Mark & Kaitlyn were extremely welcoming when I arrived at their home. They gave me the lay of the land, told me about a few local spots nearby for food, coffee and etc. Kaitlyn even left out some bottles of wine for me to enjoy. I had a blast exploring the area. There were so many things within just 10 minutes it was great. Bo, Clyde, & Kia truly were the best to look after. All three of them normally joined me in the couch towards the end of the night while I was watching TV and they would just doze off. They let themselves in and out the back door when they felt like it. Clyde was super possessive of me at times lol. Sometimes I wanted to show Bo or Kia some love he would break it up instantly! 😆 The water pressure is also amazing in the house. Truly next level. All in all, I had a fun several days and hopefully my paths will cross again with Bo, Clyde, & Kia in the future.
I absolutely loved this sit. The home is comfortable, quiet, safe, and well-located. Alison was very helpful and made herself available for questions, but was not over-bearing. Lola, while old and slow, is super sweet with a couple “big” bursts of energy throughout the day. She requires a patient sitter, preferably one with elder dog experience, who can help her up and down stairs and doesn’t mind that it takes an hour to walk 1/2 mile.
My partner Abril and I petsitted Celeste's lovely 2 cats for 3 weeks and had an excellent stay. Celeste left very clear instructions for us and looking after the cats and the house was very easy. Celeste was even kind enough to arrange for someone to come and feed the cats to allow us to spend the Christmas with our family which we really appreciated. The village has a Coop around the corner to do your food shopping and there are some nice walks nearby. It is not far from Abingdon which is pleasant to visit. We recommend having a car if you want to get about more easily. Thank you so much Celeste for trusting us to look after Lulu and Elliot and we wish you all the best for the future!
Carolyn's home is a sitter's dream come true. Located in downtown Manhattan, it is a few blocks away from A/C/E/1 subway lines, as well as numerous bars, restaurants, Whole Foods, and Target. Her apt is so tastefully decorated, it looks straight out of an Ikea catalogue. Now onto the kitty, Shadow is perhaps the most beautiful cat I've ever met. Although it'll take her a day or two to warm up to you, once she does, she loves belly rubs and affectionate petting from head to tail. Giving Shadow her daily pumpkin was a breeze, don't be afraid to pick her up and coax her mouth open. Spoon feeding her is also the most adorable thing ever, and if sitters have trouble getting her to take her pumpkin via syringe the first day, I highly recommend that you mix some in with her broth and spoon feed her. I had such a great time and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys :)
We had an amazing time caring for their animals, and staying in their lovely home on gorgeous property. They were so welcoming from the beginning, gave us a full tour of the property. The miniature horses took a bit of time to warm up, as well as Jade, but the donkeys were so lovable right off the bat. The property was absolutely beautiful too, amazing sunset views, and cozy cabin vibes mixed with other cultures in the house.

This pet sitting service was recommended by my vet; if that doesn’t say it all about what a professional company they are I don’t know what does. I was gone 5 months. Two amazing sitters took turns caring for my 20 and 8 year old cats. Daily they were in contact with me letting me know how everything was. They sent pictures and videos everyday. They were very good about telling me when my pet supplies needed to be reordered. I felt so at peace knowing they were in good hands. When I got home, the cats were very peaceful, the litter boxes were immaculate and everything in my home was in order. EXHALE! I HIGHLY recommend this company😸😸

I had Susan for my cat sitter and she was AMAZING!! She sent me pics of my babies daily and would sit and play with them. She even left them a feather toy and laser pointer with a Christmas card. I will definitely be using her again.

We’ve now used Jeannie several times and every time we are extremely pleased with her services. Our two dogs love her and she takes great care of the dogs and our home. One time a syringe that we were using for an ear infection broke. Jeannie drove to our vets office to get a new syringe so she could keep up with the ear medication. That’s just one example of the care she provides.
Hi everyone, We left our Miniature Purebred Poodle Lilli with Jeanne Holm for a week to travel to NYC for our son’s wedding. Michael and I were both nervous wreck's. Never was our Lilli (22months Old) left with anyone. I have to tell you that after meeting Jeanne our fears were gone. Jeanne exudes confidence as a Pet Sitter Lilli loved her right away. Jeannie was recommended recently to us by friends of ours in our neighborhood in Bradenton. They went away on a 30 day cruise and Jeannie took care of both of their dogs while they were gone. They had nothing but good things to say about her so we asked her to watch our pup while we were out of town! Jeannie went above and beyond to make sure that our little girl was safe, well taken care of, and happy. She was very thorough in gathering information about our dog before we left her with her and thought of everything! Even things that I hadn’t….such as reaching out to our veterinarian to let them know that our dog would be with a sitter in the event that Jeannie had to take our pup there while we were gone. She was very accommodating in keeping Gema on her normal schedule, giving her medications, feeding her as instructed, etc. I was even able to FaceTime with our pup on a couple of occasions while we were gone, which gave me so much peace of mind! Our flight got in rather late in the evening, so upon our return, I asked Jeannie if she could drop Gema off at our place after dinner so that she would be here when we came home. Jeannie was happy to do this, and we were thrilled to see her a little girl when we finally got home! We appreciated everything that Jeannie did, and the communication while we were gone to let us know that everything was going well. Couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of our pup! We highly recommend Jeannie and trust our little girl completely with her!!! :)

