We had such a wonderful stay at Trish’s place looking after Tinty and Jasper. We loved taking Tinty for walks around the neighbourhood which had lots of parks and walks to choose from (very close to Mt Kaukau and awesome cafes). Trish’s home is beautiful and had everything we needed. We were given clear instructions regarding the pets and the house and Trish was an excellent communicator - we loved sending our daily updates! Trish went above and beyond for us and we so appreciate this, we wouldn’t hesitate to house sit for Trish again.
I had a beautiful week taking care of Bunty! She is a total sweetheart- very affectionate, and she loves a walk and a snuggle. We had a great time exploring the many local woods and parks in the area. I was also able to stay the night before to get to know Bunty and Liz, which was lovely.
The dogs were super sweet and easy-going and easy to take care of. There were issues with the house. I didn’t have everything I needed to live comfortably for six weeks. I didn’t realize the hot water wasn’t working right away so I went a few days without. The grass only got cut once the whole time I was there. There were other small items as well. Monika is a very sweet lady and communicated quickly whenever I had a question.
Karen was great about communication, and very hospitable. We met before my stay and she assured me that “her house was my house” during my stay, and made sure that I had everything I would need. She has a very nice place, and it’s in a great neighborhood; walking distance to markets and restaurants. Penny and Cinnamon are both super sweet, and will give you lots of love whenever you’re in sight.
House and pet sitting for Ann-Marie and Adrian was an absolute joy. Communication was wonderful and we were given clear instructions as well as a real “home from home” experience. Their gorgeous pets Inkie and Stripes were a total pleasure to care for. The opportunity to share and care for their beautiful and comfortable home in a wonderful location made this the perfect experience for us. We hope to see these lovely people and their adorable pets again and look forward to staying in touch with them. Thanks so much for your trust and friendship.
I had a great time sitting for Kate and caring for Opie, VV and Nestor. Opie is really friendly and loves long walks, playing football and a cuddle. He walks really well and was a great companion to explore the countryside with! He was great company whilst at home too and was relaxed and affectionate. Vv and Nestor took a couple of days to be completely comfortable but once they were they were affectionate and friendly and would keep me company around the house, especially VV who loved being stroked and to sit with me. Kate was really welcoming, made sure I knew where everything was and made me feel right at home. It’s a lovely home in a beautiful village and great to explore the local countryside and not far to bigger towns/cities. I’d highly recommend this sit to anyone :)
