Loved our time at Paul’s house! Konami was a lovely surprise, so playful ( when she wasn’t asleep snoring 😂 ) and fun to be with. Really good, centrally located area with lots of beautiful parks. Preston Manor and gardens just down the road. Great pub on the corner with good food. Communication with Paul was excellent. Very clean and comfortable house. Hopefully we will get to meet again next year! Thank you Paul for providing such a great space for us… Carol & Jeff
Jane and Charles are the perfect hosts, going over and above to make us both feel very welcome. They have the most exquisite home, full of creativity and has been decorated beautifully. Possibly the most beautiful house we have ever stayed in. The gardens and grounds surrounding the house are also absolutely beautiful. We sat for Jane and Charles in the height of summer so the flowers were all at their finest, lucky us! We fell in love with both dogs, Ruby and Chester and they were lots of fun to be around despite the early wake up calls which is fine in the summer. We played lots of tennis with the dogs which they loved, and romped around the fields which also belong to the house. The 2 hens were also fun, and very tame and easy to care for, they even let you stroke them. Oh, and don't forget to feed Mr Jolly, the blackbird some mealworms, he is also very friendly! There really is no need to leave except to get supplies. The bedroom we stayed in was so spacious and the bed was exceptionally comfortable and there was a luxurious en-suite for us to use. All in all, this was such a wonderful sit and we hope to come back next in 2025. Thanks Jane and Charles.
