This is my second time looking after Maddie and she has very much stolen our hearts. She is an older dog and knows what she likes so it's important to go with the flow and stick to her routine or she will let you know about it :) The house is perfectly set up for relaxing and unwinding, we were quite happy to stay put and just hang out in the garden with her. Maddie's love language is affection, she absolutely loves to be around you day and night but is equally very chilled. Not a big walker, she really just wants to sit by you and have a nap or a cuddle. We very much look forward to our stays and would easily recommend it.
Cashew, Ivy, and Mitch are so much fun to sit for. They each have so much personality and will show you affection differently. Margeau's place is super clean and she leaves very detailed instructions on how to utilize and care for every aspect of the home. Margeau is very responsive and it is clear apparent that she loves her Little Ones dearly. Also, Let us just say that Margeau's place is absolutely beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. It felt so warm and inviting, especially the gift basket of pampering goodies that she left for us. You will enjoy this sit greatly!
Everything was perfect. Jennifer explains to me all what I need to know, she lets me informations by write and gave to me a lot of recommandations. Phœnix is a super lovely can who really loves playing and he has many toys so that was very funny. And the Jennifer’s appartment is super confortable, with everything you need and super close to downtown and the lake ! Thank you very much Jennifer ! Taking care of Lenu and Oreja was really good. They are friendly dogs with a lot of energy. Juliana and Juan left us well informed about how to care for dogs when walking and taking care of the house. The location is very good and the house is also super clean and cozy, we felt at home. You can always count on us to take care of Lenu and Oreja 😊
Highly recommend this sit. Koa and Fynn they lovely cats and easy to care for. Koa can be a bit shy but once he warms up he'll be around all the time asking for cuddles. Janice place is in a quiet neighborhood with tons of good restaurants and is easy to get to downtown. Janice is very welcoming and understanding, we have a lovely dinner with her sister Sara who help me to get to the airport, and also had a nice talk about her trips to Mx where I'm from. This was our first house sit - and we couldn't have had a better experience. Steve & Barb prepared us perfectly and in detail for our time at their beautiful place and with their lovely dog Harley. But in the first place they gave us a chance for this: As we were new to trustedhousesitters, we didn't have a reference yet but still they entrusted us with their house and their dog. And oh, did we enjoy the ten days! Harley made it so easy for us: He is a very sweet dog, relaxed and perfectly well behaved. We walked him twice a day in the beautiful neighbourhood and got to chat to many of the neighbours as Harley just knows everybody and everybody knows and likes Harley! In-between the walks Harley liked to relax and sleep - giving us plenty time to enjoy the amenities of Steve's & Barb's beautiful home. The house overlooks a lovely valley and is filled with light that comes in through large panoramic windows. We enjoyed spending time on the deck and in the back yard and in the evenings on the couch or in the jacuzzi. The house is furnished with so much love for detail! We instantly felt at home. Also we appreciated very much that Steve & Barb invited us over the night before they left for their trip: This way we had a chance to learn all about Harleys routines and make ourselves familiar with his favourite walks. Also the two had prepared a comprehensive Welcome Guide that gave us all the information we could possibly need for our stay. Dear Steve & Barb & Harley, thank you so much for your trust and for this wonderful and special experience. We'd do it again in heartbeat!

One time a syringe that we were using for an ear infection broke. Jeannie drove to our vets office to get a new syringe so she could keep up with the ear medication. Hi everyone, We left our Miniature Purebred Poodle Lilli with Jeanne Holm for a week to travel to NYC for our son’s wedding. Michael and I were both nervous wreck's. Never was our Lilli (22months Old) left with anyone. I have to tell you that after meeting Jeanne our fears were gone. Jeanne exudes confidence as a Pet Sitter Lilli loved her right away. Jeannie was recommended recently to us by friends of ours in our neighborhood in Bradenton. They went away on a 30 day cruise and Jeannie took care of both of their dogs while they were gone. They had nothing but good things to say about her so we asked her to watch our pup while we were out of town! Jeannie went above and beyond to make sure that our little girl was safe, well taken care of, and happy. She was very thorough in gathering information about our dog before we left her with her and thought of everything! Even things that I hadn’t….such as reaching out to our veterinarian to let them know that our dog would be with a sitter in the event that Jeannie had to take our pup there while we were gone. She was very accommodating in keeping Gema on her normal schedule, giving her medications, feeding her as instructed, etc. I was even able to FaceTime with our pup on a couple of occasions while we were gone, which gave me so much peace of mind! Our flight got in rather late in the evening, so upon our return, I asked Jeannie if she could drop Gema off at our place after dinner so that she would be here when we came home. Jeannie was happy to do this, and we were thrilled to see her a little girl when we finally got home! We appreciated everything that Jeannie did, and the communication while we were gone to let us know that everything was going well. Couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of our pup! We highly recommend Jeannie and trust our little girl completely with her!!! :)

