Anna was amazing. Attentive, brilliant communicator and took on my two horses as well! It was complicated as they were being medicated but she just did an amazing job. House was spotless, all exactly as described by other zeewoi people. Can’t recommend enough. Safe travels guys x
We have just spent a wonderful two weeks looking after the 'Dream Team', aka Myar and Linus, in the most beautiful restored farmhouse in the North Norfolk countryside near Syderstone. We feel blessed that Jeremy and Paul chose us to look after their much loved pets, they are the sweetest dogs and will capture your heart. Myar is such a character, she is still young and has loads of energy, she loves walking and could spend all day retrieving a ball, if you let her. At ten years of age Linus is very chilled but easily keeps up with Myar. He is great off the lead and stays close by, both dogs are very well behaved and great when taken out for rides in the car. At the end of the day L&M are happy to curl up next to you, or on you 😉, on the sofa and are great at sleeping through the night in the utility room. Both dogs will always greet you enthusiastically when you have been away, even for a short period, and their whole bodies wiggle with excitement. The added bonus of housitting at Wicken Pond Farm were the ten chickens and five Indian Runner Ducks - fresh eggs everyday. The poultry were easy to care for and a couple were even happy to be picked up and stroked. Jeremy left great instructions on how to care for them and what to feed them. There are some lovely walks not far from the farm or you could venture a bit further and head to the coast. We went to Syderstone Common daily with the dogs as there are some great circular walks, the heather was beautiful and there are lots of different birds visiting. Also, head to the Village Hall in Syderstone, the dogs know the way, where this a map of walks in the local area. Jeremy was great with communication before and during our sit and his instructions were very comprehensive. We stayed with Jeremy and Paul the night before our sit which was lovely as we got to know them and the dogs before the guys left early the next day. Wicken Pond Farm is very spacious and really well set up, the kitchen is a cook's dream, the shower is great, the bed is super comfy and there is a lovely garden and outdoor area to sit out and enjoy the Summer sun. We had the most wonderful dogsit at Wicken Pond Farm and would highly recommend you apply. Jeremy and Paul are very generous hosts and extremely welcoming. It was hard to say goodbye to Myar and Linus, they really are the 'Dream Team'.
I had a great and peaceful time sitting on the lovely and communicated Whiskey and on the gentle and sweet Hazel!🐈⬛🐈 They were such a good friends it’s amazing to see from the side 🤗 Beth and Andrew were the most welcoming and kindest.. opening there beautiful, organized and clean home in a great area of Lisbon.. Thank you for everything ✨🪷🤍
Had a great time looking after Gingy, a very handsome boy who loves laying in the sun & cuddles on the sofa . Dieter & Antoinette were the best hosts, they have a beautiful home & couldn’t have done more for me. They were always available to offer great advice for my first time in Canada.
Charlie Brown and Billy are lovable rascals. They spent most of their time cuddled up with us, whether that was on the couch or in bed. Walking them was relatively easy, so long as we did not get too close to other dogs -- Billy in particular is very protective. Ella the cat was just as Jill and Wayne described her -- elusive! She came in for food but did not want to socialise. Jill and Wayne's house is comfortable and well-appointed (especially the kitchen). Our stay there was easy with all the modern conveniences one could wish for. The area around Preston offered some interesting outings, and the boys travelled well in the car. We would love to return and look after Charlie, Billy, and Ella again.
Beautiful, clean home in a safe neighborhood with easy access to everything you could possibly need - explore! Highlights; Axel will tease you hourly with his little jumps and adoring eyes to go outback and throw his toy. At night he’ll dive under the blanket crashing against your body. His doggie door gives a restful sleep. A “movie theater” in the super cozy lush basement - gigantic TV. A spotless hot tub with patio lights and privacy. Amanda and Joel are a true pleasure! You will be lucky to meet such wonderful adventurous people!
Petre and Geanina’s home was a fantastic place to stay. Esther, Jazzy, and Rollo were an absolute joy to care for - so sweet, affectionate, and easy to look after. Their home is lovely and spacious with a big terrace overlooking the neighbourhood. It’s in a great position to explore all the nearby cafes and restaurants, and only a short tram ride into the city. Petre and Geanina were great to deal with. They were always prompt with communication and happy to respond to any questions. They were also kind enough to let us arrive a night early when a transport strike meant we wouldn’t be able to get to Milan on time. Would definitely recommend this house sit and would sit again.
