From Wendi's attentive communication to her thoughtful guidance, our month-long stay felt like a seamless extension of family. We were deeply touched by the chance to meet Olive a day before, seeing their routine and sharing moments at the park to meet all her doggie friends. Olive's boundless intelligence and affectionate truly stole our hearts, especially as we celebrated her milestone 6th birthday together. Wendi graciously entrusting us with her car so Olive could enjoy her outings with other furry friends and indulge in going to the pet store. Witnessing Olive's quick attachment to us was incredibly heartwarming, as she seamlessly integrated into our lives, becoming more than just a pet but a cherished member of our family. As our time together comes to a close, the thought of bidding farewell to Olive leaves a bittersweet ache in our hearts. Yet, we depart with a deep sense of gratitude for the unforgettable memories and the bond we've created. We'd be honored to once again have the opportunity to care for Wendi and Olive, embracing the cherished moments and creating new ones together.
A wonderful stay in San Francisco: vibrant & multi-cultural area with plentiful supply of grocery stores, cafes and public transport all in immediate vicinity…and Duck was a delight to look after, being very talkative and liking laps of an evening time. Beautiful Dolores park nearby with amazing views of SF skyline; great cinema showing a range of diverse films and many shops for pottering around in. Paloma’s communication was great and the flat is cosy and chilled-out…and just 30 mins on BART to the airport. Thanks loads, Paloma, & please give Duck a hug from me 🌞

Would highly recommend. We have been using their services for many years to take care of our cats and have always been very happy with their services. After recently losing the last of our two cats they were very compassionate and helpful in making a difficult time just a little bit easier. Sonya has been great with Tilley who is a rescue dog inclined to be wary of new people and knows her own mind - so it was reassuring to see them get along so well at their first meeting! Tilley has now been joining group walks for a few months and has really come on well - she's much more settled in the car, zooms and plays with the other dogs and her recall is getting much better ( although it can still be abit hit and miss so not giving up the long line just yet! ) She always comes home happy, tired and often wet since she can't resist a muddy puddle or river paddle - Sonya often sends a short video of the walk and it's great to see all the antics! We’re new to Devon, recently relocating from Derby and in the process of doing this, leaving our fantastic dog walker behind!! This was probably one of the hardest things to do and since then, finding a replacement in our new area that meets our needs, has been a challenge and not as easy as I thought it would be. But then I found Sonya who owns Paws and Hoofs on the Moors, she came and met me and the dogs in our own home, talked about what we were looking for and what she could offer, and generally made me feel very confident that she would be a good fit for our dogs and would make it her priority to get to know them, understand them and take care of them as if they were her own……all very important things to us, when trusting someone else to walk our dogs for us whilst we’re out at work. And she is already proving to be a good choice and is just the perfect match for us and although it’s early days, so far the pooches look like they are enjoying their walks and Sonya reports back each time, to reassure me and let me know how they’ve got on during their walk. So pleased to have met Sonya and hope our new routine continues to work well for the pooches and she enjoys walking with them. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a dog walker and can’t fault the service so far!!

We met Sonya and Bosco a short while ago, and after a few meet ups and field walks, started to have her help us with our unsociable dog. We have utilised her both for non group walks and house sitting, which we have been extremely pleased with. On walks, our girl comes back happy and tired which is great, but most importantly when Sonya and Bosco house sat, we came back to a clean home and happy girl. Despite the awful weather Sonya had managed to keep the house clean, wash the used towels and even hoover up before we got back. Thank you Sonya and Bosco, highly recommended
My 2 dogs enjoyed their first walk with Sonya. There was torrential rain during the walk and my mutts came back soaked - but happy!! Sure they'll be as keen for the next walk.

As a fellow dog walker myself. I often see Lorna out on walks with her clients dogs, & if I felt in anyway she was not capable of controlling or having any dogs safe whilst in her care. I would not put one of my own clients dogs in her care while I am on maternity leave. She has a kind nature to her, & every dog she has with her shows how much they adore her. Highly recommended.
Fantastic service, Lorna is qualified and experienced, but above all she is passionate and had the best interest of my pets at heart. Nothing was too much trouble. Great value, trustworthy and reliable. I noted one negative review on Google , this is a million miles away from my experience and as someone who has over 15 years experience teaching Animal Science I can vouch for Lorna's knowledge and competence.
Lorna recently looked after my two cats Talis and Luca and she was brilliant. Very professional and caring. Having not left my cats before with someone I did not know, I was a bit nervous but after meeting her before I went away I felt very confident as it was obvious that she loves animals. I am keen to express my thanks to Lorna who kindly supported me last week when my normal dog walker was quite unwell and my husband working away and myself full time working, I was in a state of panic for Smartie and his dog walks. Lorna was able to pick up Smartie walks from the day I contacted her. Smartie came back a very happy pup. He really enjoyed his walks and especially when with other dogs of Hazy Days Lorna was professional, came to pick up Smartie when she said she would and just lovely to meet. You could tell that Lorna really cares for the dogs she walked and more importantly Smartie was always bouncing to get out of the door to get to Lorna when she arrived. Lorna is gentle, calm, focused on your animals well-being and obviously knowledgeable about animal behaviour and welfare. She walks my big labrador and he adores his walks with her. I trust her with a key to my home and even more valuable my dog. She is flexible with times and days, easy to arrange dates with and Merli comes back happy and tired after a run around with his best friend. Choosing her for dog walking was a great choice.
I visited Torbay and needed my Dalmatian walked as I had a meeting he couldn’t attend with me. I’m a fellow dog walker in another area of the country and I was blown away by Lornas service. The highlight for me is she brought 4 dogs (mine & my daughter’s) to my wedding so they could be in the photos. It was absolutely amazing and made my day. Having moved to the area we needed to find a new cat sitter (which I was quite nervous about following a bad experience with another company). Sarah was great with our older, quite timid cat. She sent photos daily to reassure us she was ok, gave her medication and even watered our plants. I absolutely trusted her with the house and our much loved cat and will be using her again when we next go on holiday.
Cannot thank you enough for helping us out with our French bulldog coco! We recently went away to Florida and our frenchie was staying at my father in laws house! Being away for a few weeks meant that she would need regular walks and exercise ! I came across Sarah and I’m so glad that we did! We had regular updates and photos and she gave coco the best walks! Sarah looked after our cockapoo Sid on my daughter’s wedding day and did a fantastic job including arranging a super photo with the bride and groom and being lovely with all the guests and family she met. Sid seemed really happy with her. We’d like our daughter to do the whole day again and would definitely want Sarah back for that! Highly recommended.