Jeannie was an absolute dream of a pet sitter. We were out of the country for two weeks. We never had a worry. She sent us photos and videos everyday. When we returned home our house was in better shape than when we left. Jeannie stayed at our house and took perfect care of our dog, Lady Di. Our adorable little girl is not always the little angel she is for us. She was a rescue and is extremely fearful of people. She has been known to bark, snap and growl at anyone who approaches her. I am so thankful for this service. I could tell from the "meet and greet" that Dawn and her family were going to be wonderful with Dolly and give her lots of attention. We had left her at a kennel one time and she came home depressed for a few days. When we picked Dolly up from Dawn, she was her normal, happy self. I could tell that she was comfortable staying there and I am sure they took great care of her. We will definitely use this service again.
Dana has been our pet sitter for the past two years. We love her!! She takes care of our girls as if they were her own. Dana was a godsend to us when we recently moved to Bradenton! We were looking for someone to train our rescue dog, Charlie, who has some unique issues with resource guarding and getting along with other dogs to name a few. Dana has done an amazing job and has gone out of her way to personalize a training plan for Charlie that is working! She is a wealth of knowledge, has a passion for animals, is reliable and dependable, and Charlie loves her! So do our 3 cats! We plan to have her do pet setting for us, she even does overnights! Dana was awesome helping us train our rescue dog, Nola. Dana was kind, patient, gave us lots of tips and was constantly sending us videos and articles to assist with the training at home. Dana is...absolutely one of a kind. There aren't enough words to express how wonderful she is. If you're looking for someone who doesn't JUST walk your dog(s) but connects with them, builds their confidence, and loves them wholly then you've met your match. My husband and I desperately needed a dog walker who could handle our 3 rowdy pups of all different breeds, walk styles, and temperaments (and who are on the stranger danger side!). Dana was more than happy to do a meet and greet with them. They're bit challenging but Dana reassured us she loves a good challenge and all three seem to adore her so much. She responsive, is always willing to answer your questions, and sends so many updates of their walks! Really couldn't ask for a more perfect match. She does have a busy and jam packed schedule so if you want her, gotta reach out to her asap!!

Dana is the most hardworking, caring, and thoughtful person I have met. She has done outstanding work with our two dogs and our cat. The training she has done with them has helped us out so much, she was even able to teach me, my mom, and our 12 year old dog some new tricks and brings his puppy energy back out every-time he sees her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We cannot thank you, Cheyenne enough for stepping in at extremely short notice to look after our two kitties! We reached out to her on a weekend, less than 24 hours before leaving for a 10-day family vacation after our previous care arrangement let us down. Cheyenne called me back right away and, within a few hours, was at our home for a meet-and-greet to ensure we and our kitties felt comfortable. Her communication was impeccable—she kept us updated twice each day with detailed messages. She spent quality time with our cats, informing us about their eating habits, potty routines, and included plenty of photos. Our older kitty, who is usually shy around strangers, was completely comfortable with her, as evident in the pictures. Cheyenne, truly an angel. Cheyenne watched me two dogs in her home while I had a trip out of town. She has previously helped with walks and met them at my home, but this was my first time using her as a sitter. I'm always nervous with new sitters but she did an amazing job and my dogs clearly had a wonderful time! I appreciated how thorough her paperwork was at getting health information, preferences, etc. Super professional. She gave me updates while I was gone at the perfect frequency and I had complete confidence that everything was going well. 10/10, highly recommend, would absolutely use again!

Kaitlin Newman is amazing! As someone new to the Port Charlotte area and working long hours I was nervous bringing a new walker into my home. Once meeting Kaitlin those worried were instantly over. Jacque (my French Bulldog) can be a handful at time but Kaitlin took on the challenge. She treats Jacque as if he is her own. She finds joy in each and every visit with Jacque. Additionally, her communication is never lacking. She makes me aware if she will be running behind or if there is something alarming going on with Jacque. I look forward to her summary and photos daily, which is always lovely to receive during a stressful work day. Kaitlin has even hosted Jacque for two overnight boarding session in which he has been on his best behavior. Jacque is not socialized often with other dogs, so I feared having him around 5 other dogs at once but Kaitlin had no issues acclimating Jacque to the new environment. I knew he had the best of time when he would get home and sleep for the rest of evening and was even unwilling to do his usual walks the following day due to the fun filled weekend. I highly recommend Kaitlin and the Shiney Day company!

