We had such a good time looking after Toni’s furry family while she was away! We’d never looked after pigs before so weren’t sure what to expect but Toni gave us all the information we needed to feel prepared and equipped to take good care of them. One thing I’d recommend is to make sure you are able to be around for a couple of feeding sessions with Toni before she goes away to give the pigs a chance to get familiar with you and accept you as their fill-in feeder. We did this and had no problems with them being territorial with us as a result! After a few days there they started to be really friendly with us and their personalities started coming out. Flapjack, Maverick and Velvet are the sweetest, most loveable dogs, we loved taking them for walks and giving them cuddles. They are all really well behaved both on and off the lead, and they have great recall. The cats were mainly off exploring and would come in for feeding times, Zibeline was quite affectionate and would come to say a purring hello and give a headbump in the mornings. The area is lovely, with a beautiful big park nearby and easy transport options, and the house is comfortable and cosy with a beautiful big back yard. Toni and Snowy were welcoming and friendly throughout. and did everything they could to make sure we were settled in and had everything we needed. All in all we had an amazing stay and would happily take care of them again. Thank you!
Milo's adorable, a fun and sensitive little soul who makes a small whimper/grunt when he thinks something should be done. Joanne and Chris' lovely home is in a great walkable part of town and Joanne's wonderfully welcoming and gracious. I wouldn't hesitate to take this sit if you're offered the opportunity.
I loved petsitting for Emily! Koshka is a sweet and inquisitive little cat and it was so much fun to hang out with her. The apartment is large and in a wonderful location. Emily is very thoughtful and offered me so much information to help me make the most out of my stay. She even had fresh house slippers and a transport card ready for me to use! I had a lovely time pet sitting for her. I highly recommend this sit and would love to come back again.
Absolutely amazing house sit! We couldn’t have been happier to be accepted to this sit and had our best time there! Everything went so smooth and perfect with the house owners and the pets. Clotilde was very organised and easy to communicate with! She was always very responsive, informative, accommodating, hospitable and attentive to our needs and super nice since the beginning! She helped us with everything she could and we felt very welcome and comfortable all the way through. The location of the flat is perfect for exploring the city, very well communicated and their place is super nice and cosy with absolutely everything that you may need! The area is full of great cafe/bars, shops and restaurants nearby and a very big and green park is nearby. The cats, Coco and Thelma are simply adorable, we loved being around them and we fell completely In love with them! We got quite attached to them and miss them a lot already! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this sit to anyone! It is an amazing sit and we wished to have more time there. Hopefully we can come back one day in the future! Thank you Clotilde SO much for everything!! I think Coleen's listing was one of my favorite sits so far. Besides the fact that Ursula and Ariel are absolutely adorable and sweethearts, Colleen's apartment is very comfortable (especially the bed!) and clean. On top of it, the apartment complex offers nice amenities like a fully equipped gym, several pools, and even a lake and a local sports bar. There's bus stations nearby that take you downtown Denver. Colleen was very clear in her communication. Even the questions that were left, she always helped out immediately. I would always come back to take care of sweet Ariel and Ursula. I miss them already!