I had to leave my darling little Teddy for the first time ever with Jo as a dog sitter and I have to say initially I was so apprehensive as he has always been looked after at home. I could not have been more happy and cannot thank Jo enough. Teddy had the time of his life, made amazing fur friends, was taken on lovely walks and even developed some new passions that I never knew he had! Jo sent loads of videos and texts whenever I asked how he was and I truly cannot be more happier. Ted came back with a spring in his step , totally relaxed and contented to the extent I worry he is bored now he is home! To see him snuggled in with her dogs and having such a good time made my holiday go so much more smoother knowing he was in capable, loving and superb hands. I have met Jo on several occasions when she has brought her client’s dogs to me for grooming. Jo always goes above and beyond with dogs in her care, she has a very caring nature and has rescue dogs herself, she understands dogs needs and behavioural patterns. I would highly recommend Jo to anyone looking for someone to care for and exercise their fury friend.
Jo is a fantastic caring person who has a vast canine knowledge and our 2 dogs are always excited to see her which says it all. Would highly recommend and is much nicer than putting your dog into a kennel especially if they are rescue dogs, which she has a lot of knowledge about.

Gemma is an absolute god send when it comes to our boy Oscar! Oscar has been walking with Gemma for just under a year and I have found her reliable, professional and a real dog lover. Oscar has previously been some what challenging for other walkers but Gemma has reassured me that by working together we get the consistency and commitment that Oscar needs. When I get home Oscar is clearly well exercised and enjoying his nap after his walks. Communication is great and Gemma is very accommodating if we need to change days around due to work commitments. High recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️

So pleased to have found Gemma for my pup Smartie. She came and did a house visit to meet Smartie and chat to me. She then started taking smartie out with other dogs from a young pup and he has just come on leaps and bounds. Well socialised and very responsive to recall. He comes back having had just the best time. When he sees Gemma through the door he cannot get to her fast enough, he just adores her. Gemma is reliable and takes the upmost care of her charges I highly recommend her services.

Willow has been going to Flo for just over 2 years now and I know 100% that my precious princess is in the best hands in torbay! Flo specialises in small dogs and in my opinion that gives me more confidence to leave my little dog as I know Flo has complete control over her charges. Flo has had willow, ranging from a day for doggy day care, many one, 2 or more night overnight stays, to over a week whilst I went across the pond to the USA. Flo takes time to know her little guests and knowing a dog and all their quirky individual ways takes time. Each dog is different, as are humans. Flo has definitely made an imprint on not only willow's little heart, but mine also.
We are so pleased we have found Florence in a Torquay. Our Border Terrier loves staying at hers and meeting the other dogs. We can go away worry free knowing Oti is in brilliant hands. Thanks Florence!
I was very disappointed with this lady. I called to ask if she had any availability for my dog over Christmas and she raised her voice and said you can't leave your dog with someone last minute and then hung up the phone. My mother has just passed away and we're dealing with some very difficult family circumstances hence the need for last minute dog boarding. Florence's rudeness was uncalled for when she didn't even take the time to hear our personal circumstances, and I now feel even more upset. I think Florence ought to be more considerate when speaking to potential clients and not make judgements and jump to conclusions. I've never had any professional person speak to me so rudely or hang up the phone like that
Florence Bonneau is a woman of many talents. As well as working as a French translator and proof-reader she is a great teacher. I have been enjoying private French lessons with her for three years and my fluency has improved enormously thanks to her skill and enthusiasm. An added bonus for me - as a dog-lover - is that her home is also a dog hotel and I often get an extra tail-wagging welcome from her four-legged clients. Florence is a meticulous housekeeper; the dogs have their own separate quarters and everywhere is always fresh and spotlessly clean.
Florence always looks after Milo when we are away he loves his holidays with her.

We first contacted Paws Pals 5 years ago when my wife and I were both travelling extensively. At the time we needed a cat sitter for two cats for 6 weeks. Since then we have used them frequently for long and short periods of time. Over the years we have had many difficult requests, for example we adopted a stray tom cat 2 years ago that had to be kept apart from the other cats for a month and during that time we had to be away for a couple of weeks. Julia, who owns Paws Pals, did not mind in the slightest and got on with everything without any issues. We now have 3 cats who all need feeding different food, at different places and one of them is an indoor cat who requires a litter tray. I have to say Julia has been amazing over the years and we owe her so much. She is super responsive, efficient and flexible and we trust her completely. The cats never seem to miss us when we get back.

She was confident and even managed to get my oldest boys medicine down him (which I struggle to sometimes) Will only be using furever friends from now on and highly recommend to everyone!!
Elle is an amazing pet sitter and would highly recommend! She provided regular updates while we were away and lots of pictures/videos of her playing with our cat smoky. Overall we were very happy with Elle’s pet sitting service. Thanks again!