Between her vet tech expertise, her love of animals of all kinds and her super organized scheduling/communication platform, I always know the rabbits are in good hands. Cheyenne and Shiney Day Pet Care are the best! Not only was she extremely quick with communication but also very accommodating with last minute changes. She loves animals so much, which makes me happy as an owner because then I know my cats are in good hands. And if you have a sick animal, she knows how to take care of them. It’s nice to have someone taking care of your animals who you can also seek ask advice from. My cat was extreme my old and sick when Cheyenne gave her the best care and helped me with figuring out what was best for her.
Hounds town Bradenton is AMAZING! My little chihuahua absolute loves coming in for daycare. She can’t get enough of her fur friends. She always comes home smelling amazing! High recommended!!!
I took Valentina to daycare for the very first time and could tell she was nervous but then I seen she was playing with her new friends on the Hounds Town Facebook page. I think she enjoyed the overall experience and hospitality because when I seen her she looked happy.

Tito always loves visiting pet paradise. The staff of always very attentive. Recently we had a death in the family and Tito was experiencing a lot of grief and not eating properly when I am not around. The staff follow my exact instruction and made sure he was eating. Showing him extra attention and giving him the comfort of what he needs. When I picked him up, he seemed to be very well taken care of and explained his full eating schedule of when he passed up a meal and they made sure to give him a re-feed later in the day to assure that he got all his meals and nutrition in.
We’ve been taking our dog to Pet Paradise in Lakewood Ranch for years, and we wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for her. The staff is always friendly, and we know our dog is safe, happy, and well cared for during her stays. The only issue I’ve encountered is with how her food and treats are managed. I always send her food pre-portioned in labeled bags for each day, but I’ve noticed that the labels are often ignored—some bags are used out of order or not at all. Additionally, I provide dental sticks for her to have every night before bed, but they’re not given to her. Overall, we truly appreciate the care Pet Paradise provides and hope this feedback helps improve the attention to personalized feeding instructions.
My German shepherd had the best time! The only complaint I had is that he came home limping. After bathing and looking at his back paws I noticed both rear paw pads appeared to be burned or cut to raw skin. NOT knowing about astro turf, this should have been communicated when making the appt. Had I known that this would happen, I would have only let him stay a few hours. Now my very active dog can bearly walk until his paws heal. Upon calling the next morning Gee Gee explained that astro turf can be rough and that they usually put Mushers on the paws.. but that wasn't the case with Koda.. A sign at the reception area would have been helpful!
Dropped off two happy and healthy dogs and picked up two happy and healthy dogs. Couldn’t ask for more than that! The staff was excellent and we loved being able to check out the cams to see how the pups were doing. It’s a huge relief to know that we have somewhere safe that we can trust to take care of our dogs while we’re away.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE if you have an anxious baby. I have a German shepherd that loves to play with other dogs but is very vocal. I take him to the park and he plays with my mom’s 5 lbs puppy and other big dogs on the regular. He is quite literally a gentle giant. But because of the way these people “introduce” dogs to others he’s been deemed unfit for Group play. Might I add he’s been to 3 other daycare/boarding facilities that he is able to play freely in groups with zero problems. He has even been used in a trial with another dog that was new coming in. We even showed them multiple videos of him playing at parks and in another boarding facility with 10+ dogs. After telling them that he won’t react well with how they introduced him the first time, they proceed to do the standard “introduction” (if that’s what you want to call this) and put him on a leash behind a fence with a group of loud dogs on the other side of the fence…… huh??? How would your dog react to that if they are vocal and feel threatened?? Unprofessional and very disappointing. The fact that large dogs get discriminated against when they are vocal is really sad. My dog is literally the biggest lover.
Great place , fully staffed.finally found a place where my baby is well taken care of and gets to play with other dogs , he falls asleep right away when I pick him up after work, so I know he’s a happy pup. Excellent staff! Great communication with their customers
Buyer beware! If I can give this place negative stars I would. This place has obviously gone downhill. I usually don’t comment on these forums but this struck a nerve. It has been three weeks since our dog has been with PetParadise and just now we are getting her back to normal. She went in healthy and came out with two massive ear infections and bacterial skin infection. So, after $1500 of vet bills and care we have decided to never take her back to this establishment. You’ve been warned.
I’m new to the area and wanted to be familiar with good boarding. Because my dog is a very healthy and playful 15, he was basically not welcome because of his age. Even though this place is quite expensive we were willing to give it a chance. The vet on duty made it clear they were not an animal hospital. Not very professional.
I just love Pet Paradise and the staff is so very friendly. They treat the pets so very special and it’s the perfect name because Paradise it is I love the feeling when I walk in actually I love the feeling when I’m first driving up and I see the place I love it When take my dog any other place I don’t live close. I found this place about three months ago and I don’t mind traveling to take my dog there. It’s an awesome place. I recommended highly very clean. Staff is professional awesome and I love my dog she’s terrific. Blessings to them all . 💯👍🏽🙏🏽😍
All I can say is this place admitted having NO management. They put small dogs outside at 93 degrees and Peppy became dehydrated. Tomorrow he is to be tested for organ damage. He can’t keep his food down and he does mother but lay around when he used to be a high strung 12 month old puppy that loved to play with other dogs.
This facility lacks attention to the needs of the pets entrusted to their care. In addition, they charge a high price for boarding services while delivering minimal value. Recommend you keep searching for other long term boarding options for your pet.
Thank you so much to the team at pet suites for caring for our fur babies. They have so many ways to communicate we loved talking with the staff and seeing our fur friends via camera daily. We will be back soon
I called once and texted twice on Monday 10/28 to see if I could bring my 2 dogs to doggie day care on Tuesday. I never heard back, so I had to change my plans for Tuesday. I also had purchased a package and received an email that I was about to lose my "points" ($$ to me) if I didn't use it by 10/30! Well I am not happy as I bring my girls there often and they love it (I hope). We did have 2 storms that also prevented me from trying to use up my package....not sure I will buy another package if the rules are so strict. I would like to have sent a message to a "boss", but this seems to be only way I see to contact PetSuites
I called at 7:30 pm and asked if I got there a few minutes before 8pm(when they close) could I pick up my dogs. I was told no I couldn’t pick them up after 7:30. I know it takes time to get them ready for pick up and that is why I called. So this morning when I went to pick them up I asked when is the latest I could pick them up they said 8. I boarded my dogs because I had a funeral to go to out of state(they didn’t know this) and we have a threat of a hurricane tomorrow so you would think a little grace would be given because of the storm but no. So given the 2 different answers makes me wonder if it’s a training issue or was I lied to?
Groomer Amy is fantastic. We have an Australian terrier named Griffey. We tried many different groomers in the area. Griffey was a very challenging to groom. Initially we had to medicate him on his groom day. Amy worked with him several times and then requested that I not medicate him. That was 1 year ago. He goes in very scruffy and comes home a prince. He also uses the play day services. He plays hard and comes home tired. My husband and I would highly recommend Amy as a groomer and the staff at pet suites