Jeannie was an absolute dream of a pet sitter. We were out of the country for two weeks. We never had a worry. She sent us photos and videos everyday. When we returned home our house was in better shape than when we left. Jeannie stayed at our house and took perfect care of our dog, Lady Di. Our adorable little girl is not always the little angel she is for us. She was a rescue and is extremely fearful of people. She has been known to bark, snap and growl at anyone who approaches her. Dana was a godsend to us when we recently moved to Bradenton! We were looking for someone to train our rescue dog, Charlie, who has some unique issues with resource guarding and getting along with other dogs to name a few. Dana has done an amazing job and has gone out of her way to personalize a training plan for Charlie that is working! Dana is...absolutely one of a kind. There aren't enough words to express how wonderful she is. If you're looking for someone who doesn't JUST walk your dog(s) but connects with them, builds their confidence, and loves them wholly then you've met your match. My husband and I desperately needed a dog walker who could handle our 3 rowdy pups of all different breeds, walk styles, and temperaments (and who are on the stranger danger side!). Dana was more than happy to do a meet and greet with them. They're bit challenging but Dana reassured us she loves a good challenge and all three seem to adore her so much. She responsive, is always willing to answer your questions, and sends so many updates of their walks! Really couldn't ask for a more perfect match. Dana is the most hardworking, caring, and thoughtful person I have met. She has done outstanding work with our two dogs and our cat. The training she has done with them has helped us out so much, she was even able to teach me, my mom, and our 12 year old dog some new tricks and brings his puppy energy back out every-time he sees her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We cannot thank you, Cheyenne enough for stepping in at extremely short notice to look after our two kitties! We reached out to her on a weekend, less than 24 hours before leaving for a 10-day family vacation after our previous care arrangement let us down. Cheyenne called me back right away and, within a few hours, was at our home for a meet-and-greet to ensure we and our kitties felt comfortable. Her communication was impeccable—she kept us updated twice each day with detailed messages. She spent quality time with our cats, informing us about their eating habits, potty routines, and included plenty of photos. Our older kitty, who is usually shy around strangers, was completely comfortable with her, as evident in the pictures. Cheyenne, truly an angel. Cheyenne watched me two dogs in her home while I had a trip out of town. She has previously helped with walks and met them at my home, but this was my first time using her as a sitter. I'm always nervous with new sitters but she did an amazing job and my dogs clearly had a wonderful time! I appreciated how thorough her paperwork was at getting health information, preferences, etc. Super professional. She gave me updates while I was gone at the perfect frequency and I had complete confidence that everything was going well. 10/10, highly recommend, would absolutely use again!

Kaitlin Newman is amazing! As someone new to the Port Charlotte area and working long hours I was nervous bringing a new walker into my home. Once meeting Kaitlin those worried were instantly over. Jacque (my French Bulldog) can be a handful at time but Kaitlin took on the challenge. She treats Jacque as if he is her own. She finds joy in each and every visit with Jacque. Additionally, her communication is never lacking. She makes me aware if she will be running behind or if there is something alarming going on with Jacque. I look forward to her summary and photos daily, which is always lovely to receive during a stressful work day. Kaitlin has even hosted Jacque for two overnight boarding session in which he has been on his best behavior. Jacque is not socialized often with other dogs, so I feared having him around 5 other dogs at once but Kaitlin had no issues acclimating Jacque to the new environment. I knew he had the best of time when he would get home and sleep for the rest of evening and was even unwilling to do his usual walks the following day due to the fun filled weekend. I highly recommend Kaitlin and the Shiney Day company!

