Suzanne was a great host! She left clear detailed instructions on how to take care of Simon and her home while she's away. She's also very generous and makes you feel welcome immediately. The home was clean and easy to keep tidy. Simon was the nicest cat you'll meet. He will let you know when it's time for his next meal and will sleep right next to you most of the day. You couldn't ask for an easier sit.
We spent 3 weeks in Kauai with Monkey and Gizmo and we made the best memories ever! Seth and Megan are lovely and easy going, they were always available if something came up. Their house is cozy and comfortable, located in a very local neighborhood, far from the resorts, which was perfect! We were able to use their car which gave us the opportunity to explore the island. Monkey is a very easy going boy, he will come to your bed and cuddle at night, during the day he is more independent and likes to be out and about. Gizmo is the sweetest, he loves to play and take naps next to the window. He takes quite a bit of pills but he is used to it and won't fight too much. This has been one of our favorite sits ( and we have done quite a few lol) and truly a wonderful experience, we hope to be able to hang out with the boys again in the future! Aloha! Anaïs & Steven
We didn’t know what to expect, and we were so blessed! This is a peaceful neighborhood and beautiful, comfortable home. Hard to believe how cozy this home is, because it’s so big. We didn’t even go upstairs. We stayed in the Master Suite. Another master suite and a 3rd bed/bath were available on the main floor, but we chose the main master because that’s what Kap and Buck wanted. Buck slept at our feet, and Kap slept on his mat on the floor, at the foot of the bed. Penni and Kallie slept in the other master with Koko and Kissy. We were up having coffee when they woke up. They didn’t want to go out right away but let us know when they were ready. We let them out, fed the girls then fed the boys. They were all happy! Walks in this neighborhood are fantastic. No traffic in the gated community and beautiful scenery. Pennie and Buck loved the trails! Great food, drinks, and live music are less than 10 minutes away! This was an enjoyable sit. Very quiet and relaxing. We would love to come back again!
We had a lovely time staying in Gavin and Linda's comfortable and tasteful home. Oakley is a lovely boy, so gentle and calm but it was funny to experience his personality too. We had some great walks from the doorstep to Coldingham village, St Abbs and Eyemouth with him in this fab location.
We enjoyed getting to know Linda and Gavin over drinks and a lovely meal together before they left for their holiday. Thankyou.
We were provided with a fantastic ensuite bedroom and slept well and woke up to beautiful sunrises visible from the bedroom window.

Koshka is the most affectionate and undemanding cat that we've had the pleasure of cuddling and would love to meet her again. The house is in the most wonderful location for scenery and hill walking and we would definitely recommend Cautley Spout where we had the most idyllic day. Jen was very easy to communicate with and we felt very welcome in her home.
We truly loved our stay in Nick and Kelly’s. We loved everything about it: two very idiosyncratic and loving cats, who have plenty of independence, their home is spacious and beautiful (every nook and cranny has humor, beautiful art, and love), and Nick and Kelly are spectacular people. Liked this place at first but they will lie to you saying your dogs doing perfect with no behavioral issue only to then give them a bad report card and require you to bring them more. If you move and need to switch day cares with credits left they refuse to give the refund due to it not being a last minute move which is fine but with 8 credits left you think they would at-least give some money back. Nice staff shitty owner's bad report because my dog had the “zoomies” when he got there. Give me a break what two year old dog does not have a bunch of energy when he first arrives to a place with a bunch of other dogs isn’t that why people take there dogs to day-care. Seems like they give the bad report just to try and get more money out of you.
Our experience at Kamp K9 has been absolutely amazing. Harper loves all the Kamp Kounselors and they love her just as much! I recommend this daycare every time i see someone looking. Harper has made so many friends and she is so tired when she comes home from playing all day! A tired doodle is a good doodle!! Look at that smile!
