What a delightful housesit! The location can't be beat and the animals were just lovely. Otis the big black lab was so well-behaved and is a sweet, gentle soul. He was great in the car, on walk and hikes, and enjoyed the attention he was showered with when we were out and about. The mischievous kitties Stanley and Rori were quite affectionate and fun, and also smart as they have been well-trained (yes, it's possible to train cats!). Pegeen and Kevin were great hosts, leaving detailed instructions and a bottle of red and white wine for me to enjoy! The house, gardens and neighborhood are beautiful and well-maintained. You would be lucky indeed to housesit for them. Thank you Pegeen and Kevin for a wonderful experience and lots of xoxoxo to the kiddos!!!!
We so loved sitting for Baxter and Mitzi! Hannah and Jeremy were great communicators and left clear instructions for us. We absolutely adore the cats and would highly recommend getting to know them. Such a great family! 😀
An amazing, tranquil stay in Devon with two playful Weimaraners and one majestic cat. I’ve enjoyed all the cuddles with the boys! Fiona was an excellent and super friendly host. She provided me with everything I could possibly need, including a detailed welcome pack. Great location, it was very convenient for nice pubs and places to walk, run or even cycle.
I enjoyed taking care of Campbell. She has a lot of personality, she is funny and towards the end she actually stayed with me on my last days. I definitely miss her. Shelley is a great host, very helpful, nice and always checking in to make sure everything was going well. Anyone who meets Shelley and Campbell will definitely want to sit for them again. I know I would.
I had an amazing time looking after all the lovely animals who each have a unique personality and are very friendly and approachable. Emma and Tim made me feel very welcome and they "showed me the ropes" very well before they left. I arrived on Saturday afternoon and they left early Sunday morning.Emma had also written down her own very detailed routine to which I referred daily at the beginning to ensure that I was not forgetting anything. I had great walks with the dogs in the fields adjacent to the house. The countryside was magical under the snow. I was well busy and spent all my time at the property. It was the week of the horrendous weather all over England and there were very cold days with a lot of snow. I made a fire every day and had time to relax by it with a medley of cats and dogs by my side. I loved it. Thank you Emma and Tim for giving me this wonderful opportunity to look after your beautiful house and beloved pets.