Cheyenne and Shiney Day Pet Care are the best! Not only was she extremely quick with communication but also very accommodating with last minute changes. She loves animals so much, which makes me happy as an owner because then I know my cats are in good hands. And if you have a sick animal, she knows how to take care of them. It’s nice to have someone taking care of your animals who you can also seek ask advice from. My cat was extreme my old and sick when Cheyenne gave her the best care and helped me with figuring out what was best for her.

I was very happy with the service that was provided. We ended up booking kind of last minute for Thanksgiving due to. We decided not to take Jasper with us, even though it was a pet friendly hotel. Tito always loves visiting pet paradise. The staff of always very attentive. Recently we had a death in the family and Tito was experiencing a lot of grief and not eating properly when I am not around. The staff follow my exact instruction and made sure he was eating. Showing him extra attention and giving him the comfort of what he needs. When I picked him up, he seemed to be very well taken care of and explained his full eating schedule of when he passed up a meal and they made sure to give him a re-feed later in the day to assure that he got all his meals and nutrition in.
We’ve been taking our dog to Pet Paradise in Lakewood Ranch for years, and we wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for her. The staff is always friendly, and we know our dog is safe, happy, and well cared for during her stays. The only issue I’ve encountered is with how her food and treats are managed. I always send her food pre-portioned in labeled bags for each day, but I’ve noticed that the labels are often ignored—some bags are used out of order or not at all. Additionally, I provide dental sticks for her to have every night before bed, but they’re not given to her. Overall, we truly appreciate the care Pet Paradise provides and hope this feedback helps improve the attention to personalized feeding instructions.
My German shepherd had the best time! The only complaint I had is that he came home limping. After bathing and looking at his back paws I noticed both rear paw pads appeared to be burned or cut to raw skin. NOT knowing about astro turf, this should have been communicated when making the appt. Had I known that this would happen, I would have only let him stay a few hours. Now my very active dog can bearly walk until his paws heal. Upon calling the next morning Gee Gee explained that astro turf can be rough and that they usually put Mushers on the paws.. but that wasn't the case with Koda.. A sign at the reception area would have been helpful!
Dropped off two happy and healthy dogs and picked up two happy and healthy dogs. Couldn’t ask for more than that! The staff was excellent and we loved being able to check out the cams to see how the pups were doing. It’s a huge relief to know that we have somewhere safe that we can trust to take care of our dogs while we’re away.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE if you have an anxious baby. I have a German shepherd that loves to play with other dogs but is very vocal. I take him to the park and he plays with my mom’s 5 lbs puppy and other big dogs on the regular. He is quite literally a gentle giant. But because of the way these people “introduce” dogs to others he’s been deemed unfit for Group play. Might I add he’s been to 3 other daycare/boarding facilities that he is able to play freely in groups with zero problems. He has even been used in a trial with another dog that was new coming in. We even showed them multiple videos of him playing at parks and in another boarding facility with 10+ dogs. After telling them that he won’t react well with how they introduced him the first time, they proceed to do the standard “introduction” (if that’s what you want to call this) and put him on a leash behind a fence with a group of loud dogs on the other side of the fence…… huh??? How would your dog react to that if they are vocal and feel threatened?? Unprofessional and very disappointing. The fact that large dogs get discriminated against when they are vocal is really sad. My dog is literally the biggest lover.
Great place , fully staffed.finally found a place where my baby is well taken care of and gets to play with other dogs , he falls asleep right away when I pick him up after work, so I know he’s a happy pup. Excellent staff! Great communication with their customers
Buyer beware! If I can give this place negative stars I would. This place has obviously gone downhill. I usually don’t comment on these forums but this struck a nerve. It has been three weeks since our dog has been with PetParadise and just now we are getting her back to normal. She went in healthy and came out with two massive ear infections and bacterial skin infection. So, after $1500 of vet bills and care we have decided to never take her back to this establishment. You’ve been warned.
I’m new to the area and wanted to be familiar with good boarding. Because my dog is a very healthy and playful 15, he was basically not welcome because of his age. Even though this place is quite expensive we were willing to give it a chance. The vet on duty made it clear they were not an animal hospital. Not very professional.

