Cheryl, Bill, and Brassy all get 5 stars! This was our first experience of pet sitting and we must say it was a joy! After chatting with Cheryl and Bill, we were not surprised to find their Welcome Book organized, detailed and complete. Everything we needed to know was available there and sometimes duplicated in appropriate places in the house, (i.e., directions for the TV were also by the TV). This could have been a difficult endeavor in that me and my husband do not speak Spanish and we would be in a Spanish-speaking country. Bill and Cheryl made sure we had contacts who could help us if needed which really reduced any stress we may have felt otherwise. They also made sure that their neighbors and friends knew we would be at their house taking care of Brassy while they were away. All of these things made it a real pleasure to take care of a very sweet and elegant dog. “Miss Brassy” has a specific schedule, and she adheres to it without fail. You could almost set your watch to her gentle reminders for when it was time for a walk, meal, or snack and when it’s time to take her medicine! (I think that is all about the peanut butter. Maybe?) An added bonus to this sit is the lovely house and yard. It is truly Panamanian with an enormous outside living area and hummingbirds galore! Since my husband and I are moving to Panama permanently, we also benefitted by observing a very well-organized Panamanian house. We will definitely copy a lot of Cheryl and Bill’s “household hints and practices”.
They Ian and Dina where so lovely, wonderful people, and Cookie is the best dog ever ❤️ she is so adorable well behaved and cuddly, the house is awesome, it was me and my friend and they let us use both rooms, and pick us up in the airport, I would recommend this sitt forever, also the Chiswick area is amazing 😍
Staying at Helen’s beautiful home and taking care of both Popcorn and Biggie was a delight! I had the best time with them and also enjoyed my time in London very much :) Helen gave me all the information I needed, made sure I had several contacts of friends and family to contact during her time away and was always checking in to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed! Very grateful to have been able to stay here and meet the two most lovely dogs ever, I genuinely did not want to leave them at the end!!
It would be very hard not to love Orson and Bean, they are adorable! To me, one of the best parts of this sit was walking the dogs in this beautiful green neighbourhood of Brussels. The house and garden are also amazing. Marie Jo is very kind, approachable and welcoming. Communication before and during the sit was very smooth. Loved the experience and would highly recommend to anyone!
We had a great time at the house and with the dogs. Wendy in her family are super friendly and welcoming. The property is about 15 minutes drive away from Siena and about 1 hour from Florence as well as from the beach. We slept next to the manor in an separate holiday house with bathroom. We love the whole property with this amazing garden, pool and the view. The 4 dogs are super cute and easy to handle. Leila always wanted to play with a stick or ball. Rudy and Winnie run through the forest. Rufi is more relaxed. When we whistled they came directly. We walked the dogs at least one hour a day which was a lot of fun. We highly can recommend this housesit and wish to go back soon.
Alexis was great! She made sure we knew where to find anything we needed and let us know what was available in the area before she left. We fell head over heels in love with her dog, Walter. He is the sweetest little ball-obsessed doggo we've ever met and, if our schedule/travel plans lined up just right, we'd be more than happy to spend some time with him again! The little studio apartment was very comfortable and the neighborhood is adjacent to the RiNo district with lots of wonderful little bars, breweries and restaurants that you can easily walk to or grab a Lime and ride to.

I am constantly changing my schedule; adding and subtracting days during the week...they are superb at keeping track of your needs and your dogs' needs. They are also great communicators...if anything is wrong (dog seems sick, dog limps during a walk, etc.) they always let me know. Justine has been helping us with dog walking & boarding services for about 2.5 years. She has been 100% reliable with mid-day dog walks; Justine was even coming twice a day during the puppy stage. She has a beautiful home with a large fenced in yard where she boards the dogs. My dog (Abby) has stayed more nights than I can count and she always comes home happy! Abby gets plenty of exercise and time with other dogs while she’s there; I never have to worry about her. Besides that, Justine is flexible with scheduling and has always been able to meet our needs or even last minute requests. She is a true animal lover at heart and cares for the dogs like her own. Destiny has been wonderful and our Trixie loves going to visit! She's got a great set up in the back yard and will share posts or pics of your puppers throughout his or her stay. We've used her for boarding services a few times in the past year and she's always been accommodating. Destiny is wonderful to work with and I would recommend her to anyone in the area!
