John and Sally are the most welcoming, kind, and interesting people; and their cats and home are absolutely delightful. We couldn't have felt more comfortable in their place, as they made it clear we were to help ourselves to anything we needed. Sally also wrote a comprehensive reference manual that answered any and all questions, which made it easy to get oriented -- and they were never more than a quick text away if we had any issues. In addition, their home is spacious and filled with incredible art and books; the grounds surrounding their property make it feel like a true oasis in the Portland suburbs. And, last but not least, their cats were wonderful. Bodie is a big boy who loves attention and will cuddle with you on the couch; Carson was a quite a bit tougher to win over, but after almost a month of keeping her distance, we were able to see how sweet she really is once she's comfortable around you! If you have the opportunity to sit for them, I can't recommend them highly enough!
What a lovely housesit! We only wish it had been for longer. Chips and Sal are such a delight. Some of the cutest cats we've had the pleasure of sitting, they had us in stitches daily with their antics and adorableness. Aaron and Sarah were a pleasure to talk to, and they made sure we had everything we needed. Their home is absolutely lovely and quite comfortable. It's right in the middle of a wonderful neighborhood in Sellwood, great for a visit to Portland. If you have the opportunity, we'd recommend this sit in a heartbeat!
We loved our stay with Oscar and Sky! The house is tucked away in a newly developed neighbourhood that we found to be very private. Both animals were super low maintenance and very affectionate, we loved our cuddles on the couches at night time. Gemma left instructions for us that were very easy to follow. We would recommend this sit to all future sitters!
