Amelia was very welcoming and gave us a thorough tour of the house. She left helpful written information on the counter, which we appreciated. Aries, the sweet and well-behaved girl, was a joy to be around at home and on our walks. She can be left alone for a couple of hours at a time and also prefers to sleep on the bed at night. Being a large grey hound, this can make sleep quite difficult - it was tricky for a couple and Aries to sleep together on the same bed. This housesit may be better for a single house sitter as opposed to a couple. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the home was very comfortable to stay in and we had a lot of fun with Aries and exploring the local area.
Sitting for Taryn & Joe was a wonderful time! I felt so warmly welcomed to Austin by them as soon as I got there. They helped provide me with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. They are incredibly friendly people. Kalika & Tank are so adorable, goofy, loving, gentle, comforting, & snuggly as well. They are pretty easy to care for, as are the chickens & quail. The house is so cozy, and occasionally on the weekends there is live jazz music right across the street, as well as coffee shops & restaurants, shops, & even nature spots / hiking trails galore. This stay was a dream, a perfect first experience in Austin! I already miss Kalika & Tank.
Nimlet was so sweet, kind and loving. The perfect bunny to keep you company. Such a breeze and routine based. The home itself was super adorable- safe and in the heart of bath. A short walk from main attractions yet out of the way of any major tourist traps and noise. It was a peaceful, quiet area with plenty of shops, food, and nature. Ruth was great at communicating, generous with anything we needed and a joy to get to know. Would sit again anytime.
Housesitting for Terri is awesome! First of all, Lily and Henry are, like other reviewers said, the CUTEST, most ridiculous duo. Lily's your lil shadow, trotting after you and just gifting you with her presence throughout the day, while Henry's more independent, playful, and relaxed. They also both have adorable underbite-y smiles :) As for Terri's house - wow! Beautiful property with green grass and an outdoor patio that's perfect for relaxing, comfortable guest bedroom, and super-duper clean all around. Groceries and freeway are 5-10 min drive (if that), the beach is only ~20 mins, there are some nice hikes/parks around, and Vista has some cute local spots, as well! A wonderful launching pad to access the rest of SD :) Would highly recommend housesitting for Terri, it's a gem all around!

Do a great job of taking care of my puppo! I like the fact it’s a structured day as he tends to over stimulate. He learns, has physical and mental stimulation. Staff very nice and professional. Highly recommend
Tucker absolutly loves it there and they take great care of him . He is so happy when we pull in the driveway it's amazing . The interaction with the other dogs is a great bonus
They took such good care of my dog. I received daily pictures. She got groomed during her 5 day stay and looked so good. I will definitely use them again. So happy with Paws, Play and Stay
Highly recommend ! I use them for boarding and my dog Xander does daycare 1-2 times a week. For boarding they sent amazing photos everyday and he got to attend daycare the whole week he was there which he definitely loved. When he goes to daycare he always comes home so tired it’s great! They go above and beyond to make things convenient for myself and my pup !
Our dog Odin no longer likes to be with lots of dogs but he really enjoys the smaller, more human time play at Paws Canine Activity Venter. He gets exercise for his mind and body without being stressed by too many dogs!
My pup loves coming here! I can see how confident she has become after only a couple visits. Staff is friendly and competent!
Our 1 year old golden retriever had a great stay while we were on vacation. He seemed very happy and was well cared for. We loved getting our daily updates on how he was doing.
Absolutely love bringing my two dogs here who have very different needs both while boarding and at daycare. Our dogs are excited to go and we trust our dogs are well taken care of while here.
Daisy absolutely enjoys spending the day at Paws! And she comes home tired.
We brought our dog here for her doggy daycare orientation and from the minute we walked in we did not feel welcome. The 2 women were quite rude and did not greet our dog at all which added to her anxiety. They looked over her paperwork and stated how her growling and barking could be a concern as other dogs may take that as threatening. During this whole ordeal there were dogs barking in the back. Then when it came to talking about her play style they did not like that she enjoys wrestling. I’m sorry but a lot of dogs wrestle...how are dogs supposed to act? Do you not want them to have a personality? They then took her back to “meet with the calmest dog they had” and not even 2 minutes later brought her back and immediately said “she failed” followed by “nowhere will accept her” I am absolutely appalled. She is a rescue dog...she is reactive. That does not mean she is a failure. Thanks for showing us your true colors from the second we walked in.
