We had the best time looking after Stanley and Valley Girl. They are such well behaved dogs and a special mention to Valley as she’s only a few months old! We had no worries if we ever needed to leave them for a couple of hours. They both love their food, walks and lots of attention 😊 Monfort is a lovely area to explore and within proximity to Paris. Alicia and Pascal were really friendly and gave us a brilliant welcome guide which had everything we needed to know. Their house is also amazing and we felt very lucky to be chosen by them to sit for them.
Bo is such a cool chick and a lovely welcoming host, her home was beautiful and calming. She also had great recommendations for beautiful lush walks in the area, I’ve even considered moving nearby because I’m impressed by the location. The restaurants around are fantastic ! LuLu the cat is one of the sweetest and most charming cats I’ve met. Talkative and cuddly, we got along straight away. She’s very easy and well behaved. I enjoyed sending little vlogs from Lulu to update, she’s very photogenic 😂Everything was well stocked and straightforward. I will definitely mind lulu again whenever possible, it was sad to say bye to the fluffball.
We had a super long weekend in Los Angeles with adorable Stanley! Kathlene was very laid back, friendly and accepted our application without a chat. So it was an adventure to arrive to a new housesit. We met Kathlene for a brief handover before departure. Stanley is easy to care for, a super character, affectionate and relaxed. He is a delight to look after. Easy on his leash, unless squirrels are afoot. We did not let him off leash.Stanley is comfortable out and about at cafes etc. He loves nothing but squirrel hunting, tug of war and lap time. Stanley slept peacefully on the bed with us. Freddie the Terrapin was also easy to care for. The location is near the La Brae District. Several museums in walking distance. Nearby is a great park, local food market, upscale shopping mall (think UK London Camden Market.) A Wholefoods, CVS, and Trader Joes within walking distance. 30 minute bus or 15 minutes drive to Sunset/Hollywood Boulevards. Most places are dog friendly. Well serviced by public transport, Lime Scooters etc The house is located in a secured, multi complex with laundry room, community pool (fee), multiple gardens, lovely cafe, children's park, and a Turkish food stall. A Pass is needed for parking which was easy to acquire. Kathlene's townhouse is cute, stylish, old school, with a quaint patio facing a community lawn to enjoy. Friendly neighbours! Ceiling fans were most welcome in the heat. Sitters have use of large master bedroom. Going to miss this little guy :) C&R