I was so nervous to put my puppy in daycare, and I wasn't sure how I could trust someone else with her. But once we met Destiny, I knew she would take such good care of my baby! Destiny is so professional, reliable, trustworthy, extremely responsive and communicative, and most importantly she loves my puppy so much. Mia lights up when she sees Destiny, and it makes me so happy! I work a very demanding schedule, so I don't get to socialize my girl, and I can't really get her outside to play, so the days that Mia is at Destiny's Daycare are perfect! She has so much fun playing with all her friends, gets all her energy out, and comes home happy and exhausted! I 1,000% recommend Destiny's Dog Daycare/Boarding! Wouldn't trust anyone else. 🙂

Destiny is so phenomenal with our two dogs! They love going to see her and they both freak out with excitement whenever we pull on her street. She’s also always available even on short notice, and very communicative on how the pups are doing, even sending us pictures regularly. Over Thanksgiving I had to board my 4 year old German shepherd for the very first time. Destiny did a meet and greet with us and explained everything in detail and made me feel comfortable trusting her with my fur baby. We had a terrific experience today with Destiny Dog Daycare. Last minute need to be in Connecticut from Long Island and day boarding for our Mini Golden Doodle. We have been blessed to have Emily and her sitters in our lives for the past 3 years. We first sought out pet sitting when our two dogs (who have since passed away) were getting older and needed someone to visit each day. Emily helped us give them the best quality of life possible as they reached the end of their days. Since then we’ve adopted 2 young dogs and have continued with daily visits. We also now have 2 cats and have been grateful for support with overnights so all of the furbabies can stay home where they’re most comfortable! Mellie & E took care of our furkids for a week, with such amazing care and dedication, including above-and-beyond duties such as saving a turkey mom from our fenced area!! They were incredibly patient with me, and showed loving tenderness with our elderly pets. They gave perfect updates, were always on time, help this very nervous dogmom relax with hilarious and adorable pictures of each pet being loved. They cleaned dishes, litter boxes, even vacuumed!!! I do not have enough words to thank them. So grateful!! It really felt like having very very close friends take care of our pets, and home. 100 STARS!! THANK YOU!!
This review is long overdue. I cannot recommend Emily and her staff highly enough. Last Thanksgiving we traveled to spend the holiday with family 6 hours away. I received a call from Emily that one of my dogs (Ellie) didn't seem well. Emily continued to monitor Ellie, and on Thanksgiving day she was unable to stand up. One of Emily's employees met her at my house to help load her in the car so she could take Ellie to the emergency vet in town. Ellie was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Emily arranged for Ellie to be picked up and brought home with her medication. This was all on Thanksgiving day. Emily felt that Ellie needed pain medication and made yet another trip to the vet to pick them up. She cared for Ellie as if she was her own pet. When I took Ellie a week later for a follow up visit at her regular vet they gave her an injection of antibiotics. Ellie had an allergic reaction to the shot about an hour later when the vet's office was closed. We rushed her to the emergency vet who diagnosed her with extreme renal failure. We had to make the agonizing decision to put her to sleep. We were absolutely devastated. This sweet girl was a rescue and was the sweetest, happiest, most grateful, loving little soul. Although she came to us in very bad health, she seemed to understand all that we did to help her which only made us love her more. The day after we put her to sleep Emily sent us flowers. I was so moved by how much she truly cared about our family. If you are looking for someone to care for your fur baby while you are away, you could not find a more trustworthy, responsible or caring person.
