I thoroughly enjoyed looking after this house and the 2 lovely (but shy) cats, Charlie and Lulu. The house is beautiful, and set in a very peaceful setting, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's great countryside and excellent pubs near by and it is close to a village shop/post office. It is a short drive to Farnham, and there is easy access to Guildford/A3, so the best of both worlds.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Marielle and Dayle's lovely home in Hebden Bridge and I was lucky to spend the time with Nina - my favourite lurcher 😊 Nina is very affectionate and loves a cuddle but will happily just chill on her bed if you are busy doing something, though she will always have one eye on you. She is very well trained and a pleasure to take on walks or runs. She doesn't really bother with other dogs and always comes when you call her. Marrielle and Dayle were amazing hosts and answered any questions that I had. Hebden Bridge is a beautiful town with lots to do. I would highly recommend this sit!
Our stay with Lisa and John was great. A warm welcome at their beautiful finca on the edge of a small village. We stayed in their guest house. Very nice to have our own place. Complete with kitchenette and private bathroom. Also a TV with countless channels. Outside a covered terrace (useful in summer) with sitting area. John and Lisa are warm and welcoming. We are glad we had the opportunity to get to know them. In the small village there is a cosy 'Chiringuito' within walking distance for a nice beer, delicious burger or tapas. The coast can be reached in about 30 minutes' walk. Nearby, walks are possible across the farmland. Several beautiful walks and viewpoints can be reached nearby by car. The two dogs Star and Jackson stole our hearts. Two sweet enthusiastic dogs both with their own character. Star and Jackson are friendly and very cuddly. There is no harm in them! They are real hunting dogs that can react quite fiercely (if they see a cat or other animal, for example) but that gave no problem at all. We miss the sun, the surroundings and, above all, Star and Jackson. We would love to come back and can really recommend these hosts.
It was a pleasure to house sit for Aine. Such a beautiful home that she so willingly welcomed me into. I was working close by to her house over two weekends in November. Aine was very kind to leave me a booklet of how everything worked in her home including and a few reminders about when to feed her very friendly cat Ava, who kept me great company whilst I stayed. Aine was very contactable during both stays and really ensured I felt safe and comfortable in her home. Couldn't recommend highly enough, such a pleasure to have met through Trusted House Sitters.
Honestly this sit was a such a gift. We feel truly blessed to have met the homeowners, who are so incredibly kind and thoughtful. Donna left detailed and easy to follow instructions, and was super communicative from start to finish. Winnie and Mia are a joy. Winnie is adorable and spunky. We got the biggest kick out of her wiggle butt walk and facial expressions. Mia is a sweet sweet girl, very snugly and loving. The home feels warm and inviting. It is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches scattered throughout each and every room. The property is...heavenly. Quiet with a capital "Q". I so loved waking up to cattle lowing, birds chirping and gorgeous views. My husband and I could continue to gush, as there wasn't one single negative. We would be over the moon to return! Thanks again D&J❤️

We can't praise Jay and his team enough. His calm and confident approach put us and our dog at ease right from his first house visit. He clearly knows his stuff and had our every confidence that he'd put our beloved dog first whilst ensuring she still respected boundaries and didn't undo all our hard work with training. Raven, our doberman stayed with Jay for a week in June and the regular updates and videos really put our mind at ease, she had as much fun on her holiday as we had on ours, we wouldn't send her any where else.
Jay and his team took excellent care of our two cats whilst we were away for 10 days. They got so much needed attention each day and we were kept updated with videos daily. Overall an excellent experience and we wouldn't hesitate to use them the next time we go away!
We would not hesitate to recommend JAWs, Paws & Claws and will certainly be booking more visits for our cat when we go away. Being professional, organised, careful, caring and speedy at recognising our cat’s ways and needs, enabled her to be so settled. Communication with video/photo updates was top class and the reassurance of this enabled us to enjoy our holiday knowing she was in such good hands! 👏

I have been using Steve for several years now and trust him completely with my 2 cats. I wouldn’t use anyone else! Steve has a natural affinity with animals and has spent ages getting my rescue cats to feel comfortable with him. Nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend.

Amazing match was found for my dog while we were away in Asia. And am now about to book another pet stay . Fantastic service. You can completely relax it is extremely well run.
Am yet to use the service, however communication excellent, immediate response to email, most helpful and good advice. I contacted them because of good recommendations.
Wasn't interested in looking after our dog, after we enquired about dates they were already busy on they said they were busy and couldn't help, when asked about other dates they didn't respond to messages.
Jessica was an excellent pet sitter for our cats and rabbits. She took great care of them and made time to give them plenty of fuss too. She also messaged us regularly to let us know how they were. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend jessicas pet care, I have 3 fur babies and I get extremely worried about leaving them but jessica is reliable and instantly made me feel at ease with leaving them in her care. This is the first time that we have used Oven Green Kennels. We have an old German Shepherd who we love dearly. The owner of the previous kennels, that we had been using, had suddenly retired and we were left phoning around trying to find another 'good' kennels. Right away from the first telehone contact, I had a positive feeling. When we dropped our dog off, I was impressed by the friendly reception. The owners showed us where he would be staying. Everything was clean, spacious and well organised, They were also happy to spend time with us, talking about his dietery needs and giving us a detailed insight into how they look after the dogs in their care. This morning we collected our dog after a two week stay. He was clean and happy and not trying to make a run for the door, as he had done at some other kennels. We are overjoyed that we have discovered Ovens Green Kennels. They really are exceptionally good!
Our dog George just spent 2 weeks in the care of Ovens Green Kennels and was looked after extremely well. He's come home tired, as he always does from kennels (up all night chatting 😁). We also booked a groom for when we collected him, and it's probably the best we've seen his coat, thank you. One happy dog, very happy owners. Thank you to all who helped look after him.