We are Kamp K9 fans! Is there a place to give more than 5 stars in excellence for Kamp K9, if so, where is it? I have only wonderful things to report about this new business that started mid-March, just as COVID was shutting down most businesses. This essential service is a small doggie daycare with loads of attention to detail and Jenn, the owner, persevered and stayed open and for that I’m so appreciative because we really needed her. Why? Our little Jack Russell, Tucker, was killed by a car at the end of February and it devastated our family, including our other young dog Bowie who was left alone, confused and without her playmate. Bowie is a dog that plays with another dog and she was so lonely and scared because Tucker gave her the confidence to be with other dogs, without him she was lost. Kamp K9 to the rescue. Jenn is always ready to give me feedback on Bowie’s progress and she makes sure Bowie is playing with other appropriately behaved dogs so as not to make her fearful, and I can also watch Bowie on Kamp K9’s live webcams. Bowie needed other dogs, even just a few, and under Jenn’s constant supervision and compassion she began to get involved and play again. Her timidity and shyness has all but evaporated and now she really looks forward to her weekly visits to Kamp K9 to play with her fellow Kampers. It’s because of Jenn’s care and attention to EACH DOG’S NEEDS that Bowie has shown real improvement. Thank you so much Kamp K9 and Jenn for helping to heal our little family.
Bowie has the absolute BEST time at Kamp! She falls asleep within two minutes of driving home. The staff are knowledgeable, responsible, and truly care about our pups’ safety! I’ve never loved a doggy daycare more!!

We have been bringing our pup to Kamp K9 for a month now and I cannot say enough GREAT things about it. Our fur baby is a really good dog at home but I wasn’t sure how he would be at daycare. From our first meeting with the team at Kamp K9 I felt so comfortable and at ease. They got right down with him and showed him as much love as we did and he took right to them. We got the tour of the place and we were really impressed. I couldn’t wait to have him start. He has a lot of energy so I am so thankful for a place/staff that I trust my dog with to get exercise and love while he is there. She has helped to get him adjusted to the pup pool and plays ball tirelessly with all the pups there. Now he can’t wait for the days to go to Kamp. I highly recommend Kamp K9 - they are compassionate and truly care about our pup.
Kamp K9 has been so incredible for our Great Dane, Lilly! She loves seeing Miss Jenn and gets excited in the morning when we ask her if she wants to go to daycare. If you let them know a certain command that you are working on with your pup, they will work on the command with your pup! We love all the pictures and Pawties our pup participates in! Any money you pay towards your pup going truly goes back into the facility! And you can tell! Cannot say enough pawsative things about this establishment!
My dog Patches (labradoodle) loves going to The Barking Dog! The staff there are amazing and really care about all the dogs. This is the first doggy daycare I’ve been too but I don’t think I’d ever change places. If you’re looking for a place with caring staff, great trainers, wonderful groomers, and a pool.. then The Barking Dog is your place!
We love the barking dog! They are reasonably priced for the service they provide, and took wonderful care of our pup while we were out of town. They even took some photos of her playing with the other dogs, and gave her an extra treat while she was there. They are great for people who need to board their dog sometimes to travel, but want them to be taken care of and loved well. Highly recommend!
I knew from the moment I brought my girl Elsie in for her evaluation that The Barking Dog - Hooksett was an amazing place. The vibes were 👌🏼 I love that they require dogs to do an eval day before officially starting so they can get to the know the dog, get a feel for which group is right for them, assess if they are ready for daycare, etc. They even gave a report card at the end of her first day to let me know how she did, along with some coupons! She is an anxious girly and I was so nervous about how she would do but the staff were so gentle and patient with helping boost her confidence. Now she drags me in the door because she’s so excited to see her human and dog friends! Can’t say enough great things about this place - highly recommend!
My dog was sprayed by a skunk and needed a de-skunking bath! I called around to many places and didn’t get calls back. Barking Dog called back quickly and was able to groom my dog. Becca did a wonderful job with my anxious dog! I will definitely be using Barking Dog’s services again! Thank you Becca!
The Barking Dog staff are very courteous and professional and are very loving to their canine guests. My dog always looks great after his visit and although he is happy to see me, he always walks out of the grooming door with a smile on his face! Highly recommend!
I went there tonight to tour with my girlfriend as we have a 5 month old lab puppy.EVERY SINGLE DOG WAS CRATED FOR HOURS AT A TIME. When we arrived we were shown one room inside with turf and no dogs or toys inside. We were shown another room out doors with again no toys or dogs. Instead all the dogs were in crates in two additional rooms. They were barking and crying. If you care about your dog. Don’t send them here. A dog goes to daycare for fun not to be crated for 5 hrs at a time!