I’ve been using emily for about a year now - and I cannot say enough good things about her and how she runs her business. I absolutely LOVE heather who walks my dog almost every day during the week - emily is always so responsive, kind, flexible and they have made me and my dog much happier with their services. Emily is always willing to help me out last minute with sitting if something comes up and all around just runs an amazing business. If I could give TEN stars I would! I had an emergency medical crisis and Emily saved the day as I was stressing about having my English Bulldog and German Shepherd Dog overnight, alone, no walk etc if I had to stay overnight in the Hospital. The dogs LOVED her. And vice versa. It was a kissing fest ! And, when I was ok metro leave the Emergency Room and call Uber for a pickup, Emily INSISTED upon picking me up herself. And she had to come from Newtown ! This is an awesome pet sitter and an even more AWESOME person !

Awesome service - very easy to get in touch with Judy and schedule catsitting. I’ve used Snagglefoot multiple times and it’s always been great (and reasonably priced!). Judy came over to meet me before the first time to make sure she knew exactly what my cat needed. Riley my sitter was amazing and texted me regular pictures and updates to let me know how things were going.
This place is UNBELIEVABLE. I was so excited to work with Judy and her team after reading a five star review on yelp. I needed a pet taxi to take my dog from daycare to my home so I called Judy and asked for a consultation; she came over the very next day (A Saturday) to meet my dog and discuss services for the following week. My dog is an 18 month old, 90lb labrador retriever so she explained that Anthony would be best to pick up my dog because he is "comfortable with big dogs". Three days later, on Tuesday, Anthony was supposed to pick up my dog from daycare at 5pm. I get a call at 3:30pm from the daycare (that I trust implicitly) with a worried associate on the other end. She explained to me the following scenario: A young, small man - probably around 18 and 150 pounds, arrived at the daycare to pick up my dog. The associate also noticed that he drove a two-door vehicle. He asked for my dog and was surprised when a 90 pound dog came to the door, ready to leave. Anthony immediately showed worry, couldn't control my dog, and then expressed concern about ruining the upholstery of the car - during this time, he also mentioned that he wasn't even supposed to pick up this dog, he was only supposed to go to the house and let him out but it was changed last minute AND he was not informed of the dog's size (he thought the dog was only going to be 20 pounds). The associate asked Anthony to step out and call his boss to find another person to pick up the dog - the daycare associate knew not to let my dog in the car with Anthony. After calling Judy, Anthony came back in and informed the associate that Judy had no idea my dog was so large because she had never met him. He also said that he would be leaving and she would be coming to pick up my dog. At this point in the story, I ended the conversation with the associate and immediately called Judy. She informed me that Anthony could not take my dog home because my dog ruined the upholstery in his car - Judy was just leaving to go pick up my dog. At this point, I informed her that she was not to pick up my dog from daycare on that day or any other day. Anthony was an hour and a half early. I asked for my dog to be picked up at 5pm because I wasn't going to be home until 9pm. My dog is still a puppy and I don't want him to be in his crate longer than 4 hours. 6.5 / 7 hours would have been too long for my dog. My dog was never in Anthony's car so not only did Judy try to lie to me and tell me that it was my dog's fault, she also lied to her employee about meeting my dog, and did not prepare her employee for his job. I am appalled but her unprofessional behavior and lack of tact. As I said, UNBELIEVABLE.
Probably the kindest most trustworthy dog adorers ever! My 2 long haired doxies have so much fun with Jamie & he is obviously completely smitten with them! He sends heartfelt texts with photos every time he walks my duo & I always feel relieved to know he’s there for them, when I can’t be. 100% recommend!

We can’t say enough good things about Greg and Pappy Paws. It is very hard to find a reliable, responsible and loving dog walker you can trust — and Greg is all of those. He took time to get to know our dog and us during an initial consultation. Tess can be shy and she quickly warmed to Greg. She is super happy and relaxed on the days he visits. He sends pictures and updates with each visit, and takes Tess for full, long walks. Communication is also prompt (and Greg is patient with my many questions). Scheduling and billing is all online, which makes it very easy. Overall, Greg is wonderful — I highly recommend!