Our dogs have been staying with Karen and Dean for years now. Fantastic service and always willing their best to fit you in. Kennels are modern and lovely. I wouldn't take my dogs any where else. We actually travel over an hour to use Ovens Green kennels. Keep up the good work guys x
Brilliant have used them before and have a family room for my 3 older dogs which they loved as very fussy and now they have a day care facility as well not to mention a grooming palour, wouldn’t go anywhere else and will be using them again now for my 6 Sheltie’s couldn’t recommend them highly enough fab service.
Great place for your pet to go, be it one day or a week, they are well looked after. Our dog Spirit loves it there. When we have left him there, our minds are at rest as we know we have left him in great hands. We would highly recommend Ovens Green Kennels you won’t be disappointed.
Dean and team, are an absolute pleasure. I have a very anxious, unsociable westie Cross, who I was nervous about handing over, leaving him in a strange place. I didn't need to worry, he loves going each and every week, he is cared for, and comes out looking like he had the best day ever, he gets so excited to see Dean that he now howls in delight... I would highly recommended this Boarding kennel..
Feels like dropping your beloved pet off to friends. Owners without question accommodate your pet's diet/ likes, etc. From the first phone call to multiple stays over the previous few years, Dean, Karen + family have been so very friendly and courteous to us. My pet always leaves here calm (unlike an experience elsewhere years ago). You don't need to look elsewhere. I am so so so happy to have found such friendly and professional care here. You'll also be supporting a local family business. What's not to love?
Have used Ovens Green for a couple of years. My rescue lab had previously been badly treated, but she has always loved going to the kennels. Dean and Karen have been very understanding and patient with her and so I have had no problems leaving her in their wonderful care. Would recommend.
I've used Ovens Green for the last 6 years and would highly recommend them. Karen and Dean were wonderful with our last dog (who use to cry when she had to leave the kennels!!) and have been great with our puppy. Both dogs have always been excited when they arrive knowing the fuss that will be made of them.

Amazing place to keep your dogs, I worked there for a couple months and the dogs are treated amazingly, I have seen someone say that the owners used electric collars on the dogs which is highly untrue and there is only one man that owns the kennel (they said that some owners don't know about it) lovely man, lovely kennel, kept incredibly clean as alot of work is put into it, good security around the premises, all in all an amazing and safe place to keep your dogs that you can trust your dogs will be treated and given love as if it was the owners own pet

When I met Jo I knew that my two house rabbits Anthea and Shady , my pet chickens Drumstick and Nugget were in safe hands for pet visits whilst we went on holidays for a few days. During that time I received a couple of pictures of happy bunnies and chickens which confirmed to us that they really liked their pet sitter and were relaxed. We got back home to find a very happy little gang and cared for+ daily notes resuming their day. We will a100% use your care pet services in the future! :)
Jo is absolutely amazing and fabulous with our 2 cats Ollie & Nori. When we’re away ‘Your Pet Care Services’ visits our house and feeds and spends some quality time with them, giving them much appreciated tlc. We can often receive pictures & updates and these are always greatly received. Jo has been visiting my cat on/off and over a longer holiday since we moved. She always makes the time to update me on the details of how my cat is doing during each visit, has taken the effort to befriend my cat during her visits whilst still respecting her space and has been very responsive in all our communication. I would highly recommend Jo as a catsitter. She is trustworthy and true to what she commits to do.

This is an excellent new purpose built kennels in a wonderful parkland setting.The owner has invested a great deal of effort to ensure all dogs mentle and physical needs are meet during their stay. The staff are professional and welcoming and clearing have a geniune passion for the welfare of all the dogs. I can't recommend this new kennels and the staff enough.
Found this gem of a place, after our friend let us down last minute. Called and spoke to them to explain the situation, they were happy for us to visit and have a look around we also done a day visit for them to get to know our dog. They have an amazing set up with both indoor and outdoor kennels which are heated and air conditioned, lovely & clean, security was great. They have plenty of outdoor space where they exercise the dogs. While we were away they were send picture updates on how our Phoebe was enjoying herself in this 5 star doggie hotel. It is a young business but they are doing everything right and have plenty of knowledge and skill would recommend everyone to use them.
My dog loves going to Little Horkesley Boarding Kennels. Everyone is very friendly and they clearly love dogs - they go out of their way to make her feel happy and comfortable. Facilities are brand new, purpose built, spotless, and very secure (important with my escape artist) and there is a huge, secure, grassy field with shady trees where the dogs can spend their outdoor time running around to their heart's content. The kennels only opened this year and we have used them several times already and thoroughly recommend them.
Highly recommended jack's first time in kennels and he was relaxed and happy when I went to collect him. Think he was thoroughly spoilt and enjoyed playing with the other dogs. Thanks to Claines and Greg
