking distance from the beach! :-) Thank you, Karen & Matt, for the opportunity.
I really enjoyed my sit at Heidi’s with the big guy (Odysseus) and the little guy (Buddy). The house was lovely and comfortable and Heidi went out of her way to make me feel at home. She left great instructions and was available for questions. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. I was able to explore a bit and go where I needed with no trouble. The dogs were both very sweet and easy to manage. They do love their food and treats! Heidi’s warnings about Odyssey grabbing whatever he can are to be heeded! I had no trouble walking Odysseus even though he’s very big. He doesn’t pull and just walks gently everywhere you want him to go. Buddy was happy to go walking for a little while, but he isn’t a distance walker! The fenced backyard made things easy too— they both went out when needed in the morning or at nighttime and between walks. It was also just nice just hanging out with them in the house and seeing their sweet personalities. I had a great experience, and would definitely do it again!
I have just finished a really lovely sit with sweet little Sie Sie in Crystal's lovely home in Buckingham. Crystal is a generous and inviting host, providing everything needed for a very pleasant stay and always displaying consideration for my well-being. Sie Sie is very easy to look after, taking her time to get to know you and then very happy to have you around the house, lying nearby on the floor or coming close to have her cheeks stroked or fur brushed. Crystal's house has a charming historic exterior, with a clean, attractive and modern interior. The guest bedroom is spacious, the bed is super comfy and the view is marvellous. Buckingham High Street and the bus station is a short 5-10 minute stroll. Stowe House and gardens is well worth the easy 40 minute walk. Crystal is a very good communicator and gave clear video instructions on how to feed and care for Sie Sie, and how to access the house and amenities. Crystal has also simplified the care of Sie Sie with automated feeding bowls. I very much enjoyed my stay and highly recommend Crystal and Sie Sie. You will find the house has a peaceful ambience and little Sie Sie will win your heart.
Everything was wonderful with this sit and experience. We were fortunate enough to meet with Allie, Brad, Owen and Leah and they showed us all through their beautiful home and gave us all the information we needed. They were very warm and welcoming. Maddy was so special because she reminded us of our first kitty. She was independent but liked being cuddled too. She enjoyed being outside so her litter box was only used a small amount. Snickerdoodle the hamster was fun and easy to care for. She likes being pet too. The guest room was comfortable and spacious, large family room and well equipped kitchen all added to an enjoyable stay. We found plenty to do in the area from hiking to the theatre. We highly recommend this sit if you have the opportunity.
We're so happy that we had a chance to meet Peppie and Levie and take care of them for over a month. Each pup has their cute quirks and unique personality traits and it’s amazing how quickly we bonded.. We're already missing Levie's floppy ears and adorable puppy eyes as she would sit on our feet and wait for pets, as well as Peppie's sweet presence, wanting to be close everywhere we went. Peppie was in the process of healing some eye ulcers while we were there so alongside some one-off extra care that we provided, it was a breeze looking after the two pups. They sleep a ton during the day, are super calm and thoroughly enjoy their walks in the beautiful neighbourhood. There is a nice trail through the forest, just a 5 minute walk away! It was also a pleasure to meet Janette and Gerry. It was lovely to keep in touch with them throughout their vacation, as well as spend time in their gorgeous home. It was so spacious and put together with such taste.. The well-thought out design and attention to detail made it so comfortable and cozy, especially for someone who works from home. Thank you very much, Janette and Gerry! We would pet sit for Levie and Peppie again in a heartbeat. :))
I can't say enough things about how amazing Wendy's house sit was! Pearl, Wendy's pup, is a wonderful mix of sweetie pie and enthusiasm. The schedule and detailed info that Wendy provides for Pearl is spot-on, which made things so easy. Wendy's home is warm and inviting, and the space for sitters is very much like a very cute Airbnb. Her neighborhood is very lovely, friendly, and walkable--Pearl loves a great walk. I would house sit again for Wendy and Pearl without hesitation. I hope you'll get a chance to fall in love with Pearl, because I sure did!