He was very thorough in his assessment of our dog as we walked thru a multi-page questionnaire. I was impressed by the preparation and care that went into the questions. We were very reassured in going away that someone as caring and professional as Greg was looking after our loved one. During our trips, we got frequent texts with pictures which was very nice. Greg walked our 1 year old Chocolate lab for the first time this weekend. He was punctual and thorough and is always quick to respond to any messages. I have been searching for a dog walker since my hours can be long and unpredictable. At the initial meeting Greg stated that he had other clients with similar concerns. It is great to know if I get stuck late hours at the hospital he is willing to walk and feed my pup. He responded quickly and Mia loved meeting him. I had a hard time finding pet sitters for my vacation (my pups are not pleased with strangers) but Greg and Randyn were patient, encouraging and totally professional. They sent pictures and videos daily, so I wasn't worried about how the pups were doing. I never write reviews but I felt the need after my experience with Whiskers. My dog has a stomach issue and requires meds 3 times a day. Before his stomach issues we always used a local dog sitter who would take dogs into his own home. Since then we have only used sitters who can sit at our house. We had a 15 day trip scheduled for September and found out 4 months before the trip that our regular sitter would be unavailable. We started researching new sitters immediately . As I am sure you know, it's not easy finding someone to trust to stay with your pet and home. Our vet recommended Whiskers and 2 other sitters. We met with the Whiskers owner (Liz) twice. Once alone and once to introduce use to the sitter she was assigning to our dog/home. For some reason she said it would be an issue to have the same sitter for all 15 days (we did not want multiple sitters - tried it once and it was a mess). Eventually we were introduced to someone who could commit to all 15 days. During this meeting we asked for references for the actual sitter. Liz seemed upset by this. She wanted to provide a reference to her company only. I wanted a phone number to speak to someone who had used the sitter she was assigning to our dog. Liz said she would get back to me. We also asked for the sitter's phone number so we would tell him when there was a package coming and to ask for an occasional photo of our dog. Liz said no - all communication would have to go through her. I reminded her that we would be in a time zone 7 hours ahead and that we needed direct communication. Again, Liz would think about it. 3 days after the meeting (4 weeks before we were leaving from our trip) we received an email from Liz saying we were not the right fit. We emailed back and called. She would not speak to us. No more contact. How could you do this to anyone? It took us months to find and agree on Whiskers. What a horrible experience. I can't remember the last time I was so upset by something a vendor did to me. The only thing I can think of is we were fired because we asked for a reference and a mobile number. I would never ever recommend a company that treats people this way. ZERO STARS!
Whiskers Pet Sitters have been the most responsive and dependable pet sitters for our 4 furry children. They are a big part of the family. We had to move 2 years ago from MA to CT and one my biggest concerns was how are we going to find a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter. We tried a few but none of them we could count on long term. I then tried the owners at Whiskers and they have been nothing but fabulous these last 2 years. My wife and I travel for work often and take extended vacations and my pets are well cared for! I get pictures twice a day from them and they also do other things if needed, like getting my mail, watering my Christmas tree, basically anything I have asked of them, they have done. If your pets are as important to you as ours are to us then you should give Whiskers a try.
Marie and I have used Whiskers for the past 5-6 years. Liz and Barbara take care of our pets as if they were the parents for Mickey, Scooter, Diego and Jeter. Liz and Barbara and their assistants are reliable, thoughtful and trustworthy. A couple of times, they even took one of older pets to the vets for examination and treatment. They kept us fully informed and were very helpful in allaying our concerns about our pets. Also, they always send us "pet" pictures each day via text, so we get a quick "visit" with our loved ones. You could not find a better prepared and more dedicated pet sitters.
I’ve been lucky to have Whiskers in my life almost since its start- many many years ago. Liz and Barb run the most professional business which is so necessary when they or their bonded staff are coming to ones home and keeping a watchful eye on our dog. There has never been an unsatisfactory incident of any kind-and in fact- just the opposite as we know how loved our dog is when they take care of him. I’d recommend them unequivocally and I’ll hopefully have them in our life forever!!!