They treat the pets so very special and it’s the perfect name because Paradise it is I love the feeling when I walk in actually I love the feeling when I’m first driving up and I see the place I love it When take my dog any other place I don’t live close. I found this place about three months ago and I don’t mind traveling to take my dog there. It’s an awesome place. I recommended highly very clean. My parents have used ACE and had a positive experience, so they recommended it to me. I had a very positive experience too. I boarded my kitten with them and they gave me a little report card with a printed picture of him and information about his stay. And scheduling was easy. Pickup and drop off hours are convenient.
Ace takes amazing care of our two senior dogs. The team gave Mozart his twice daily heart medicine and fed our two fussy eaters according to instructions. Our dogs loved their potty breaks and enjoyed their stay. We never had to worry because the Ace team gave us detailed updates about our dogs whenever we asked. Thank you for being the best pet resort. RockZee and Mozart loved their stay!!!!
Everyone at Ace Pet Resort is friendly and helpful! I asked for a quick turnaround this morning, and she was actually done with a bath and nail trim i less than an hour! I highly recommend their services!

For an entire week we were receiving a report about how our cat eats, sleeps, goes potty, and how he behaved. It's wonderful that all the people who work at this place are so caring and attentive. When we came to pick up our cat, we were given a report with his photo and a detailed description of his habits during his stay. We will definitely recommend this place to cat and dog owners. We boarded our dogs for vacation & I didn't worry about them for the 1st time. We received an update via text that was very detailed. The entire facility is clean & organized. The staff really care for your pets like one of their own. Booking was very easy on the website. Also response time was quick with my questions. Thank you Ace Pet Resort ❤️🐶
My doggies (dachshund and Boston Terrier) had an awesome time! They came home happy and relaxed. I love the little report card they gave us for them. This is the first place I’ve felt like I didn’t have to worry about them.
Ace Pet Resort has been wonderful trough the years taking care of my dogs. I just picked up Chloe and she was loved, played and I have peace of mind knowing she is having the best care. The staff is friendly and very caring

I give it a five star! My Daisy Mae has been with you three times this year ranging from 21 to 6 days at a time. My husband has cancer and we have to board her for treatments. I can’t say enough about the staff they are so awesome! I get wonderful photos of her playing and updates of how she is doing! I already have her booked for next round! I have always found that the best indicator of a dog’s experience at a boarding facility is how they react when you pick them up. Although crazy excitement happens at seeing us again, after a stay at ACE, my dog is chill and relaxed. This has not been the same reaction from other facilities. I love the responsiveness and positive nature of the staff; updating us during our dog’s stay; and how clean they return your dog and belongings! I highly recommend them!
The care and love our dogs have received at Barks B N B is amazing. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. We will never take our dogs anywhere else. It is their home away from home. ❤️❤️❤️
We’ve used Barksbnb several times on our trip to Florida. The boarding facilities are fantastic and our big guy had lots of room to run and play outside. The second time we took him he couldn’t wait to get away from us to go hang out with the owner, Caroline! We will definitely use them again. They are wonderful people and provide top notch care. I also love that they they are very involved in the rescue community and take in doggies waiting for their forever homes.
What a great place! Caroline and Michelle are awesome! The "rooms" are clean; and there is plenty of space for the dogs to play and run. Our German Shepard puppy, Jaeger had the best time! We were also able to visit and take him for the day. He was happy and well cared for. We highly recommend!
Caroline took amazing care of our two dogs and helped accommodate our every need. We had a dog on medicine who needed special treatment and Caroline assured us that he would be completely taken care of as well as helped us with a last minute situation that came up on the day we were dropping off our dogs. We can’t wait to bring our dogs back, as we knew they were well taken care of and watched very carefully!