We have used the Barking Dog for daycare, bathing and boarding services for the last 9 months and have had a wonderful expirience. Our dog (Brandy) is always happy at drop off and greeted by name by the staff. Highly recommend!
My 160lb Greater Swiss is super anxious, and hates having his nails clipped… loud noises.. basically afraid of his own shadow. Becca at The Barking Dog is amazing with him… takes her time, and really understands how to work with anxious dogs.. highly recommend the Barking Dog for grooming!
Our dog stayed overnight for five days on his first visit here. He had a great time, and the staff was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this place, they love their furry guests!
We have used the Barking Dog for both daycare and training for our puppy and he loves it! Jocelyn (the trainer) uses a personal approach which was huge for our excited and reactive little guy. We have seen improvements at home and have so many resources to continue his training beyond her sessions with him. We used to get so much anxiety walking him because of his excitement and leash pulling but he has improved so much. We are very thankful! Highly recommend Jocelyn, especially for a more targeted / behavioral training approach. All other staff at the daycare have been lovely as well and remembered our pup very quickly! He practically drags us through the door when we arrive.
*Update*2/19/24 We started buying our dog food here as well after being members for months and I don’t know why I hadn’t sooner! They have lower prices than chewy, petco and PetSmart! *Original post* Legit my favorite place to bring my 6 month old golden retriever. Ophie loves it so much we have an unlimited memebership😅 ophies always looking for new friends, come hang with us! She also loves getting tubbys here unlike in our home tub. There’s also such a sense of community here that we both love coming every night. The owners and all their staff are incredibly friendly and great to talk to.
We have been attending dog training classes here with Transition Dog Training. The staff here are welcoming and very knowledgeable. We have purchased food and treats, their prices are reasonable and they offer high quality items. We drive over an hour from Massachusetts for training and I am so very glad we do.
Zelie has been attending puppy training through Transitions Dog Training with Bre. The space is so inviting and Chris is great! We have purchased her regular food here and done bath time seamlessly! She had the opportunity to play with other puppies, which has given her so much confidence! Plus, the pup cups are high quality and she loves them. Highly recommend!

Felt welcome the moment I walked in. They have a fenced in small outside area and a play room with plenty of area and toys to play with. This is Bala's first time in day care so I will keep you posted. Lots of different items in the store and many different services. I'm glad I found them, across from Concord Nissan and next to Merrimack County Savings Bank
Chris and Corinne have taken meticulous care of our dog while walking/watching him for the past 2.5 years. They clearly love and care for the pets they see, and also really know how to train dogs. My wife and I strongly recommend Pawskies!

Pawskies is a fantastic customer oriented business. They are we care program benefits local pet centered non profit organizations. Not only did they provide pet supplies, but they also provide pet care as well. They truly care about pets and their community, and it is clear that their customers can rest easy when Pawskies is taking care of their pets.
Online prices are no cheaper and actually more expensive than my local pet store . If I wanted to buy online I would just use Chewy or one of the other online retailers . No I am not a customer but just someone stating the fact that there are other cheaper options . The owners of this site obviously doesn't like negative reviews and they tried to block my Facebook review so I will post here

Sandy has been an incredible help to our family - she cares for my diabetic cat whenever we are out of town. She also helped us care for our senior dog in the last months of his life when he required a ton of caretaking. She's so kind, gentle, and nurturing toward all living things. I highly recommend the Bees Knees!!
I was stuck when my usual dog sitter was unavailable. I happened to see one of Sandy's flyers and I am so glad I called. She was friendly, flexible, enthusiastic, organized, caring, patient, and sweetly affectionate with my small, elderly, often incontinent and sometimes grouchy (though lovable) dog. She clearly spent quality time with my dog, and was more than open to catering to her quirks. When she refused her food after a day or two, Sandy brought in roast chicken in an effort to entice her. When my usual sitter checked in, Sandy willingly coordinated care with her. I could not ask for a more responsible, responsive, or loving caretaker, who is also very knowledgeable regarding animal health and welfare.
Sandy is incredible!! She is detailed in her reports and takes great pictures of our dogs when she visits. I know my dogs are well cared for on those long days when I’m at work.