Wanted to follow up on a new review- PetSuites Bradenton has improved dramatically! I am seeing a change in how the staff have stepped up their customer service. Management has made a course correction and it shows. Staff greets customers now (instead of being grumpy all the time). The change is infectious- customers and pets are happy to come over and when I pick up my dog, she’s in a good mood just like when I drop her off. I’m very happy that PetSuites are listening to customers and making those changes stick. I also see that the new team members are attentive and engaging. Makes a big difference when you get team members that actually want to do their job and not act like they’re annoyed by everything.
Just don’t bring your pet here until they have proper staffing. I never leave reviews because I don’t like trashing companies but when it comes to my dogs, that’s a different story. I don’t want other dog owners bringing their dogs here and having a bad experience like I did. Dropped my dogs off yesterday for their first day, one girl working the front desk , line out the door. Not her fault the place doesn’t have adequate staff. Took 25 minutes for check in. This is where I got mad and concerned. I picked them up 6 hours later and asked if they had fun/ played/ ate… the girl said “she had nothing to do with them.” ….what?? Then she brought them out and I asked if they had play time and she said, “I think they went outside, not sure”. I wanted to flip out. So I brought my dogs to a place for them to sit in a kennel for 6 hours…? They got in the car and chugged water so fast. Then I got a text after I reached out to the only person communicating with me throughout the day, TELLING ME THE DAYCARE WAS CLOSED bc of lack of staff!!!!!! I wanted to scream. Just tell me that before so I don’t waste my time driving there!! There were also a ton of dogs howling and crying in the back. I’m glad my dogs are safe but I’m now concerned about all these other dogs there. It was just so chaotic and unprofessional. The groomer was really nice though, she was the only one helping in the morning. I'm waiting for a call from management which I’m not sure is happening. I’m not messing around when it comes to the care of animals.
Our dogs had a great stay. They were happy coming home and smelled clean and fresh. Their weight was well maintained, and had received a good “paw-gress” report. The price was extremely reasonable, and we received an unexpected multi-pet discount. We will continue to choose PetSuites for our future needs.