I had to leave out of town unexpectedly and I decided to board my dog here after reading the reviews. I was a little nervous at first since I’ve never boarded him before but after speaking with Caroline on the phone, I felt so much better. She explained to me what their schedule looks like and that they only board a few dogs at a time. Whenever I texted her to check up on my dog, she quickly responded and gave a thorough update. I know my dog had a great time there and I’d recommend it to anyone.
We boarded our two 50-pound dogs for several days. Before reserving, we checked out the place (with our dogs) and were very impressed. Large fenced yards, clean and organized kennel building, friendly and caring owner (Caroline) whose family lives on site. We were very comfortable and confident leaving our dogs in her care. All went swimmingly well. We highly recommend this business.
We moved to Florida almost a year ago and were worried about where to send our pup when we go out of town. We are beyond thankful to have found Caroline and Barksbnb. She so warm and welcoming as well as super easy to communicate with. Her website makes it so easy to book reservations in advance. The space itself is perfect! My pup has his own little room and so much yard to play in. We will always use Barksbnb for our dog as long as we live here. I recommend her to all my friends, family, and clients who have dogs all the time!
We did a lot of shopping local kennels before choosing BarksBnB. The entire experience was professional and comfortable; from the online reservation process, personal consultation and finally a great 4 night stay for our fur baby. She looked so happy running around the expansive yard. We plan to make BarksBnB our regular boarding provider and would recommend them to a friend 👍🏼👍🏼
Not a fan of kennels for my two little dogs but this one is the exception! New to FL and took a chance. Intimate setting...Caroline is a loving doggie mom! Clean facility with a nice fenced in area. Dogs have their own little “room”...no crates. My two share their cozy space. I have peace of mind that my dogs are safe and loved when I have to travel.
I am so thankful for this service. I could tell from the "meet and greet" that Dawn and her family were going to be wonderful with Dolly and give her lots of attention. We had left her at a kennel one time and she came home depressed for a few days. When we picked Dolly up from Dawn, she was her normal, happy self. I could tell that she was comfortable staying there and I am sure they took great care of her. We will definitely use this service again.
I have been going to yuppy puppy for years. But I must say I had a 9AM appointment this morning, I do not know the groomers name, but she has given my 2 girls the best cut they have received there. Lucy and Bonnie look amazing. Thank you.
My dogs have been going to Yuppy Puppy for 13 years. We are always pleased with our babies grooming experience. The owner is just a sweetheart, and all of her groomers throughout the years are very kind and always have taken good care of our dogs!
My daughter was coming home from college with a dog badly in need of a grooming. I called all the well-known groomers and they had zero openings for 4 weeks or more. I was shocked when I had a call back from Yuppy Puppy with an opening. I read through the reviews and was a little surprised that they were mostly 1 or 5. The most recent reviews were mostly positive and so I took the chance. I did mention this to the groomer who was aware of it and I told her I almost always write a review of businesses. So here it is. I was extremely happy with Ginger’s grooming. The dog was apparently happy too as she was running around with much more energy than before. I rated my encounter a 4 star simply because it was my first experience there. I won’t hesitate to take her back again. If I have a similar experience on the return booking, I’ll rate Yuppy Puppy a 5 star groomer. UPDATE: Today I returned with Ginger and our other dog, Lizzie. I was very satisfied with the grooming again, so I updated the score to a 5.
Never Again! My poor dog can not even lift his little leg to pee and can not sit. They shaved his privates raw on Friday! Here it is Monday (Christmas) and he is no better. Do Not Take Your Pet to this "groomer". I posted a picture, yes his little peepee was shaved so close they took skin off. NEVER AGAIN! Bullhockey to your reply! His name is Ziggy, Ziggy Stanley and you all owe this little guy a HUGE apology!
This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. This is the second time giving them a second chance was my fault. The first time they chopped my yorkies face up I called and talked to lady and she said bring him back and they would fix. They did so I thought the second visit would be much better! WRONG! I took him back and they gauged his eyes cut half his face very shabby and left the other side long never even gave him a bath.this place is not worth time or money.
Our George Julius loves his spa days. Emily has been his groomer and she is very sweet. He has a back problem and she was so gentle with him. When we pick him up he is happy and looks great. We have had many bad experiences with groomers in the past (cuts, razor burns, dropped, etc.) and I trust Emily.
They do a nice job on grooming . Each dog is secure in its own fairly large kennel while waiting there turn . I have an older dog and they take care of his special needs …
Absolutely and completely unprofessional. We'd been using them for about 4 months regularly, grooming our 42 pound dog. We knew there was only one groomer doing "big dogs" (big? what do they call Great Danes?), Mondays only, and made arrangements to bring her in today for grooming, bath, nail clip. It was early morning, so we left plenty of time for traffic. We got halfway there and the owner called to say they'd closed and their other facility didn't have a tub big enough for our dog. We'd only made the appointment a week before. Surely she knew they were closing! Why on earth did she make the appointment? By her own admission she's the only one booking appointments. Extremely annoying and a heck of a time of year (Christmas coming up soon) to do this with no warning. At the least, she could have called the night before or earlier so we wouldn't be sitting in traffic.
I take my two dogs , Hope and Noah , here . Noah can be a tough one sometimes , but they do a really good job with both my dogs and they are always happy .
Couldn't break $100. Refused to take my money. Wanted to hold my dog until I got correct change. All she had was a $10 bill. So I paid $90 for a $60 haircut. Wouldn't apply overpayment to my next appointment. (Not policy) I won't be back
We couldn't have asked for a better experience with April (Sweet Paws & Pads) watching Peaches this Labor Day Weekend. She welcomed Peaches into her home for Private PUPPY Boarding with Peaches immediately making a new friend, 'Maui'. Peaches looked so happy every time we received photos and updates from April. From 'Luxury' Boarding (our definition of her experience) Peaches received to our peace of mind, we highly recommend Sweet Paws & Pads if you need someone to watch your pet!!