I have brought my puppy to Kool K9 for several months prior to moving out of state and he loved it there. Everytime we would go he would practically pull me into the building. He came back most days exhausted and it really helped with getting thru a lot of the puppy months with he restless sleep. Highly recommend them. KoolK9 is the place to go if you want phenomenal care for your dog. Kathy and Matt are the sweetest most loving people I know. They both care for the dogs as if they were their own. My dog has been going there for one year and has come home beyond happy and exhausted from all the fun, I can’t help but be happy knowing my dog is happy because of them! The facility itself is extremely clean and well taken care of, sometimes I can’t believe they have dogs there from how clean it is! I can’t thank them enough for taking such great care of my dog, it is a true blessing.
Woodlawn is an amazing family owned business that treated our dog like he was their own. He was happy to go to daycare and we knew he was always well cared for for over night visits. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I could not recommend them enough
My dog loves Woodlawn Pet Resort and can't wait to get there in the morning. He thinks he's the king of doggy daycare, as he's been going there for 7 years now and thinks he runs the show. I drive up to the door, and he runs in at breakneck speed, barking the whole way. He loves it!
My 7 month old female mix breed started daycare a few weeks ago and after the third day she couldn’t wait to get back. I love that Woodlawn Kennel posts photos so I can see how fun the dogs are having and how my dog interacts with the others. There’s also a wonderful store with high-quality pet supplies and treats. Very easy to park and bring your dog inside. I’m looking forward to boarding my dog when I’m away. Using the daycare so that she’s used to it before boarding is such a great option.
I have been taking my dog to Woodlawn daily for over a month now while I recover from surgery, and I have noticed a huge change in his temperament! He is calmer, sleeps and eats better, and overall seems like a happier and more social boy. Andrea and her team at Woodlawn know exactly how to strike that balance between just enough exercise and too much. As well, their hours are extremely convenient, and the setting itself is peaceful and beautiful. I had originally intended this as a short-term solution during my recovery, but will now continue, as I've seen this huge pay-off in his wellbeing. Also, I used the boarding option once he was used to daycare, and it was absolutely seamless. And it was wonderful to see photos of him on Instagram, to know he was doing well with his pack!
We’ve been using Woodlawn for many years. They have always taken good care of our dogs. Our current dog is almost 14 and started going to doggy day care here as a puppy. He still loves to go and gets very excited when he arrives.
I adopted an older dog about 2 years ago but he does have a lot of energy and he really enjoys a few days per month a day care. I have also boarded him at Woodlawn and never have to worry because he receives excellent care.
My dog looks forward to going to daycare and even boarding at Woodlawn. The staff is always extremely helpful. I had never boarded my dog before so when I called for information they took the time to explain even thing to me as well as answer all of my questions and even make recommendations when I am stuck between choosing services. They staff is always friendly, you can tell they really care about the work they do. We’ve done daycare, boarding, and grooming with them. I’d recommend all services they are a 10/10

We had to find somewhere last minute (and for the first time) because the people that were going to take care of our 9 month old puppy bailed on us. I would consider this place to be average, not a dump, but no real wow factors. I gave them a less than average review however because our puppy who is up-to-date on shots still managed to contract kennel cough in the three days he was there.
Our puppies are always well taken care of while boarding. They also get groomed right before pick up so that they are clean and fresh to take home.
We moved over a holiday week and desperately needed someone to board our dogs. Everyone was full and we couldn't find anyone willing to take them. A Precious Pet Resort went out of their way to be able to take care of us. They were a life saver and took great care of our pets as well.
The whole crew here are awesome. We have a super shy German shepherd that we rescued from southern Texas. When we pull into the driveway, she gets so excited. We feel at complete ease when Ara is in the hands of these wonderful ladies. Highly recommend.
