The drive into Placitas is beautiful and you really get a sense of being outside of a busy city. As described, Nova is sweet and gentle while Boogie is very opinionated and likes to loudly express himself. Sitting on the back patio and looking at the mountain sunset was especially peaceful and relaxing. If you have a longer stay, be sure to put your clothes on hangers in advance so you can find places to hang them. No closet or drawer space is available. Overall, enjoyed our visit and have fond memories.
I highly recommend sitting for Charlie Brown. He is a sweet tempered and well behaved pup who loves everyone. Sarah was clear, welcoming and easy to communicate with. The house is beautiful and very clean, in a fantastic location near downtown Durango.

I loved staying at Gemma & Marks house looking after their tribe. Their house is traditional spanish style, with a great guest bedroom, so comfy & large bathroom. The views are my favourite & its so lovely to sit outside giving the dogs a cuddle while the sun is setting. The dogs are easy to care for. Gemma left detailed instructions re the dogs feed etc. & they love getting extra treats. They all walk really well on the leads & love going out on their walks. The cats are easy to care for also. Just make sure their food & water is well stocked & thats pretty much it. You do need a car & then you can access so many great areas from their house. The cute villages of Coin & Alhaurin El Grande are nearby. Marbella is about a 35min drive away through the mountains & to the other side, only 30mins to the beautiful city of Malaga. Plus there are so many lovely forest walks to do which Blue, Nikita & Sacha love. I definitely fell in love with Gemma & Marks fur kids & would love to visit them again. A great sit, would definitely recommend.
Tom is very good at communicating and the place is clean and beautiful. Cats are very sweet.
Sitting for Alison's cats & the chickens were lovely. Alison gave great instructions and was always available if I had questions. Would happily sit for them again.