Sweet Paws and Pads stayed with my little zoo for a weekend. They showed up on time, sent lots of pictures, my dogs and cats seemed very happy to have them there. I recently boarded my dog at Fox Creek on the recommendation of her doggy daycare. She had previously boarded at another place and I had to have a family member get her after one night because she got anxious and was snapping at other dogs, which is not typical for her. Needless to say, I was very nervous about boarding her again, especially with us gone so long. I'm happy to say that everything went really well. The staff I dealt with was so friendly and they did an excellent job sending me pictures and communicating about how well she was doing and that she was making friends. She was a very happy dog when I picked her up. We will definitely use Fox Creek for her next time we're out of town.
This place is nothing short of amazing. I previously went to a place in the area that was much bigger and felt very corporate so I wanted to try out a new place for my dog to spend his days. I am so happy I found Fox Creek Pet Ranch. They have the best interest of your pet and you feel that the second you arrive on their property. Everyone is super welcoming and your dog will come home happy and exhausted. Reasonably priced and great environment for dogs and I will continue to take my dog here because no other place compares! :)
Buddy had the best time at Fox Creek Pet Ranch. He came home very happy and he made a lot of new friends. This was the first time I left him somewhere while we were away and I was a bit scared how he's going to feel, but Tracy made sure he is happy and healthy. I received updates about him as well which made me feel better. He'll be back for sure. This is a best place for him to make friends and to play outside as much as he likes.

So far 100% pleased. I have a 12 yr old aussie who doesn't take to other dogs/cats due to fear/agression. They were so reassuring. I decided to do a day care trial run which worked out fabulously. They commented on how well she did. Texted me midday to report she was doing well. I think I'm more anxious than she is.... probably not. They run a tight ship. Place is immaculate. NO STRONG ANTISEPTIC smell. They have semi private "kennels" and open air crates that are HUGE and kept at least 4ft apart. No rescue concrete smelly kennel after kennel jail-looking place here. The owner Tracy ...I think... is very kind and truly "attention to detail" shows through. Staff is very welcoming. I put my Mocha here for 2 nights and hoping to do another 5 night stay later this month. Will update this review as needed.
I can’t praise Fox Creek Pet Ranch enough. They’re not a typical day-care for your pets. They actually care about and for your pets. They’re a small family-owned business; they like it that way. The ranch couldn’t be anymore well-kept or welcoming. This may sound weird, but you feel like you’re going home soon as you pull into the gates. We absolutely love the ranch and jealous we can’t call that our home! We were hesitant on leaving a review, simply because we want them to stay a hidden gem. But if you’re looking for a place to take your pets for daycare or boarding, I honestly wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.
The ranch has everything a dog could love: a beautiful tree canopy, other dogs to play with, kids, and an owner who is fabulous who loves all of the animals! My puppy gets so excited when I ask her if she wants to go to the ranch! We love it there!
The best place to board your animals! Not only is it a wonderful facility, it is perfectly planned and extremely clean. The owner is the most amazing human, you could not dream of a better person to take care of your loved ones! We are so lucky to have a place like this!