Our furbaby, has been going to A Precious Pet Resort (APPR) since he was 9 1/2 weeks old. Our pup is a cautious boy and was unsure of the staff at first, but we introduced him to Mary and her team a few times prior to dropping him off for 5-days a week doggie daycare. Our pup is now 5 1/2 years old and LOVES going to APPR. Although we now live 30 minutes away, we still take him to APPR whenever we need someone to care for him if we are going to be away for a few hours or a week. We attempted a different place when I changed jobs a few years ago to save on my commute for daycare drop off, but our pup did not adjust to this new place well. He was scared and did not respond well to the pet caregivers. The new place operated under a "dog park" mentality and all the dogs were grouped together during the day, but we learned our pup was telling them and us he didn't like that style. The new place had all the bells and whistles of fancy live feed cameras, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, but our dog didn't care about that and didn't care to remain at the new place. Our dog responds very well to positive reinforcement, how he is being treated and how he is being taken care of and our pup is happiest when in small groups or 1:1 playtime. APPR offers this type of service for him. APPR is a family-owned business so they do not have all the bells and whistles like some other surrounding or larger places within a 20-30 mile radius, but they care for, individualized care, and are attentive to the pets they service. When our pup is boarded, we provide plenty of treats, food and toppers along with his blanket and dog bed to provide a more 'comfort of home' feel for him. We know how much he eats, but any extra dog food is given back to us. APPR honors our feeding plan and gives the measurements, food, toppers and treats that we request. We have a wonderful relationship and 2-way communication with APPR. If we request grooming and/or bathing as a part of his stay, we ask for this at a minimal extra charge. Our pup has experienced both daily daycare and boarding services and he and we are happy with their service. When my husband and I travel, we know that our pup is in good hands with Mary and her team. Thank you all for taking such good care of our furbaby. Absolutely amazing group of individuals watching over our dog. Our pup is a bit skittish and absolutely loves her time at precious pets! I wouldn’t think of bringing her anywhere else! Thank you ladies for all the hard work that you do.
We desperately needed a few hours of doggy daycare and this place was so very easy going. Dealt with 3 different people between calling/ drop off and pick up. Everyone was very courteous and easy going. They were able to accept short notice and super reasonable price. Above all dog seemed super happy and entertained upon pickup. If you are skiing at Pats peak this is the best place for your family dog.
Mary and her amazing staff took a great care of my dog, Nova! I could tell from Jade's eyes how much she truly loves my dog (she would even try to get Nova drink more throughout the day). I have recommended them to many of our friends...and we will return as soon as there is more snow in NH for skiing :) Excellent location to leave your dog when skiing in Sunapee, Pats Peak or even Okemo. They are caring and knowledgeable.
Precious Pet is the best boarding hotel! Our dog Chloe goes here and she loves the owners and workers! Mary and Jess go out of their way to welcome our dog and our dog is always happy and well cared for when we pick her up. They have cat condos and we were in a bind and needed to board our cat and they came to the rescue. We can’t thank them enough! Wonderful place with radiant heated floors and real doors on the kennel spaces.
Precious pet is a great place, our 6 month old German shorthair loves it there. We started bringing her as a small puppy and from the get go they have taken great care of her. We bring her 2-3 days a week for day care and now she has a group of friends she plays with. What a huge help they are for our busy schedule. Make no mistake we love our dog and trust them entirely with her. A much better alternative to leaving her at home in a crate all day! Thank you for all you do for us!
Each time that I must leave my beloved dogs, I am very thankful for A Precious Pet Resort and the consistent competent care they provide. At the mention of "going to visit Mary & Jess", the dogs are on alert and enter their home-away-from-home with wagging tails and shining eyes. I drive away with confidence and peace of mind knowing that my elderly Siberian Husky and adolescent Collie are in safe and reliable hands. Thank you to all the staff!
We happened to be so lucky in finding APPR. Our current daycare had to close, and we decided to try APPR. Boy, are we glad we did!! The girls treat Diesel like he is one of their own. It is obvious they love what they do. Diesel can't wait to go to daycare! All I need to say is do you want to go see Jess and he runs to the door and waits patiently to be able to get in the car and go. The ride all the way to daycare he talks till he gets there. We also recently used them for boarding, and I couldn't have been happier. I was concerned because he has boarded at other places and lost weight and been a little stressed and had an injury to his nose due to rubbing on the chain link. When I picked him up he looked just as we left him. He lost 3 pounds but not due to not eating but I believe it was due to playing with his friends every day for a week. :) This place is not your typical kennel. The floors are heated and the animals aren't in a cage! They treat Diesel like he is their own and I couldn't ask for anything more. I love having the security of being able to drop my 40legged family member off and know he will be ok. Thank you ladies for treating Diesel as one of your own. Keep up the good work!! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for daycare or boarding.
