Hannah is the sweetest dog ever! She is a totally relaxed and easy going dog! The house is very beautiful. Sole was always available for me and we had great communication. I really felt very comfortable and would do a sitting there again anytime!
Both cats were super easy to care for and enjoyable to be around. One is wise with age, and the other is young and playful. They also get along great with each other. Great location and communication.
Beautiful home, Friendly Couple, Adorable Pets ! Stephanie and Neil were gracious hosts that immediately made us feel very much at home in their beautiful, western-style, house. Their pets, Nacho & Denny, were extremely well trained and a complete pleasure to take care of. The gated neighborhood is quiet and offers plenty of opportunities for relaxing walks in the park with their adorable fur-babies. The huge residential community has a bike path, parks, western stores and french bakeries to enjoy. A very Vietnamese neighborhood is just around the corner too, so you can still get your cheap street-noodle fix, no problem. We truly enjoyed our stay and we already miss having Nacho & Denny around to snuggle up to on the couch. 5 Stars!
It was a wonderful and very enjoyable housesitting with the cute dogs Monty and Chausette. Both are very pleasant dogs who always appear happy and content. Misty, the cat is easy to care for and we got a lot of fresh eggs from the chicken. Melanie's mansion is a big treasure with a beautiful huge garden. Thank you, dear Melanie, and to all other housesitters: take the possibility, have fun with the animals and surroundings, as we did :-) Hope, we can do it again!
I highly recommend this housesit. Sabine and Tom are kind, warm, and organized. My time housesitting was smooth, easy, and relaxing. Timber is a delight! He is very healthy and fit, it's fun going for walks and runs in the trails with him, as well as exploring nearby beaches, he loves swimming. The property is beautiful and serene, and the guest suite is well-appointed with everything you need and very comfortable. Thank you Sabine and Tom!
What can we say? Jack was a wonderful experience for us,he is like no other dog we have looked after.I swear he is half human. You get a wonderful welcome in the mornings,he “talks”to you when you let him in the kitchen,and he loves his cuddles. Alex welcomed us and introduced us to Jack and showed us around her Mum and Dad’s beautiful home.Unfortunately we did not get to meet Jane and Johnathan as they had already left for their holiday. Alex did offer to take us into Porthcawl and show us all the places to go,but as we already knew the area it was not necessary.She took us down to the beach across the sand dunes with Jack following on behind sniffing everything.Jack was fine off the lead,but we did not walk him without it during our stay.He was quite happy on the lead because it was extendable and he had a lot of freedom.It was different on the beach,we allowed him to be free and meet all his doggy friends.He is very sociable with other dogs,we said he is a lover and not a fighter. The house and gardens are amazing,everything was perfect.I don’t think we have ever slept in a bigger or better bed anywhere. Jeff,the gardener/handyman was a treasure…..nothing was too much trouble for him.We looked forward to seeing him on Tuesday when he came to look after the lovely gardens. Thanks for the sausage rolls! We can really recommend this sit and would not hesitate to return in the future,Thankyou for having us. XX for Jack,really missing him and all his quirky ways.
