Karen was SO great - came home to a clean house and a happy cat :-) She was also kind enough to be flexible when weather caused me to stay away an extra day - loved having her!
Kama was an absolute gem for us and our dogs! She was so attentive to them and their needs, made sure they got PLENTY of exercise every day (they are very high energy), and she was very communicative with us while we were away. She also left our home so clean - it was like we never left. I highly recommend her for your pets and home!
Spent our 36th anniversary at Sasha’s home. Yoda is a handsome, soft, gentle, siamese, loves to cuddle. Zozo always announces his arrival. Has a definite routine exactly as outlined in Welcome guide. Loved to be brushed and held baby style. The home is super easy to navigate, very clean and artfully decorated. Sent photo’s of the boys daily. Sasha quickly responded and answered any questions. We took local transit and felt very safe. I’m booked to stay here again in Sept! I can’t wait!!
It was such a pleasure to do this sit. Cato and Ninja are the sweetest cats, with the cutest personalities. And they’re very sturdy boys. :) Change?). They love to hang out with you and get scratches or be brushed. Ninja loves to snuggle and Cato absolutely adores sitting in your lap. I enjoyed meeting Tracy and Peter. They were great, showing me around and giving me instructions for their home and the kitties. Their home is very comfortable, clean, and their backyard is like an oasis - peaceful and beautiful. Cato and Ninja have an outdoor catio which they can access 24/7 and they even get to go out on their own for the first part of the day, which I love. I highly recommend this sit, if you’re looking to travel to Santa Fe.
We had a lovely two weeks with Maya and Freya. Bernadette and Ken were wonderful, generous hosts. Their communication from the start was excellent, so friendly that we felt we had known them for years. They made us very welcome, preparing a lovely meal, chatting and explaining the details of the sit. They were keen to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their home is stunning and spotlessly clean everywhere. We chose to stay in the guest apartment at night but spent our days and evenings in the main house. The house had everything we needed, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, comfortable lounge with an open fire, a huge TV, which we enjoyed in the evenings. We had use of the garage too. Maya and Freya are gorgeous, sweet and loving dogs and we became very fond of them. They love to be with you at all times and made us laugh a lot. They are young, strong dogs who need a good long walk everyday which suited us well as we love walking. Being young they are still nervous around other dogs, cars etc so we tended to avoid the town and stick to the quieter places. The house is very well situated for this with a natural park at the top of the road and a wide variety of good paths, tracks and beautiful scenery. The girls travelled well in their cage in the back of our car allowing us to take them further up into the Sierra where we explored and found wonderful woodland walks and breathtaking views. We had a fabulous time, just enjoying the dogs, exploring the Sierra and then cooking and relaxing in their beautiful home. Due to the time of year we didn’t use the pool and outdoor terraces but these would be fabulous in the summer months. This is a wonderful sit for a fit active couple who enjoy the outdoors.
Michelle and her family are so kind ! Showed me around afew days before and I left feeling so welcome. My stay felt like a holiday, walks with Millie along the river in the morning were a treat, sitting by the pool in the sun, it’s also such a gorgeous area to explore! The house was spotless, bed was so comfortable and I watched movies in the cinema. Millie is such a sweet dog, very easy to care for, she is a gentle giant and so good to walk on the lead, she just follows you everywhere 😊 I would come housesit again in a heartbeat 😊
A lovely home & garden in quiet street close to parkland, with amenities such as essential shopping, public transport etc all close at hand (e.g. a train trip to Melbourne is but a short journey). Echo and Renny though nudging their 12th year are in turn spirited and reclining as the day unfolds?
A relaxed and easy nature escape with four very lovable four-legged friends. LuLu and Juno are the sweetest! Super excited and easy on their walks and totally chill and laid back at home. Kaytee is a snuggle machine and darling Deogee even made appearances for a little rub and love. If you are a nature lover, you will appreciate the beauty of the area. The small town of Bragg Creek also has some fun shops and spots to explore. Thank you, Darren and Monica, for your friendly and warm welcome and relaxed sit. :)