We recently moved to Candia and couldn’t be happier with the choice to send our Ozzie to Pampered Pup for daycare! He is so excited when he gets there and the staff is so welcoming and excited to see him. They offer amazing care and plenty of amenities for the dogs such as grooming, mental enrichment and fun events like photo shoots! Hands down best experience I have ever had
I've thought of how to word this review carefully to properly articulate how well of an establishment Pampered Pup is. I've worked at the kennel for roughly 2 years now and under Sabrina's ownership for over a year. There's been multiple times since then where I have been blown away by Sabrina's determination to make this facility a second home for your dog by listening and taking everything each owner has to say very seriously all while working together as a team. Pampered Pup is THE place to go for boarding and grooming, the staff is highly knowledgeable of the dog world and will treat your dog like their own. Sabrina, Brad, both managers Trish and Sam as well as the rest of the staff are truly and genuinely dedicated to this place making sure your pup has not only a fun experience but a trusting, safe, and clean place to retreat to. We brought our Golden Retriever, Chester, in for grooming and were met by a warm and friendly staff. Tatiana did a great job and even sent a picture after she was done. Our GS mix, Cooper, went in on another day and we had another great experience. We highly recommend Pampered Pup and we will be bringing our three dogs there from now on!
Our dogs are always super excited to get their hair groomed. Whether it's a shampoo or a new cut, they are always stoked to get their grooming collars on. The team at Pampered Pup's knows our dogs by sight and are always fast and friendly with them.
Our dog has been going to Pampered Pup for over a year now and goes 4ish days a week for daycare. We love this place. I appreciate that they put thought into which dogs are in the play groups to make sure their needs are met. They are so attentive to him and we trust them with our fur baby!! He loves his mental enrichment add ons too! This place is run so well!!!
We bring our 3 boys here for grooming regularly. The staff is great, and Tatiana is an amazing groomer. I can highly recommend this place!
I love Pampered Pup! Barley had a great time there. He had surgery and had to be away and then had some stomach issues that are FINALLY resolving! He should be returning very soon to play snd romp with his new friends! Thank you. Bett and Barley!

We love taking our dog here. When he comes back from being there he’s always completely wiped out from playing so hard with the other dogs. The courtesy nail trims aren’t bad either.
Our Bo absolutely loves Pet-Agree! He gets excited when we pull into their road and his tail wags so hard when he sees any of the staff coming to meet him in the morning. They obviously take such good care of the pups here! Bo loves his daycare days!!
We had waited 5 months to get our Golden retriever into the Daycare. He’s been going for about a year or so. It’s nice there are live cams, but the owner does not have the temperament to operate a doggy daycare facility. Every time we interact with her she “can’t handle the barking, overstimulation” and when my wife went to pick him up the other day when the owner approached him he coward, which he never does. Additionally he seemed very jumpy at home. There was also a time where I was called at work to see if I could come pick him up because he had “too much energy” and we know it’s not just our dog. They say the same things about the other dogs as well. I’m not accusing anyone of anything but it’s very bizarre to me that my well trained 3 year old golden was acting this way when he came home. Between the attitude from the owner and my dogs new behavior I no longer trust this place. It seems like they shouldn’t be in this business if they can’t handle regular dog behavior.
We have tried several facilities in the Manchester area and Bark City has been the best with engaged and thoughtful staff, transparent and proactive communication, and the overall quality we have been looking for. Our boys come home clean, happy, tired, and are excited to go back. The staff take the time to get to know the dogs, and they truly care about the animals in their care. The reservation system is easy to use, we have webcam access during each stay, and we get daily report cards which include pictures and what friends they are making! Pricing is also very competitive with discounts for multiple dogs, and multiple day bundles. The facility is smaller which means they do not split the dogs up into groups by size, but that has never been an issue for our boys (7 and 22 lbs) as the staff is careful about screening dogs during the evaluation visit to ensure new dogs will be comfortable, and they are always in with the dogs to monitor the play. The wait list is very long. It took ~4 months for a slot to open up for us, but I am very glad we were patient and am thrilled with the experience so far.
We’ve been going to Bark city for over two years now. We have had a great experience with a very caring staff. They are patient and love our dog.
