What a great housesit!. Sylvia & Mark are wonderful hosts and I’ve loved my time at their home in Anchorage. They were incredibly welcoming and I was fortunate to spend a little time with them before they left and the whole family is fun, friendly and interesting to chat to. They couldn’t have been more helpful with their advice on things to see and do in my time here in Alaska. Toby and Oliver are very cool cats. Oliver was first to warm up to me but Toby soon did too and he then became a little bit of a shadow. Loved to see what I was upto, loved fuss and loved to curl up next to me. They are both no trouble at all, very easy to look after and an absolute pleasure to be around. The home is very comfortable and has everything you need. It is well located just off the coastal trail which is a lovely walk that can take you to downtown or down to Kincaid Park. Anchorage is a lovely base to stay in, there are so many things to see and do within a day trip from here. Glacier cruises, flightseeing excursions, trail hikes and wildlife spotting trips to name a few. Can not recommend this housesit enough, thank you so much to Sylvia and Mark for welcoming me into their home and giving me the opportunity for what is an amazing life experience! 5 stars!!
The communication was awesome! Every question or concern was answered. The information provided in the welcome packet was very detailed. The home is beautiful! The surrounding nature is beautiful, especially the variety of birds. It is a very serene environment to read, relax and enjoy raw nature. Goosey...so loving, so sweet and patient. His barks are fierce but he is a big lovable fur baby. He has the sweetest little quirks- walking in circles to lie down, laying his head on you when he wants loving and bouncing when it was time to eat. I was missing Goosey before I left. I hope I will have another opportunity to see Goosey again.
We highly recommend house sitting for Carolyn and Tim. We had a lovely time and left with good memories and new friends (the cats and the people!). They are exceptionally generous hosts and wonderful people to spend time with. Due to my remote work limitations they let us stay longer so that we were able to drive back on the weekend, and they took us to a number of local places to show us around the area. While they were away they provided very clear instructions and their two cats had great personalities and were so easy to look after - we were sad to say goodbye. The house is gorgeous and a real privilege to stay at, and we'd recommend the experience to everyone!
Anoushka’s home was exactly as described. It was spotless clean and very well located near shops and transport. Winston was divine , so much personality for a little dog. We walked together to the beach everyday and his happy disposition was great company to me. I loved him and I would gladly look after him again. I do hope I see him again xx miss him already
This Housesitting was perfect! Len and Julie welcomed us a night before they left. The instructions for the house and their lovely dog Rusty were fantastic. Rusty is such a lovable and funny dog. We took him on adventures around Brisbane and he was always great company and well behaved. The house is in a great neighbourhood with parks around. The communication throughout the Housesit were excellent. We highly recommend this Housesitting.
Billy & Margo were the sweetest - though margo has a bit of British humor...eventually they both got very comfortable enough and by the end Billy was full on conversing with me xo Laura was great - and guided me through everything I needed to meet their needs and mine while I stayed in Hoboken.
