Julian and Michelle are wonderful, friendly people. Their communication was without fault, as every detail has been thought of, which meant that their beautiful property quickly felt like a home away from home. Julian & Michelle were readily available on WhatsApp for any concerns or questions we had. Chisenga is extremely well trained and a joy to take care of, she has a beautiful nature and will love to show you her land, and she is truly amazing for 14 years old. We would strongly recommend taking care of Chisenga at Tragariff, we consider ourselves very lucky to have experienced it. To
Me, my partner and my son (12) had an excellent experience of house sitting at Frances’ in this beautiful English countryside mansion in Wonston. First, Frances, her partner and son were very warm hosts who picked us up from the station, served us dinner and made us feel very comfortable the moment we arrived. Rhum and Stroma are amazing Labradors full of energy and love for the hoomans taking care of them. They are well groomed and so well behaved. While Rhum inspires with her never say die spirit, Stroma, at 14, inspires with her affection and calm presence. Frances has taken care to plan and schedule the meals and walks of the two so that everything is organised, predictable and easily manageable. Frances showed us some walk routes and we enjoyed every walk with Rhum and Stroma, despite the weather being typical December. We enjoyed couple of evenings at the local pub and could also manage time for sightseeing at Winchester. Personally, for me, art collection of Frances inspired me to paint and I completed quite a few pieces. We had a perfect holiday, off from work and school, we felt refreshed, rested and energised: ready to step into the new year. We have been missing Rhum and Stroma since we got back. I put together the beautiful memories of our stay at Frances’ in a short video: https://youtu.be/9H8e1O96vwQ?si=bqhFS1Oj8aiyZZ_R
Marilyn and Iz are such loving dogs! They were a little nervous at first but soon never left my side. Julia is very kind and replied quickly to any questions I had. The house is in a good neighborhood and super clean and beautiful- the Christmas decorations were so cute! I would definitely recommend this sit!
What a joy it was to housesit for Marilynne! She was incredibly organized and ready for a housesitter to take over while she was away. She had detailed instructions, introduced me to her neighbors in the event I needed any support, and was kind and communicative. She was generous: providing suggestions of what to see in Asheville, sweetly left some fresh groceries in the fridge and well stocked supplies, and provided a thoughtful gift upon my arrival. Her cats were very loving and fun to spend time with. If you have the opportunity to housesit with Marilynne, do it. She is a wonderful host and human being!
This sit was the best! My time with Hayduke and Mowgli was relaxing and trouble-free. They are the most beautiful boys! Jesse and Claire were extremely thorough in their handover and communication throughout the stay. Their home was beautiful and they were very generous! Thanks for having me!
We had a lovely time sitting for Tracy and Chris in their beautiful home in the Haute Garonne. They were incredibly welcoming and Chris cooked us a fabulous meal on our first night and their hospitality was a fabulous accompaniment to our introduction to Alfie, Rani and Billy. Alfie is very affectionate and followed us everywhere. He loved sitting at our feet in the kitchen and he showed us all the best walks on the country lanes in the most beautiful countryside surrounding the village. Billy and Rani were great company joining us on the sofa in front of the TV in the evening and letting us know when it was their feed times. All in all a fantastic sit for the loveliest of people...thanks for selecting us.