We love bark city! My loud energetic little boy gets to blow all his energy while he’s in daycare. Their long and flexible hours and half day rates make it super easy for our needs to be met. He had his first groom with them recently as well (he’s short hair so nothing crazy), I am always satisfied with their nail trims and he came home soft and smelling nice. They treat him like he is their own and I couldn’t ask for better! Thank you Ashley Donna and all the other wonderful people who work there 😄
Very very disappointed with this place! I brought my very active dog there for her first day and when I came to pick her up I witnessed one of the staff spraying my dog because she was barking! That is absolutely not ok never did they tell me that is how they discipline dogs and if they had I would have not been ok with it . I don’t spray my dog at home they don’t need to be either. My dog will not be going back. When my finance dropped my dog off he witnessed staff screaming at the dogs for barking! They are dogs they are gonna bark if you can’t handle the barking find a new job! I am not paying a lot of money to have my dog sit in timeout and be sprayed all day this is not ok! And when a worker was confronted about spraying my dog they turned it around on me saying it’s my fault because she was having behavior! She is a very active dog and needs to run and bark. Learn how to deal with the behavior without punishing my dog . I will not be back.
I've been taking my dog here for a year and she loves it. She waits at the door on her daycare day. Staff are great and so convenient to have grooming services on site.
We recently stopped going to bark city unfortunately due to the poor management communication with their clients. I have been going there for about five years with my eldest dog from the time I adopted him they were nothing but great, but unfortunately recently the communication has not been the best. The company has been short staffed and that was the reason given for us playing phone tag and then missing VM from both parties. Both myself and my partner call and left multiple voicemails apologizing for missing the original VM for a scheduled appoint that we were waiting to hear back to see if there was going to be a groomer on the day that normally does not have groomers scheduled(Mondays). When I finally got in touch with the management she stated that because we missed the call and was playing phone tag she was “turned off” by us not being able to reach out to her (again playing phone tag and would not hear back for days from the establishment). She felt she didn’t need to reach out to the client(us) since we “wasting her time and resources” is what she told me over the phone when I finally was able to get in touch with her. The groomers and daycare staff are great and never had any issues with them but unfortunately the management’s unprofessionalism forcing us to leave and find another company to do business with. This is the only reason I have rated them a 2 star business.
I’ve hesitated writing this, but it’s been quite the struggle to find a daycare where people actually take good care of the dogs and love what they do. The first place I used crated for most of the day, so I was excited when I found out this place did not crate at all. However, they have these enclosed cubby things, which I’m not a huge fan of and when I picked up my dog, he was “resting” in one. The very first visit we had for his evaluation, he pulled back and wanted to leave, which is very unlike him. He’s a super loving and friendly dog. He loved his last daycare and all the people..I brushed it off and brought him for two additional days, in which he acted the same way. I loved the idea of the cameras, but you could definitely see the look of frustration of the owner’s daughter, who is not very friendly whatsoever. His first day I called asking how I could see him on the cameras, and in a very dry tone and little direction where to go, said when he’s checked in, you’ll be able to see… I was like okay.. and eventually figured out where to go on the app. I read reviews about them spraying them water for redirection, and wasn’t a fan of that, so I asked if it was in their face, and she said no, butt and feet. I wasn’t exactly thrilled but hoped it was minimal, except both days he came come pretty wet on his back end… Lastly, the place smells horrific of ammonia, and I understand there’s only so much you can do, but it’s much worse than any others I stepped into. I decided this was not the place for him based on all of those reasons above and I’m happy I did. I found a place he loves, everyone is incredibly friendly, you can tell they love dogs and my dog is exited to be there.
We are extremely satisfied with Bark City! We were using a different daycare for months. When my wife would pick up our pup he would be sitting up front being fed treats and posing for Instagram photos. Our pup would come home full of energy, not what we were hoping. Now that we have been using Bark City he is exhausted after daycare, which allows us to relax and enjoy our evening. Bonus we can check in on him with live webcams and the daily report card is a nice touch with our little goofball. Keep up the great work! So happy we gave Bark City a try.
This place is amazing. The day care is clean and I get to watch my dog play while I am at work. Staff is friendly and they treat your dog like family. I have tried many doggy daycare centers in the area and Bark City is the best daycare facility by far! They even give your pup a report card at the end of the day!
